I have to make a new character for a game by tomorrow night and I have zero inspiration. Anyone else ever experience this?

Roll a young sorcerer who's master was recently executed for sedition against the crown. How does he feel about that? What will he do now in the midst of this upheaval?

Roll a somewhat dubious mercenary looking to take advantage of the conflict to make some easy coin. Unfortunately, he is betrayed by his employers, and is drawn into the conflict for his own reasons, be it payback or trying to clear his name.

Roll a cleric that is attempting to distance himself from the politics of the riot while trying to help the wounded on both sides. He can inevitably be dragged into aiding one side or the other due to actions outside of his control. For example, perhaps some particularly violent law enforcement decides to attack him for helping the rioters.

No. I have more ideas for characters than I have time actually building them.
It's easy to just start on a silly idea and flesh it out while you're crunching the numbers.
Next I want to make a half-orc warrior who (mistakenly) believes in the power of music and trains to change the world with his drum-playing and singing. He's not a bard, he's got no actual magic going for him. But he'll pour all his heart into his dream.
My end goal is for him to become so great a musician that little elves will sit down on his mighty shoulders and play their flutes and harps while he works his drums and vocal cords. He'll probably never get that far of course.

An eccentric fashion designer that creates clothing familiars for mages.
No ideas? You can always just roll a dick-ass thief. Just have one of the other PCs catch him stealing or something and say he would be executed under the current marshall law, so he's got to tag along for now. From there you can choose whether to remain a dick or soften up. Or maybe you were only stealing for some good intentions? Either way, my vote goes to rolling up a rogue.

A street smart swordsman with his own brand of justice. Secretly a fallen ex-Paladin and deserter, he's currently on the run from his former comrades.

Roll a tax collector (rogue or bard) who was sent by the king's treasury to ensure that various nobles pay their taxes, but your papers were misfiled, and now your a cop or some shit
