The World of Warcraft Cartoony look of course. We already see it in AoS.
Personally I don't mind it as I played a lot of mmo´s in my youth, but I can still understand why people hates it.
Other than that, we actually see some of the more goofy creations of the 80´s sketch arts, not translated in a model (Lord of sculls for instance). And I think GW doesn't give a shit about things that was cool back in the 80´s, simply ain't cool now. Fortunately we have FW to correct for many of the un-cool mistakes GW does.
But to summarize, a more cartoony look over all, this will undoubtedly spread to 40k as well I fear.

This is another point. The current design team will have grown up with 40k instead of Dune/Alien etc. and basically played broken telephone with their research.
Especially in AoS, expect less things to be based on actual realistic arms and armour and more on a cursory, uninitiated idea of what armour is.

You know why it annoys me so much? I don't even play Slaanesh, or particularly like Slaanesh, but I know what Slaanesh is about. I understand that Slaanesh is about excess, about an unquenchable desire for new heights, and that hedonism is just one colour in the big Slaaneshi rainbow.
But some gobbet of minge-curd in GW marketing decided "LOLNO SLAANESH IS TITS AND COCKS AND ROCK-N-ROLL" and cunt-punted the entire thing out.
So not only is it a prissy decision, which is bad enough by itself, but it's based on some retard's misunderstanding in the first place. Probably doesn't even play 40k or WFB, and if they do, have a token 1000pt army of Ultramarines.
