How do I convincingly play my ork falling to chaos?
Rogue trader turned black crusade. Crew consists of
1)Super heretikal genetor (de facto captain)
2)Super mutated rogue navigator (party face and devil on our shoulder)
3)Super powerful Tzeentchian sorceror (probably behind the navigator)
4) oversized ork Kommando who sort of fits the bill for a champion of chaos undivided.
- incredible warrior, turns into a blender around enemies. Stronk and fearless.
- dedicated to achieving stealthy perfection. His art, his passion. (Ork Kommando)
- lives in filth, doesn't care about disease or mortality, just about staying with his boys and his boss. Has been exploded half a dozen times and dismembered twice as often as that so far. Disgustingly, brutally tough.
- Tzeentch I dunno. He doesn't have a whole lot of just as planned, unless he was a cats paw for a higher ranked sorceror (cough) I do t see how he could swing this.
Also dual wielding a daemon weapon of slaanesh, khorne, and wearing armour made of a nurglish blessed swamp slug. (40m long, 7m wide slug called "death" on its death world)

From what I've seen in the fluff, Orks are generally immune from chaos corruption from a mixture of both the ork race's version of the hivemind which keeps the race more or less of the same mindset and the fact that most orks don't know or care about the actual concept of chaos. But it does happen, but I've only seen it in full on warbands in the fluff. I'd say your boy would need to realize that the gits he's with are weird and probably should get some good ol' insanity melting direct exposure to the warp.

Orks can, and do, fall to Chaos. It just isn't very common.

so you're saying that, in Ork terms, he's insane. maybe go with that?
a Tzeentchian Ork though, that's a tough sell. maybe he's not just insane for an ork, he's also depressed? a loner? orks aren't usually either of those, but if he's the only ork around it could work. maybe he's an unstable, mentally ill ork, which drives him to commit extremely un-orky acts, like hanging around with 'oomie lunatics and not immediately killing them, or mounting anything other than a direct assault. maybe Tzeentch fucked with his genetics in order to rob him of his inherent orky-ness, that could work seeing as orks are mostly born with the knowledge that makes them ork-like.

Tzeentch is just an aspect of gork and Mork. Just like khorne, slaanesh and nurgle.
He's the kunnin to khornes brutality, yeah?
Just as planned isn't Tzeentch, despite what we think we know, it's altering the flow of events around you, usually through subtle means.
Tzeentch is also the most fickle of the gods. Hell, he might sponsor and ork to spite his true adherents.
Nurgle is just Orks being ded 'ard, slaanesh is weirdboys and their thinky wotzits, khorne is the brutal part of tzeentches kunnin' (or is it kunnin brutality?)

It's far fetched but I'd hate to retire the character because I can't rationalize why he would stay.

Oh yeah, the insanity is real and the DM is merciless.
Our genetor might be on his way out due to high insanity. The DM does thing thing where he alters what the NPC's hear slightly. We're all in on it but it leaves the genetor confused and angry (in character) which makes him act crazier.

simple: Khorne
rage, desire to fight and destroy become more and more present in your personality until it overpower every aspect of you and you start being less and less controllable by your party.
slaanesh: it would be harder, gun smith perfectionism is a possibility but orks do not take sadistic pleasure in torture, they just like to fight and destroy, it would be hard explain you fall to the temptation of slaanesh just because you wanted a better gun, orks like bigger guns, not better guns most of the time.
i really don't know man,if you managed to do interesting khorne stuff it would already be enough, orks aren't very prone to chaos anyway.
Slaanesh smiles on obsessive perfectionism. Perhaps your Kommando focuses entirely on sneakin' up ta gitz and krumpin' 'em good to the detriment of his other repertoire of murder, and periodically surprises the ship crew by popping up out of nowhere to yell at them. Or use them for practice.

Yes. He kidnaps them and tried replacing em with grots.
Captain found out and kept squishin the grots so he stuck to popping out of the shadows and ambushing crewmen, and leaving them on different parts of the ship for praktus.

The genetor has kept a squig around for a few years. It's now enormous in size and has a battle harness for grots loaded in heavy weaponry.
As sole Ork on the ship it fucking loves Waz-Cutta. Gives him slobbery licks whenever it sees him. It is a rare breed of juicy squig though, so Waz constantly fights temptation to krump and eat it.

Speed Freaks especially could fall to Slaanesh. Mekboyz, Burnaboyz, Tank Busta Boyz, and Kommandos are also all susceptible. They just need to push their obsession past Orky to Chaos.
