It felt like years since they were liberated from the City of Wizards, Kalheep. Various groups of Elementals escaped into the desert surrounding the oasis that Kalheep was built on, most to their deaths by the various creatures that inhabited the sandy dunes. One group, however, stood strong against the wild, being led by one of hte only types of elementals able to wield magic, Arcane Elementals.
Created by wizards to act as assistants and to keep the peace in the cities, most were killed during the uprising. The few that survived fought for the wizards and not the elementals. Now, the last free Arcane Elemental leads a shambling group of fellow Elementals through the desert... Until they discover a similar oasis to the one that Kalheep was built on. This is where they decided to stay.
