A dragon hoard can be a good thing, a dragon horde on the other hand...Is that the new season of American Horror Story?
>>46477628
It's spelled "whored."

I have a friend who without fail pronounces "infantry" as "infiltry." It's maddening. He also moxes up "cavalry" and "Calvary."

When I was in high school, I got into TRPGs with AD&D. Whenever somebody played a cleric, we would always pick the lucern hammer polearm as our weapon, because everybody knew that clerics can't use edged weapons.
Later, someone (I think it was me) googled "lucern hammer" and found out that it it really looked more like a bec de corbin. We decided that clerics couldn't use them anymore, and made a few jokes about how it was silly that it wasn't really a hammer even though they called it one.
And just now, I googled "lucern hammer" to make sure I wasn't mistaken about anything, and it turns out it did, in fact, have a hammer. It was just kind of small, because the weapon was designed for puncturing armor; it just wasn't a long warhammer like we'd been expecting. So all those jokes about it not being a hammer were kind of stupid, in retrospect.
Also, in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, there is no such rule that says clerics cannot use edged weapons. Read those rulebooks, lads, you never know what you'll find.
