Yo. I was rolling a Imperial guard, and I got an abhuman regiment from a wasteland.
I am kinda bored of the usual abhumans in lore, so I am trying to make and fluff up an abhuman strain. I need some ideas.
Right now, I have been thinking of a strain similar to flame falcons. This is strain that lives a very cold wasteland, that can burst into flames. The ability is side effect of their diet on the wasteland. On their own, this ability is okay-ish. But they have special suit that can contain them, and sometimes focus their fire.
What do you think? Do you have other interesting ideas?

Wasn't some space marine chapter excommunicated for this very ability?
>>46434426
fire hawks?
>>46434426
Yeah, the flame falcons. I am trying to find a way for the imperium to more or less tolerate them.
My fluff so far is that their ability is purely chemical and organic. Their planet had wasteland with a lot of nasty chemical. Fire ability was developed as a side-effect to consuming some kinda dangerous chemicals, and a safeguard against some others.

Say some shit like "they cleanse their sins with the rightous flames of the Emperor." I dunno, best idea I can provide to help the Imperium allow it.

I was thinking of making them related to flame falcons in a way.
What if at first the Inquisition thought flame falcons' fire was similar to these guys, but later found out it was warp-based?
They serve in the Guard as repentance, and their ability gives them a slight advantage to Orks, or chemical based enemies?

>abhuman
How about an Imperial regiments pulled from the planet in Attack on Titan?
Human titans can be interesting.

>Human Titans
Yeah, good luck going back in time for that, bro.
Unless, of course, they were the biproducts of the Dark Age of Man and some have survived as cryogenic test subjects for geneseed experiments.

Feudal worlds.

I assumed that Attack on Titan happened on a feudal world in 40th millennium. I mean, did we ever get a verification in the manga that they are on Earth?

Definitely not earth. Have you seen that technology they use? Unless it's future earth.
