I'm actively building WG humies with some angels for good measure. Still need to find an Avacyn, though I'm not even sure if I should put her in or instead run 1 Descend upon the Sinful, which I already have, as a more reliable board wipe.
What I want to build for shits'n'giggles but will probably be hard as fuck to make work, if it works at all, is blue mill with Clues using the mill Delirium guy, the mill Mythic and the Clue mill card.
Triskedakephobia would also be a fun deck to fuck around with, but that one's even less likely to work.

This deck's mana curve is really poor for what its trying to be, which is obviously an aggressive deck. You want a creature on the field on turn one if you're going this route, and lots of cheap creatures and boosts that compound each other.
You also have very little removal.
Some of your choices are questionable. Things like cathar's companion rely on you to basically cast an instant to make it useful though you don't have many instants in your build, and cards like Unruly Mob rely on your creatures dying to become strong which isn't a good thing to plan for with this deck that doesn't have much synergy around creatures dying. Things like Flameblade Angel have a similar effect about them, also she has such a small body for 6 CMC.
I mean, just to be straight with you this deck is garbage if you're planning on taking it to FNM. Which is just fine, as you only just started playing, it's expected. There's a lot more I could say about it.
I recommend if you want to go this route, focus on 1, 2 and 3 CMC creatures and instants that compound each other. Human tribal, wolf tribal and vampire tribal all have stuff going on at this CMC level and do the same thing you're trying to do with this deck a lot faster.
Are there any decent budget ways to get into standard? I was thinking of either mono red burn or aggro, or maybe white green aggro but I am still not sure of how either will look post rotation.
So if Ramp and Wx Abbey are the level 0 decks going into week one, doesn't that make Memedrazi the next level?

The moment someone gets Silverfur Partisan to work in a deck it'll shoot up, along with the Alpha and possibly the Hermit.
Deathcap Cultivator seems like it's worth more than two dollars in a new, fast meta where delerium was surprisingly easy to activate.
The Journal has to go up simply because of the combo "sac three clue tokens, take any creature from your deck and put it in play at end of turn" seems like more than a 40 cent card.
Scourge wolf was surprisingly effective.

When making a deck it's a common newb trap to see many synergies and try to shove a little of everything into a deck. A deck needs a central unifying theme, a gameplan to focus on, even if that gameplan is "play dudes and tuen them sideways". Having an incidental combo in your deck is generally a bad idea, especially when the individual cards that make up the combo are bad, such as with Stern Constable.
What you really want to do is pare down your ideas and focus on one thing you want the deck to do.

I'm about to brew a BU zombies deck after the SOI fully releases. Once SOI rotates out, I'll be able to convert a lot of these zombies into a zombie modern deck.
I'll probably make a BR vampires madness deck too, but I want to wait and see. I've never really enjoyed vampires all that much, but I like their mechanics and madness is fun, so I hope this will give me something cool.

Alright, so, first decide on if you want to be fast or slow, if you want to be fast, which I am assuming you do based on the post, start by cutting everything over cmc3. Then you want to decide what your perfect series of plays is and put 4 of every card in that series into your deck, also make sure your perfect series of plays is capable of winning early, early being turn 3-6. You want the core of your deck to be 4 ofs to maximize consistency. From there you can start putting 2 and 3 ofs in your deck of more situational cards that are still conducive to your game plan. Once you've got that much you'll be in a much better position to start asking us for real, specific advice about your deck.

Monoblack sorin and the lord of innistrad are still the best two versions of that walker. His ult could summon a thousand vampire knights but they still suck and die to a cyclonic rift.

Making a bw allies deck that hinges on kalastria healer and the two gold uncommons (and the ally 2drops to gain enough incremental life to pull it off) from bfz block to set up enough lifesucking to win. Possibly with triskadekaphobia
