Finished another thread of WrestleQuest. In case anyone's wondering, the next thread likely won't be up until Monday, due to me taking a trip this weekend. I already posted this in the quest thread itself, but whatevs.
So in the last drawthread there was some random derailing that led to something I want to see as a quest thread, but I'm not QM enough to pull it off.
Before I dig it up and post it in here, have any QMs run a quest that has 4 pre-determined protagonists? Basically an actual party doing things instead of just a single "main character"? Most of the quests I see feature just the one main character, a decent supporting cast, and background characters.
Note: I don't really follow quest threads, but have glanced in on a few here and there over the years.

I know Dungeon Life switches perspectives a bit between the main cast and Devil Summoner did the same for a while before settling in with the MC for the rest of the quest.
So it could work but you have to hope your playerbase can keep in character with different personalities and not metagame.
The entire thing started from a drawfriend requesting "operator" requests. Noone knew what the fuck they meant. Greentext intro of each character, in order of appearance in the thread, and the first two are the original requests that birthed them. (the last two weren't even requests at that point, it was just people enjoying the derail)

But I sure remember a great one, when in preparation for a battle the players proposed to shoot some crows that's been flying around, raise them as undead, and set them on the enemy's griffin riders. Resulted on a complete success and the opposing aviation being utterly destroyed.
The one where they came up with the idea of dismantling a flying ship and reassembling it on the other side cause it was too big to go through the portal in one piece was also pretty good.

I have an idea for a quest I want to run but I'm pretty insecure about it. I don't doubt the concept, I think it's pretty solid, I just wonder to what degree I'll be able to deal with the thread.
It's more or less a kingdom management quest that I want to run, but I'm not sure about a few things.
