A Titan legion highly adept at killing enemy Titans, using the Reaver, which has the best mix of armour, speed and firepower as their mainstay, able to engage an enemy titan with three or four of their own to bring it down with weapons like Volcano Cannons and Laser Blasters. Founded during the waning to clear out traitor titan enclaves (many affiliated with the Alpha legion and Night Lords) they felled several Daemon-Titans during this time, but suffered as a result. because of this, they were withdrawn and set to guard the sector's main shipyard forge, but unfortunately they came into conflict with an enemy they were ill-equipped to face, the Tyranids, whose swarms simply overran the Titans with sheer numbers.
Using bad latin translations, one name that springs to mind is the Legio Cacifector, the Giantslayers for their assigned task of killing traitor titans.
can someone tell me the point of a titan legion? its like having a marine chapter made solely of dreadnoughts, one is enough for basically everything and if you need more just rec some from another regiment or something

A Titan Legion is the ultimate weapon, deployed for the biggest battles to turn the tide. Few enemies can stand against a dozen or more walking giants, covered in the most destructive guns available and protected by the most powerful shields and heaviest armour.
The point of a Titan legion is to crush everything before them, to be the big stompy death brigade that can turn the tide of almost any battle. They are the final argument of the God-Emperor/Omnissiah.
