2. Dar Eldar and SoB`s looked terrible, but especially the sisters were a pain in the ass to battle when played right

IMO they should`ve continued the original series, instead of switching to non-basebuilding DoW 2.

Flyers were pretty meh. They either got shat on completely or were almost untouchable if used correctly. And I preferred the SS campaign over DC, at least mechanically. DC's way of base management after battles was so fucking boring I quit the campaign halfway through and just set it to easy to steamroll everything. SS also had more enjoyable skirmish, even if only because of variety

The hammy voice acting made the game infinitely more enjoyable than serious voice acting that was Space Marine. 40k is an over the top setting and it's boring as shit if you try to make it "mature and serious"

Basically, everything about the blood ravens as made by GW is the opposite of the faction that we love. Dawn of war 2 kinda made them less fanatical and more tacticool, but dawn of war 1 had them saying stuff you don't generally hear space marines say.
