A weird virus that infects mecha pilots. If they die in their mecha, their corpse fuses into the suit, and slowly converts the mecha into a totally biological version. The mutated biomecha have brains which are advaced replicas of the pilots brain when they died. The biomecha know everything the pilot did, and even have the same mannerisms and speech patterns, but the biomecha will go out of their way to kill pilots and make new biomecha, often preying on the emotions of other pilots by pretending to be a friend back from the dead, or something like that.

The biomecha are faster and stronger, but more susceptible to damage.
>>
>>46285338

Chechens, Vietcong, ISIS and whatever, team up to fuck your shit.

Sneak into bases to kill pilots when they sleep, sabotage your machinery, and steal beam rifles to mount them on technicals.

You have to expect extremely underhanded tactics and be on maximum alert 24/7. Hard mode: they also stole your coffee machine.

Manipulative vampires that have kept their existence secret for centuries are actually manipulation both your faction and your antagonists in a solar-system-sized game of chess. A prototype anti-mecha cannon developed by a rogue faction of ragtag mercenaries is forcibly taken by a generic empire guys.
>as generic grunts of the empire, fend off the mercs and realize that the last fight has separated you together with the weapon far from the main fleet. Meanwhile, your technician gave you some serious info: THE CANNON HAS AN AI AND IS LIKELY A PART OF A LARGER SET
>as mercs, do everything to take back the cannon! Since the first ambush on the transporting fleet failed, your cap'n commands a bold move: Let's kidnap Empire's first princess to have something for an exchange!

Also, the princess' secret twin sister was used as base to develop the weapon's AI.

In order to save costs the vast majority of our second moonbase was built using purely ai driven construction mechs with few human overseers. As the base neared its final stages of completion something went wrong, an SOS signal was heard coming from one of the supervisor's, but cut off suddenly. No transmissions have came from Moonbase 2, since.

Moonbase 1 only has a hand full of left over old human piloted construction mechs from the days of its own construction, and a few newer maintenance mechs available to use to investigate what exactly happened at Moonbase 2.

Leaders of most factions are reasonable and are sure they can reach a consensual solution to their divergences through diplomacy, discussion and mutual progress. The giant mecha and the super-cool mega-weapons are created by the military-industrial complex to ensure new generations of gun-nuts, /k/o/m/mandos and jingoistic mall-ninjas will push for always more war and more military answers and more buying of impractical weapons because they want to see the sweet toys in context even if it implies billions of dead.

The PCs are mecha-pilots that have to do everything in their power to stop diplomacy and progress from ruining war for ever.

The Terraformers have come back. A Von Neumann army of terraforming AIs that were supposed to be shut down because there were enough planets for humanity now.
Unfortunately, the company that made the shutdown patch was almost bankrupt and gave only the minimum of work hours to their dev team.
Long story short, there is now an army of self-replicating AI spaceships trying to terraform already habitated planets.

Humanity will die. It's inevitable. But there is a bunch of rich people, including the fuckers responsible for the patch, trying to build a space ship that the terraformers wouldn't consider a planet and thus wouldn't attack.
The rich people have the best tech, including AI guard robots and shit.

Is your squad of socialist powered armor infantry and mecha pilots bad enough to prevent the rich people from escaping justice at the hands of the terraformers?

So yeah. A campaign about preventing people from leaving a doomed earth. With mechs and shit. And the PCs are from poor socialist countries and consider the wealth of rich people to be theft on the common man.
And because everyone will die, anyway, you can go all-out with collateral damage. But you get points for taking the rich people alive, because forcing them to live in prison until the terraformers arrive is nice torture for the crime of being rich.

After the war went bad for your faction, you and your unit of amphibious mecha are part of the few remaining remnants of your obviously-not-Zeon invasion force. You will have to hide, contact your surviving comrades, and set up a guerrilla force on earth against the enemy, in preparation for the glorious return of your main army and the final conquest of earth.

It will be hard, the path never easy, and you may have to sacrifice your morals to ensure your survival (>Implyingzekeshavemorals), but it will all be worth it when your comrades return.

Except they never come. What is left of them will contact you, and from time to time try to supply you, but over time it becomes clear that your war is lost and you are only fighting the inevitable.

You are not a soldier. You are not a scientist. You are not a technician or even affiliated with the military in any way. You're just a regular Joe, with a regular job, living in a regular city, with a regular shitty apartment downtown. Every day you get up, go to work, come home, watch TV, and go to bed. Day in and day out.

You didn't pay much attention to the news going on about some political bullshit going on Over There, it didn't matter to you, it didn't matter to anyone around you. No one cared and just groaned about more wasted taxpayer dollars if it ever came up in conversation.

Then more and more people were glued to the TV everywhere you went. Whatever. You've got to work overtime this week because the idiot you work with got himself into a car accident or some shit who cares. Besides, the politicians on the TV said there was nothing to worry about.

Then one morning you wake up to sirens, the sirens then become explosions, the explosions gunfire, the gunfire accompanied by the thunderous footsteps of giant humanoid war machines tearing through your fucking city with no goddamn care of the people and property they're trampling on.

You need supplies. You need to get to safety. You need to survive.
>>
>>46285338

While most machines are piloted via sophisticated brain-machine interfaces you are one of the chosen pilots who can literally transfer your mind into the machine giving you a degree of mobility and power unlike the traditional counterparts.

However this comes with a heavy price as prolonged bouts in this state can cause severe mental degredation and body dismorphia.

You and your squad are trapped far behind enemy lines and you're already nearing the safe limits of run time. You're suits will no doubt last but can your mind hold out long enough to survive being hunted and get back to base?

You plaiy a group of mecha enthusiasts in a world that no longer needs them; a world where the enemies that required mechs to fight them are now gone or extinct, and humanity has largely been at peace.

Its been a generation or so since mechs were really needed, and have actually been phased out, considered too large an expense for what is now a simple policing force. But with new enemies emerging from the Galactic core, and human armies falling before them like wheat before a scythe, the government has called on you to not only train a new cadre of Mecha-fighters, but to fight the invaders to save humanity.
>>
>>46286426

Indeed, the important aspect here is that the PCs are slowly degrading even though they are fairly powerful individuals so they are just glass cannons trying to hold each other together while other glass cannons such as themselves are going after them.

If I can find other people who have the nWoD books there are a number of things I would run that isn't based on the Chronicles.
>>
>>46285370
I would watch that. The MC turning into a wreck as his actions slowly skew towards questionable, then reprehensible, then horrifying. Humans pilot the mechas by connecting the suit to the brain via implants. However, this also connects the suit to the soul and after decades of use the suits start becoming sentient, also rarely, people's souls can get transferred into the suit if they've used the same one for years (you can think of other freak reasons for this to happen adding on previously mentioned ones)

Maybe people who use the suits slowly lose their humanity, meaning few people want to become pilots which would allow for mecha and non-mecha militaries.

Whether or not the civilisation/s are aware of the existence of the soul or that the suits do this is up to you.

Bonus if their are good and evil suits

Simple, the rare unobtainable that makes mech viable as a suit (either for armor resistance vs arty or for the engine - armor could be cooler but to power engine more classic) have begun to run out - now the PCs/main characters are stuck trying to enforce the dictates of an increasingly desperate central command, and coming constantly in contact with the enemy (instead of it being a WWI were all humans together message - play it more like Nam or the Iraq war where it's two incompatible societies fighting), and realize that the only thing that matter is each other.

They might need to defeat/kill former allies who've gone rogue trying to steal the Unob for themselves, only at the end for them to capture the unob and have the choice to join the rebels, continue their military orders, or strike pit on their own.

As a stinger, show all of the hoarded Unob going to elite divisons out in the middle of space (said divisions who would've easily won the PCs campaign without all the anguish) to Colonize huge tracts of UnOb - completely trivializing the PCs war.

Search and Rescue team is stranded on an unknown planet with nothing but light construction vehicles and it turns out they've responded to a distress call from the Enemy.

Cue them banding together with the non-combat S&R having to get together with the enemy combatants, S&R is mixed gender enemy squad is all male with a female "political advisor" slash Officer murder cyborg with no actual reproductive bits.

I dunno, they band together to brave the elements and start farming to survive and find a primitive humanoid race that already lives there.

We'll let fetish levels determine how humanoid.

So conflict between genders, command structure, political alliances, personal beliefs, pacifism vs. nationalism etc.

Have there be conflicting interactions with the natives, different opinions on how to treat them, gradual realization that they are sapient.

Internal pressure comes to a head with how to treat the natives, violent faction expels native peace faction, peace faction flees and finds secret ancient native tech with a warning about it corrupting and it resembles the mechanism units used in war that are not totally understood. Peace faction has a young woman who was banging a soldier who got left behind while fleeing and is being assaulted/raped/soon to be executed by cyberOfficer. It's about power not genitalia.

Anyways, heroine betrays peace and native dudes and steals old mech and stomps the camp to save the soldier husbando, killing her friends Boyfriend that she didn't know about in the process who was actually helping her husbando escape. Cue revelation the violence makes things worse as her mech breaks down because old and she gets captured now too.

As they prepare for her execution the next morning, what rises isn't the sun but the fusion thrusters of a planetary landing craft coming in from orbit. END SEASON.

You are a camp cook for the military specializing in raising morale and we're originally considered to be a manipulation genius who was going to become a Commissar, but were kicked out of the Officers Academy for your peaceful views and your low combat scores. Your job is to create healthy meals for the platoons that keep the grunts happy while dealing with limited supplies and the possible dangers of war.

Occasionally, depending on what you cook and who supports and notices you in the army, you'll have to go on special scavenging missions behind enemy lines for supplies, or convince the officers in charge to change their plans so that a squad special to you survives and use your cooking skills to get their attention, or dealing wit the experimental divisions new cooking mech that monitors your cooking and lets you multitasking with its independent intelligent integrating circuits or its "Third Eye" - totally not a possible robo--kitchen-waifu here guys.

You and your party will have to work together to level up your cooking skills mixing specialization with basics so that you ca cover if someone is burned or sick etc.

Giant mecha battles are pretty much sports events, except the loser has to give over resources/territory/money/debt whatever.

The focus is on Cold War spying and sabotage. The main characters are to mentally break down, blackmail, or murder the mecha pilots - or the hundreds of ground crew - so that their nation starts coming out on top in the competitions.

At the same time, mobs keep rioting and going mad every time their mech loses, and there is a growing sentiment to get rid of these mecha battles.

> My little Mechas can't be this cute!

In order to indoctrinate children to go to war, the upper-middle classes and higher participate in Mecha Brawls during high school using miniature versions the size of 12 year olds. To make them more appealing, they've deliberately made them look like kids and popular personality Sims are highly sought after with famous people occasionally doing limited edition recordings.

The PC has managed to get one of his favourite idol, but instead of just the stock responses and poses it claims that it's actually able to think! Sadly, this seems to have come at the cost of hehe usual combat programming - and you have a match that will decide if you are expelled from school or not coming up! Future country that is Not-Venice gets attacked by an evil consortium of mercinary companies hoping to exploit the countries small size and neutral posture and subsiquent complete lack of allies to set up a puppet state and create a financial pipline to failed states & despots like the International Monetary Fund.

PC Mobile Suits are generally quite weak compared to the Mercs, but have the advantage of being amphibious, leading to the need of clever manuver warfare and looting of Mercs gear. Mercs tend to have highly specialised and upgraded weapons from the private sector.
Not-Venice suits tend to be smaller too, so this makes them slightly harder to hit. Standard armament is a bullpup missile launcher which can fire both underwater and on land. Standard equipment includes large flippers on legs for motion in water, which retract inside the feet, also hand held propeller propulsion units and emergency pilot ejection systems, because the good guys have so few veteran pilots. This leads to some quite tence situations as you have to exfiltrate the battlezone without your suit and the Mercs are looking for you.

An essential metal for mecha production has been mined into oblivion. Mechas can no longer be produced, so while the fighting DOES continue, it slowly dissolves into a Cold War with clandestine skirmishes as it seems like each mecha is now essentially priceless. This also puts immense strain on the pilots to minimize damage even to the point of choosing retreat over the objective.

Four mecha pilots must rescue a highly advanced prototype AI mecha from an alien relic it was based off of.
One protagonist's mecha is heavily armored, and has absurd strength and durability - though it doesn't have ranged capabilities or recovery.
Another is lighter, and can disable targets of opportunity with its invisibility matrix and EMP gun, but goes down after a solid hit and can't fight an enemy straight on.
A third has regenerating missiles (incendiary and shrapnel), and a short-term hacking device, but is similarly fragile and needs to replenish its stock occasionally.
The final one has some armor, but more importantly can enhance and repair itself and the other robots through drones that get airdropped in at specified times (or in emergencies, when a distress signal is sent to Mission Control).
The entire world hinges on F.I.G.H.T.E.R., R.O.G.U.E., W.I.Z.A.R.D., and C.L.E.R.I.C. saving P.R.I.N.C.E.S.S. from the D.R.A.G.O.N.

Only after the war has ruined so much of the system's economy does the stranglehold of the setting equivalents to Anaheim and Zeonic finally loosen its grip in the most distant outer colonies.

Armed with a resurgence of non-bipedal research and development, weapons and systems once claimed impossible to mount anywhere but 20m+ tall bipedal robots are now yours to wield in exotic new descendants to what once were mere fighters, jeeps and tanks. Mecha remain, of course, but now as heavy powered exo-suits, devastating the oldstyle infantry.

Across the inner system, lawyers maneuver and politicians flank, shielding or damning those who controlled the military industrial complex of *every side of every conflict* for well over a century. The inner circle of these greatest megacorps are surely preparing their escape, for the funds and most cutting technological edges remain theirs, and rumors abound of prototype mecha which could bring them all beyond the veil of stars. The darkest, most tinfoil hat of them speak even of early success, and possible allies beyond our lonely skies.

Find them. Capture them. Let them answer for the greatest wars before they can strand humanity around its single sun.

I would think that this kind of situation would mean that every single mecha gets dedicated battlefield support in the form of more mundane forces. Entire squads of tanks to screen for ambushes, battlefield engineers to make emergency repairs or attempt immediate retrieval of downed units, and dedicated squads of infantry to bog down the ground around the mech and prevent any kind of sabotage when the unit stops for any reason.

Our new mecha have no AI and therefore cannot go rogue but are extremely sluggish by comparison.

The game I'm running is very generic and is about the misadventures of a team of Federation pilots during the OYW, testing out prototype mobile suits that quickly grow obsolete and constantly get upgraded. Very general misadventures and short quests that have some recurring themes of teamwork and overcoming impossible odds, as well as recurring team of rival mobile suit pilots.

I've been working with a shitty reskinned 5e dnd game when in mobile suits with no classes and tons of traits. When the players are on foot, I've been using something more akin to star wars d20. I mashed them together in a sort of frankenstein's monster of a homebrew.

Look friend, my group has a much easier time with d&d type systems. They're more used to it and whenever I try to introduce something new to them they have trouble. I don't understand it much either, but I'm adapting to what they like.
>>
>>46300635
Oh I see, you've got one of those Sunk Cost groups.

See, d20, being a complete mess of a system, takes a lot of time and effort to actually learn and new groups who start on it tend to think this applies to all RPGs and either don't want to be bothered to learn other games (after all, D&D is like the easiest one right? (Wrong)) and/or feel like all that time and effort would have been wasted if they tried learning other systems. So when presented with a new game, their brains shut off and they go into full retard mode in some kind of childish defense mechanism. "Let's just play the one game we learned first."

That's unfortunate.
>>
>>46300787
It's really unfortunate. It took me forever to explain why you want to roll low in GURPS.

"If you want to roll low don't you want your stat to be low too?"

Don't even get me started on the nightmare that was the point system. They still cannot figure out how skill learning difficulties work.

Basically, they like to roll d20s, add a modifier and a proficiency bonus, and try to meet a target number.
>>
>>46300882
Do you think they could handle roll a couple of d6s, pick the highest one, add a modifier, and try to meet a target number?

Or roll a d10, add a two modifiers, and try to meet a target number?
>>
>>46300882
>>46300948
Or roll a d% and compare it to a number on their character sheet?

Actually scratch that one, your group sounds to stupid to figure out how a d% even works, and might have a nervous breakdown at seeing skills represented as percentages.
>>
>>46285465
>they also stole your coffee machine.
Fuck it burn down all their villages, salt their fields, rape their women. Rules of war are out the door.
>>
>>46300948
>>46301032
The d% could work because we stumbled our way through a game of Call of Cthulu, but when they get penalties or bonuses to their rolls things start to fall apart.

They could certainly handle rolling d6s and d10s if there's a target number.
>>
>>46301074
BRP Mecha is the same system as Call of Cthulhu, but with mecha and geared towards being less deadly and (obviously) less horror.

Roll d6s, pick the highest, add a mod, compare to a target is Silhouette. You'll probably want either Silhouette 2e (As represented in Heavy Gear 2e and Jovian Chronicles 1e), or SilCore and ignore the "Skill Complexity" rating entirely. I'd also advise treating mech combat like character combat (scrapping the wargame rules), and ignoring the space combat rules (if using JC) and just treat it the same as aerial combat. Also build the mechs for the PCs, ignore calculating TVs.

d10s is Mekton Zeta. Roll d10, add stat, add skill, compare to target or opposed roll. Again, I'd advise building the mecha for the PCs in advance.
>>
>>46286498
Isn't that literally spec ops the line?
>>
>>46301180
Wouldn't rolling two d6s and picking the highest one AND adding a modifier make success too easy for people with training, or impossible for people without (target numbers higher than they can naturally roll)? The system sounds interesting though.

Anywhere I could get ahold of any of these systems?

The word of the day is teleportation. With a nigh infinite amount of practical uses for the military, true teleportation is being worked on by seemingly everybody. However, as of yet, nobody's managed to make it work, only being able to put together hyperspace travel and stuff like that.

You're on the other side of the universe from a war when a robot from one of the factions crashes into your group's base/home/ship. It is equipped with teleportation technology and lacking a pilot.
What's your plan?
>>
>>46301413
>Wouldn't rolling two d6s and picking the highest one AND adding a modifier make success too easy for people with training, or impossible for people without (target numbers higher than they can naturally roll)?
Nope. The target numbers are very tight. And you actually roll a number of d6s based on your skill, pick the highest die, then add your ability modifier to the roll.
Having a +2 ability modifier is VERY good, and the average is 0. Plus the system is more Margin of Success based so you always want to roll as high as possible.
Actually, the die rolls themselves matter less in the system than milking situational modifiers, so combat is VERY tactical if you don't have a death wish.

You can find most of the Heavy Gear and Jovian Chronicles silhouette lines here, sorry it's not that well organized, I didn't make it: http://www.4shared.com/folder/2uh5l2xm/Heavy_Gear_Jovian_Chronicles_S.html

Depends.

Heavy Gear is Armored Troopers VOTOMS set in the far off future on a far away (mostly) desert planet that was colonized by humans and lost contact with Earth nearly two thousand years before the "current" time.

Jovian Chronicles is just straight up UC Gundam with the serial numbers filed off, and most of the solar system from Mercury to Jupiter colonized with the Earth Federation expy being the Jupiter colonies and the Zeon expy being an alliance than controls most of Earth and the surrounding colonies.

They both use the same system, so it's more which flavor of giant robots do you prefer.

Your party is a wetworks team tasked with stealing as many suits as possible from the Zeeks before Operation Odessa begins in earnest. This has the dual benefit of robbing the spacers of their most powerful weapons as well as creating more research opportunities as rare spare parts can be more easily accessed. You can use the first few heists to build up your team and add a roster of suits they can potentially pilot. The kicker comes at the start of the operation. Throughout the early rounds, any Newtype players can pass an easy perception (or similar) test to get a 'bad feeling' about what's going on in the base. This comes full bore when it turns out that a Carrie-grade Newtype is being experimented on in the base. It goes full MGS:V on a number of suits after the battle breaks its confines. If your team can't stop it, it won't matter if the Federation takes the base.

A group of rag-tag kids and orphans manage to overwhelm a mook-mech that got stuck via technical issues, and they need to press what little advantage they have into gaining power, joining an army, and changing the way the world wars.

That was it's point bruh. You had the option to walk away and so did Walker. But no, you were getting your money's worth just like Walker was fulfilling his duty and now both of you have to suffer.

Besides, it usually depends more on how the GM plays it. A battle in the city between mechs is going to leave a lot of people dead and more homeless. Being clean and efficient will probably bring in the secret police on the populace.

Heck, it's WAR. You are killing people because someone told you that you could, you monster.

That's not something modern terrorists worry about. I don't see why they wouldn't try it in a fantastical roleplaying game.

No, he's killing because someone told him that he SHOULD. If that's better or worse, i don't know.

Ever since the Originals fell from the stars 75 years ago, they have been mimicked, reverse engineered and mass produced for countless reasons. We considered them a gift: a stroke of good fortune.
Then the Originals woke up.

No, Spec Ops: The Line was badly executed in that you were forced into doing all those reprehensible actions because they were the only way of advancing the story. In this case, the MC wouldn't realize what he's doing until he's gone too far.

I know this is a late post, but I just want to say that "warcrimes ensue" is what I expected the stereotypical gamer group to do. The group can do it without stooping to vile acts, and it's on the GM to make it fun for everyone regardless of what the players do.

I wonder sometimes.
they're invested more in storytelling than rules and I need to "get them started" on their turns.

every fight I have to remind one of them to put down their damage dice and pick up a d20 to see if they can land the attack first.

when it comes to d%, in particular automatic weapons increasing accuracy in call of Cthulu, they get so annoyed and confused that once they've finished their turn they drop their tommy gun and pull out their knife just because they don't want to calculate minimal differences again.

The ENEMY has started using DRONE PILOTED MECHA, Mechas run entirely by super-advanced combat AI. Your Economy has crashed, and human piloted mechs have no hope against DRONE Mechs.
There is only one hope: a DANGEROUS new group of POST HUMAN SUPER SOLDIERS, power armored infantry capable of defeating the Mechs by themselves. But are these warriors too deadly? Will they save mankind... or destroy it?!

G Gundam- the Dark Gundam lives, and it seeks revenge!
Humanity is confronted by the appearance of a new set of drone Gundams, offspring of the Dark Gundam, who seek to wipe humanity from the face of the Earth, as the Dark Gundam itself did long ago.
Their minds are human- and in a mockery of life, templated after the (theoretical rather than actual) offspring of Domon Kasshu and Rain Mikamura, who are projected to be the best Core Life Units for the Ultimate Gundam's 'children'.

Rogue colony full of tech experiments that breach international treaty terms goes ballistic. What ever it was, it caused some of the top programers to hack some suits remotely.

A gun goes off, hits a delegate from a different country, about to be an all out war. Your country owns the secret base on faraway planet, and your task is to wipe it out before inquiries lead to it. This must be done before cold war turns to molten planet.

So players have to traverse from space station to station, planet to planet with colonies to fuel up/ get supplies and ammo, mechupgrades, ect. Merc groups, other country gundams, space pirates, and just general space hazards along the way.

On the planet, players will find the base. Turns out the have alien contact, transmission from them drove the researchers insane, one guy got a shot off back at home as a beacon for help. Alien tech mixed with human tech (I know you said hard mode but fuck that) creates some rough alien gundams and out of control A.I. Players either gotta suicide mission, or depending on if they are smart, get some help from friends made along the way.

Would you guys play this?

Two factions; The Terran Republic and the Conglomerate of Free Worlds, have been at an uneasy peace with one another for many decades. However, the drums of war have started beating again, as the Terran Republic launches attacks against the Conglomerate to retake the planets they lost in the past war. The Terran Republic has strength of numbers, with a seemingly endless number of brutal, but primitive mechs and near fanatical devotion. The Conglomerate of Free Planets has vastly superior technology, with powerful mechs and equipment...

The players are a band of mercenaries who have to pick which side to fight for in this potentially planet destroying war.

However, after a few missions, the players may find some evidence of an unknown third party subtly pulling the strings of these two super powers. Will they find out who it is? Do the players even care as long as they get paid?

Fantasy world; the sky is an immense woven basket; the stars are holes in the basket opening up onto elemental chaos. You begin in the ruins of a convoy of ships wrecked on a planet by pirates. The primary cargo of the ships are mecha and munitions. You are only basically familiar with the controls for such weapons and must fight the pirates who have come to salvage whatever booty they can.

Story arc - the planet is large, desolate, uninhabited but habitable. Somehow you must escape the planet using only that which fell from the sky when you first crashed. Other people have also survived. Some also know the art of mech piloting.

You and your friends are all goblins in the DarkLord's horde, forced to pilot the mish-mash steam/magitek tanks designed by an insane dwarf. And fuck you they are prototypes. The remnants of humanity hate and despise you but have no choice but to turn to your evil master as the lesser of two evils and the ever growing Elvish Empire goes full jihad/genocide on the "lesser" races. You now must stop the knife-ear's tide in its tracks and retake the pinkies lands. No one has used tanks before; your commander has no clue what the fuck to do with them half the time; you are underfed; you just want to go back to the den, eat some food, and fuck something.

The neighboring land has accidentally seen a super prototype that was never meant to be militarized fall into the hands of a hot-blooded youth who's decided to seek justice for a battle his country lost three hundred years ago. Prototype pilot. Genetically engineered to be the perfect mecha pilot.

She got kidnapped by a group of mercenaries that were going to sell her to whichever faction was the highest bidder, as one does with prototypes. But she grabbed a mech and busted out, because she's a genetically engineered perfect warrior and this was a stupid plan.

Now nobody knows where the fuck she is. All the factions are scrambling to make contact and get her on their side. Your party is your particular faction's team of ace pilots trying to get there first.

Also, if you find her, she understands that violence is sometimes necessary but still thinks war is stupid. So good luck with that.
