It wasn't brought up again because it's not relevant to the story For all intents and purposes, she's just a CN rogue that happens to like women. Fuck, she's a fucking air pirate too. It's part of the flamboyantness of the job.
Progressive web comic artists could actually learn a lot from Rich Burlew about how to work that stuff into their comic without coming off like a prat. It's like he's one of the few that actually bothers to come up with a way to make it fit instead of just forcing it in.
