In Eberron, most of the gnolls have forsaken demon worship in favor of nature gods.
In /tg/, there are a lot of different variations. Gnolls in my setting are closely related to the not-medieval-Catholic-church and worship the same god as the humans, though a different aspect- one of vengeance and inflexible judgement, rather than one of truth and salvation. Though the church was suspicious at first, they changed their tune once some newborn gnolls started to exhibit divine abilities associated with their god.
The church, normally racist as fuck, doesn't really complain, because what crusading nation DOESN'T want to have a gnoll army. In time, this association changes both the gnolls and church for the better, the gnolls becoming less murdercrazy and the church more tolerant of other races.
