I'm thinking of Running a Game set in the MK universe, playing off the events of MK X, but I dont want to justa ssume Mutants and Masterminds as my system, I'm open to suggestions both story and system wise

I've been thinking about running a mortal kombat inspired game myself recently, but sadly my group seems unwilling to leave our normal systems (pathfinder/5e/WoD every once in a while) behind. So it's mostly just a pipe dream
