Let's roll up some Empire knights /tg/. I feel like writing something for 1d4chan.
What is the order’s age? (1d100)
Rolled 5 (1d100)
>>46075430
Primordial: This order dates back to the founding days of the Empire, when the concepts of knighthood and nobility were still new amongst the race of Men. The fathers and grandfathers of these earliest knights may have even fought alongside Sigmar Unberogen himself
We're old as hell!
Now, what god do we follow? (1d100)
Rolled 20 (1d100)
>>46075472
>>46075498
Secular Order: This order pledges itself to no god in particular, and its members can worship as they please
Donning the fedora-shaped helm.
How many knights do we have (1d100)?
Rolled 5 (1d10)
>>46075521
>>46075569
Knigga that's a d10.
Rolled 26 (1d100)

Who needs any other knightly orders when you have these?
>>46075587
Small: Around a hundred knights, with both personal and order-retained servants
How is the order’s strength distributed throughout the Empire? (1d100)
>>46075599
Pic related
Rolled 59 (1d100)
>>46075612
>>46077388
Will OP ever respond ?
>>46077388
>>46078293
No, I left.
Urban: The order’s chapterhouses are all located in one or more of the Empire’s major cities. This often means that the order’s leaders are more involved in power struggles and politicking
What province we come from? (1d100) (they're all 1d100)
Rolled 64 (1d100)
>>46078547
>>46078597
We come from the outskirts of Nuln aka. Wissenland.
What's our favorite virtue (kind of a weird question but ok)?
Rolled 69, 23, 39, 51, 79, 9, 56, 20, 25, 5 = 376 (10d100)
>>46078547
HERE'S A BUNCH OF ROLLS FOR YOU
>>46078628
Our favorite virtue us AWESOME
>>46078631
I'll would have used the 69, but it would have forced you to reroll anyway. So roll again please.
Rolled 36 (1d100)
>>46078704
>>46078725
Merit: A true knight learns to hold a book in one hand and a sword in the other. You can never expect to discharge your duties without constantly honing your skills
Alright. So we're... competent?
What way of fighting are we the best at?
Rolled 64 (1d100)
>>46078769
CQC!
>>46078799
Steel Curtain: Many see the sheer weight of full plate armor as a hindrance, but what they forget is that an armored man is also much harder to displace. These knights use their impressive mass for defensive purposes, as well as to push the enemy around the field
Ok. Who was our greatest hero?
Rolled 38 (1d100)
>>46078840
>>46078869
A grandmaster of the order whose strength and sound council proved a saving grace for his allies in their hour of need
Damn, I was hoping for the peasant.
Where did we go?
Rolled 86 (1d100)
>>46078910
>>46078920
The order has ventured to the colonies in far Lustria, and seen all the terrors it has to offer
We met the lizards. That's pretty cool. Maybe we can have some fancy shit from there on our armor.
Who is our most trusted ally?
>>46078920
We went to far Lustria, and saw all kinds of terrors in those jungles.
Roll for ally!
Rolled 2 (1d100)
>>46078955
>>46078956
Engineers! Always need good engineers.
>>46078956
Who the fuck are you?
>>46078970
One of the Electors (but not Karl Franz)
Aw yeah. Nuln's countess is super powerful.
Who is our worst enemy?
Rolled 3 (1d100)
>>46079029
>>46079240
A local herd of Beastmen. Thank Sigmar it's not anybody too tough.
To whom, or what, has the order’s grandmaster pledged its service?
Rolled 76 (1d100)
>>46079323
>>46079481
A particular cause, mission, or oath
How does everyone else see us?
Rolled 16 (1d100)
>>46079536
>>46079624
oldier’s Grace: The knights are not particularly concerned with showing themselves off. They beat humble marches, and sing whatever tunes they feel like
I wouldn't have it any other way.
How wealthy is the order?
Rolled 59 (1d100)
>>46079684
>>46079783
Well-to-Do: Nearly all Empire knights are sons of the nobility. This means that most of them are going to have a respectable amount of cash or valuables at their disposal
How many of us get demigryphs?
Rolled 69 (1d100)
>>46079969
rollin'
Rolled 33 (1d100)
>>46080261
>>46080237
Present: Many of the inner circle’s knights ride monstrous mounts
What's our best piece of treasure?
Rolled 1 (1d10)
>>46080287
Rollin'
Rolled 71 (1d100)
>>46080390
whoops
>>46080405
An intricately sealed reliquary said to house “the very spirit of the order”
It's a box with something special inside, apparently.
This is the last roll now: What is our sigil?
Rolled 19 (1d100)
>>46080450
fingers crossed for something cool
>>46080505
The Laureled Skull represents glory without pride and the will to die for one’s cause
And that's' it. Anyone have any ideas for a name?
>>46080531
The Knights of Osbar
The Iron Skulls
The Company
The Order of Meritous Chivalry
>>46080531
hmm, it might be useful to decide what cause/mission/oath we're dedicated to.
>>46080531
Der Ritter von Altenteutonen
(The Knights of Old Teutonia)
Since our Order has gone to Lustria and probs said hi to the lizardmen + our thing is the laurelled skull. It reminds me of the coins in Pirates of the Caribbean
>>46080531
The Order of the Burnished Shield
>>46080715
Correct would be:
>Die Ritter Altdeutschlands
Alternatively, this would be of comparable meaning:
>Die altehrwürdigen Deutschritter
>>46080863
The Empire doesn't really use real German though, does it? Like how the Imperium uses ballsed up Latin
>>46080863
I have only an elementary understanding of German, lol. But, I wanted to make their name an allusion to the Teutonic order, so let's make it:
>Die Ritter Altteutonen
>>46080677
>The Knights of Osbar
I like that. Osbar can be an ancient elector count of Wissenland (since our order is so old).
>>46080695
Our worst enemy is Beastmen so we could make it something about them.
>>46080929
The problem is the word 'teutonic', as, in german, that word just doesn't exist like that. Furthermore, the Teutonic Order(German Order), at least when talking about the real-life one, is in german called 'Deutscher Orden'/'Der Deutschritterorden'. I wouldn't go for the combination of a german name with 'teutonic'.
I'd suggest using
>Die Ritter des alten Germaniens
instead, as it conveys the same meaning without having the 'deutsch' in there if you don't want it.
>>46080892
I really wouldn't know, I just browsed and found this thread, I didn't even really register the Empire in OP's post, only after reading through it did I get that he was creating a knight order based on an already existing setting. I guess this is 40k?
>>46081111
>I guess this is 40k?
This is the Warhammer fantasy counterpart to 40k which GW killed.
>>46080946
I also like that name.
>>46081111
Warhammer Fantasy
>>46081111
No, Warhammer Fantasy. Its the Medieval Europe to 40k's Space Empire
>>46080531
The order of the ancient Ass dicks
>>46080929
>>46081068
Uh, scratch that, actually the Teutonen do exist as in a germanic tribe in the antique.please don't yell at me
So, it could be
>Die altteutonischen Ritter
>>46081144
>>46081157
>>46081164
Oh, that. Thanks for the info!
