Our history is plagued with misfortune and desperation. If all other factors were stable, we would normally maintain 800 line brothers.
D100 for apothecarion practices
D100 for warmongering
Rolled 92, 85 = 177 (2d100)
Dear God
Despite our poverty and misfortune we maintain overly stringent recruiting standards and prosecute wars more aggressively than the vast majority of chapters. These practices keep our numbers dangerously low but have showered us in glory and honour.
+20 purity
+10 glory
Typical strength: 500 line marines.
4d100 glory
d100 purity
Rolled 56, 25, 36, 85, 83 = 285 (5d100)
3 allies
1 major enemy
2 living legends
5 relics
we barely scrape by without mutation because of our stringent culturing practices.
4d100 for allies and enemies
5d5 and 5d10 for relics.
Rolled 4, 44, 76, 47 = 171 (4d100)

What table are you using OP?
>>46072320
A space marine chapter owes us a blood debt. The astra militarum of a specific planet would take severe risks to help us. We have significant ties to a branch of the inquisition.
A major warband of chaos space marines will take risks to hurt us.
SM D100 for primogenotor
][ D10 for ordo
CSM D10 for devotion.

One I wrote for a homebrew 40k RPG loosely based on the tabletop.
The game is better than the table but the table has had its moments.
Rolled 90 (1d100)

"Ultramarines" Definitely not anything else. Definitely. Specialize in orbital assault. Favor danger close lance strikes and major orbital bombardment. Incredibly curious temperament.
Rolled 9, 5 = 14 (2d10)
>>46072722
Ordo Xenos and Chaos undivided Black Legion.
Rolled 3, 2, 2, 1, 2 + 5 = 15 (5d5 + 5)
Rolled 1, 2, 4, 1, 3 = 11 (5d10)
All of our relics were minor (1 minor special ability)
1 set of armour, 3 weapons, and 1 vehicle.
Any ideas?
The only things left to roll for are
d10 for codex compliance
d10 for preferred warfare style
Everything else is chosen.
Rolled 10, 6 = 16 (2d10)
Hmm. We are masters of orbital assault and are space wolf levels of codex non-compliant.
In summary
we have 500 line marines due to our aggression, stringent recruiting, and lack of resources/ general misfortune.
We are the sons of Guilliman through and through. Our glorious service have secured the gratitude and debt of many thousands of imperial guard regiments, the Ordo Xenos, and another chapter of space marines. A major Black Legion warband will do anything to see us dead.
Despite being Ultramarines we have discarded many of the dictates of the Codex Astartes in furtherance of our specialization of orbital assault.
Things left to do:
Colours
Symbol
Chapter Cult
Name
2 living legends (figures like Cato and Pedro)
3 minor armour relics
1 minor weapon relic
1 minor vehicle relic
3 advantages (doubling a certain type of wargear or specialist i.e. White Scars and Bikes, Imperial fists and Centurions, DA and terminator armour, Blood Ravens and Librarians)
up to 3 Neutral shifts (changing formations or changing specialist roles. i.e 20 man squads, techmarines or librarians as standard unit leaders, training librarians as apothecaries. Vets in Centurion suits)
2 disadvantages (losing all/almost all of a wargear type or specialist. i.e. no librarians/chaplains or no terminator armour/medium tanks/medium transports/bikes.)
>>46073976
Two skills we specialize in (command, tactics, operate: surface, tech use, etc.)
Two attributes we favor based on recruiting process and homeworld (Strength, willpower, toughness, agility, intelligence, skill with gun or blade, etc.)
