There was that werewolf hunter who ascended and almost immediately upon returning to innistrad garruk killed him. Being on that plane and not being strong enough to survive sorin or garruk is suicide, she also would get slammed by quite a few walkers we know about and avecyn was unkillably strong. the angel problem is nothing like fighting vampires. Also killing real angels curses you in magic.
