Hello fellow fa/tg/uys, it's time to open a sealed tournament deck. Only going to open one tonight, I'll be back this weekend to open the other two.
So group vote to pick which one I open tonight. 1 is the far left deck. 2 is the middle deck. 3 is the far right. First deck to receive 2 votes will be opened. Cause, we got to get this donkey show on the road here.
Each deck contains 3 rares, 10 uncommons, and twenty something each of commons and lands. I don't remember the exact ratio. Foils are randomly inserted along with a rules text, and a pro player card. I'll post pictures throughout the opening.

cheeky cunt
hope you get a fulminator
Contents of the box. These always smell super heavily of ink. Like a pungent wet newspaper.
The guts. We have a foil I think! There is one slightly curved card on the back of the lands (where they put the foils).
Rules text closeup.
FNM commercial on the back.
Pro card. Kind of a boring pose compared to some of the others!
And the stats.
Now for the cards!
30 basic lands. I figured it out! There's 30 of them.

Saito actually got banned for slow play and was stripped of all his pro points iirc, so when he came back he had to start all over again. He was set to be in the hof that year too.
And the foil is...a swamp!
It looks terrible at first glance.
But the foil effect is pretty neato!

Wait, you can actually get banned for slow play? Did he get like 25 warnings first? And wouldn't you maybe stop when you started to get game losses?
Commons of 'value'.
And cards that are probably terrible, but I'd still try to play in EDH anyways.
Awww yeah

Steel of the Godhead is a sweet card.
The uncommons. Would for sure play everything in the bottom row.
Holy shit, I did it guys!

you better thank me for this >>46041805
Other 2 rares are pretty uneventful. But at $34.99 plus tax for this deck, we more than paid for it. Woot!
I do kind of want to make a giant EDH deck though, so I would probably try to play the furystoke giant too.

Not slow play, deliberate stalling.
It's a lot more serious when you're doing it intentionally and escalates quickly.

Haha, thanks for the good karma!
The goods.
Thanks for reading!

Honestly i think it was a little fucked up, they didn't ever get a game loss or a dq for doing it, they just straight up banned him.

If I remember the story correctly, he spent a lot of time getting his game losses reduced to cautions. Thereby wasting even MORE time.
