It literally doesn't. Quicken only works on sorceries, this card is an instant.

if you meant 'you can cast your next sorcery as if it were an instant means I can cast ~ as if it were an instant too, that also doesn't work. Same reason you can't play cards sorceries at instant speed if your opponent has Teferi on board, even if you have a Hypersonic Dragon

There are several different MtG card generating RNNs at the moment.
They're owners are (mostly) showing off their better cards, but the generating tons of them.
If you're interested in bulk, someone posted software and instructions for it somewhere?
But it will take quite a while for you RNN to have learned enough to make decent cards.

I don't know much about Magic's color pie theory, but I don't think you're allowed to just pick and choose your favorite attributes from each color and mash them together any which way. Each two-color and three-color combination has a defined set of abilities separate from the individual colors.

Like, mono black has some good card draw and mono white has some good flyers. I don't think you're allowed to mash up those two into a WB angel which cantrips. WB is the domain of life drain, tokens, sacrifice, protection, and exile. I can't recall any WB cards which straight-up draw cards.
>>
>>46042447
Maybe they wanted more UR cards or something?
You have to admit, while it COULD fit BR, it fits wonderfully into UR, and they might have had a larger number of BR than UR and wanted some more UR for the cube or something.

>>46043114

Alliances was a weird set, man.
>>
>>46043304
It's not that they couldn't do it with WB, it's that they usually want to be doing other stuff with WB in their limited mulitcolored slots (in anything but a heavy multicolored set) combined with UG and UB usually eating the Draw Cards first
And even in the heavy multicolor sets the colors are usually set up as some sort of faction of some sort, which pushes them to support THAT instead of general stuff.
And black doesn't get straight up card draw - it's always at a price. Life, permanents, other people's suffering, Black does not get straight out 'draw a card'
>>
>>46043304
You mean like Conjurer's Ban or Triad of Fates?

The only thing a multi-color card has to do over a mono-colored one is have an aspect of each, and even that has exceptions.

>>
>>46043371
I already acknowledged that mono black (and more specifically, UB) has good card, see the first sentence of my second paragraph. What I'm saying is that you can't take any attribute that one color has and put it into any two-color combination (in this case, WB).

I did a quick Gatherer search and found 2 WB cards which feature card draw: Conjurer's Ban and Triad of Fates. The first is a cantrip, which I believe Maro said every color gets, and the second has card draw as a downside because you're supposed to use it on your opponent's creatures.

To be fair they might also have changed the color to help settle the cube's color balance.

>Attempt to unscramble:

Horshers [Horseshit][Horseshoes] (Whenever a creature you played from your hand is put into a graveyard, this card deals 6 damage to target creature or player. Only activate this ability if that creature could block any number of creatures in play that share a color with any mana you could produce for each artifact in play.

This means that in a game with 3 artifacts in play, the buried creature should be able to block 3 creatures from an opponent that share color(s) with your deck in order to deliver the damage.

In a green blue deck with a sideboard heavy with artifact destruction this card would be OP.
>>
>>46030385
Thats actually really cool
>>
>>46042760
casting/exiling things from the graveyard is distinctly different from caring about how much of something is in the graveyard.

>>46043098
See above; Umezawa casts a spell from the graveyard, which is in black's color pie, but that's a different effect than what's being discussed. Past in Flames and Charmbreaker devils aren't relevant to the discussion because Red being appropriate isn't being argued.

Essentially, it's similar to Lhurgoyf effects, and precedent shows that the effect should be U/R; Cognivore cares about instants and is blue, Magnivore cares about Sorceries and is Red. Spellheart Chimera provides further precedent.

Typically, WotC splits instants and sorceries between blue and red; Blue gets effects that care about Instants, Red gets effects that care about Sorceries. They aren't always consistent with this, as it's frequently easier to just lump them together, but they do it frequently enough that it's worth taking into consideration.

I'm not arguing that it's completely off-color for Black, I'm arguing that the specific focus on card types typically associated with Blue and Red makes U/R a better fit than B/R.

I don't think any cards have a static effect that switches them - though I'm probably wrong, there sure are a ton of cards - because any instants that do it wouldn't work. I think it's more notable and usable for getting a lot of etb and dies triggers. Stuff like Blood Artist would love it for instance.
