The races of men, elf, dwarf, and orc were breathed life unto themselves, the thrived and grew as the land and each other caused them to split into different varieties of each race. For good measure you created the Angel and Demon and set them a religion connected directly to you as they worship two sides of the same coin. You decided to throw in a few other races to experiment with to see what would happen. The races loved, feared, and revered their gods as it allowed you to meddle in their affairs more frequently.
You were quite pleased with the results to say the least as you felt your little birdies could survive on their own for a little while you left them to themselves and interacted only religiously.

With a small aspect of your being, you used to whisper all sorts of truths, lies, and overall gibberish into the ears of orcs and demons which was quite fun as you chuckle to yourself.
With your aspects as their God's you let them give the mortals a small bit of their strength so long as it was not against each other to which they thanked you.
With the monsterfolk formed from animals you set forth soon after your first generation of races inhabit the world. They got along only with the sons of man surprisingly enough and were really looked down upon by the rest and dwarves came a close second treating them as second class citizens.
You made the orcs quite the civil folk as they philosophize in their hill and mountain homes and fortresses being quite the scholar's. Goblins work alongside their orcish brethren in their debates about the world.
To keep your little deities in check you crafted the spirit's to make sure they would never war with each other and proved perfectly capable in their task. As a reward you gave them elementals as a token of their service and loyalty as they interact with the other races. The tricky Fae in their wood trick the other races in their trivial games.

Some time after the people's have settled into their own dominion's you created the sky isle's to which many airborne races called home, leaving up to their discretion whether to allow the land bound to come to the sky lands.

The monster folk females were oddly aggressive in their prejudice toward each other and tried to assert dominance over each other as the better race.
For whatever reason a giant head threatens the destruction of the world and was promptly named "Greg", why? Don't ask, he's more annoying than dangerous really and man he can talk.
In the event the gods ever warred against each other a quad of golems could be used by a child using his own mother's soul to stop them, although at a terrible cost.
