"Carry on."

To be honest I'm not sure if even an ordo malleus interrogator would know the names of individual chaos gods.

Ahw. We are still s-sitting on a pile of d-dead cultists, give us a break.

The Uncle does and he don't mess around. Ain't gonna send his niece in blind. His brother would mess 'im up m9.

No rest for the righteous I'm afraid.

Talkie Toaster still scares me man. Even more when he's insane....

The old one of course, we need to keep up the illusion. Can't do that if my 'sister' disappears on me, can we?

Actually there might be, trooper, do you have any idea of the situation after we defeated the sorceress? Any interesting reports or anything you might have seen through that scope that could be of interest?
>>
>>45721568
Most of the Valkyrie crews are fine but the Drop Troops took around 15% casualties and around 70% casualties for the Auxiliaries, that one was much higher than expected. I'm gong to have to look for more troops soon.

You two can take the day free if you want to, as long as you don't get us discovered out there and don't expose yourselves as members of the guard or the inquisition, hell you might even find some valuable info if you explore the hive city on your own. Just... don't trust anyone out there if you do, and-

>>45722112
I do not have any of this... Rum. but I do have a bottle of wine, from Quaddis. I hear they make excellent wine there, and if the cost tells anything, it must be. It would be a shame to drink it alone, so... Want a taste?

>>45722175
Can muck about with this one, sure. But I'd advise against touching the modernized one, Chirurgeon'll have your head if you muck about with the newest gear.

Very well, we'll be going to House Vandarr and putting on the Rogue Trader act again.

>grabbing it greedily he takes a long slow chug.

>>
>>45722214
G-good ahem, the V-Vandarrs are the lowest type of scum you can find in the highest of places. T-they'll easily fall to the act if we offer them something they can't simply deny getting their hands on... like somekind of technology or weaponry to get their competency out of the black market bussiness.
>>
>>45722189
>>45722163
>>45722150
Well... It seems like you three have more than enough alcoholic beverages already, so I will withdraw to the library. Maybe I should read more about daemonology for this mission...

It wouldn't be a very good contingency if I had to make it AFTER problems arose, now would it?

>>45722248
Ehh... Using these terms, the kind of daemons I should learn more about for this mission are "rapey".

I must insist I acompany you all on this mission, it''s been far too long since I throtled a daemonette.

They're the most numerous of all three major houses, they must have about 20 bastard sons dispersed around their cantinas and Arbites Ranks, aside from Lady Vandarr, her son Captain Vandarr and the sister of the last one, Miss Vandarr.

There used to be another sister too, my mother... I never managed to meet her... her death only made matters worse between my family and Vandarr.

I... don't know what to do.
I know you want to make an investigation about all three houses, that includes mine...

W-what if there's something that nobody should ever know? W-what if that dream you had...

>She shivers.

I feel so alone... so lost... my head tells me to leave this place, loose any ties to my family and never return, but my heart... and your lessons, tell me to try and normalize... to try and re-establish connection with my roots that saw me birth...
>>
>>45722884
Can you pick up your arm?
>relaxes a little
>*sighs*
You can't expect me to be calm when I worry about you, you know that right?
We all knew what we were in for when we signed up. Well some of what we we're in for at least.
>>
>>45722889
Central this is team 2. We were following some possible leads on information about House Vandarr.

We seem to have hit a dead-end. Like literally, there's like a 50 ft wall in front of us and we are probably, PROBABLY going in circles in the hab-blocks for hours now.

uhhh....

We're lost Central.
>>
>>45722932
I want you to to worry about me. More t'an you do.
I did not sign for t'is, I did not sign AT ALL. I 'ad no choice, not t'at you ever t'oug't of ASKING me.
>>
>>45722960
Well my choice was more of a sign this or be executed for heresy.

Lass....c'mere.
>Alice gestures for LIX to sit in her lap.
>Already she knows this won't be the -most- comfortable for herself.
How about you worry about being yourself and I'll worry about all the little details?
Us Guardsmen worry about things so the other people don't have to.

House Vandarr gon be fun y'all.
Also query for everyone: Wada/Sam was working on the Tau/'Nid side of the 'Nids fight, but if he can't return then what do we do?

Take up the mantle of the 'Nids/Tau ourselves and get it done, or just say "The Fleet will handle it" and move to other things?
>>
>>45722949
"Hrmh.....aside from the wall, are there any other landmarks nearby? We'll send a Valk or two to pick you up, but we need to find you first.

I... I prayed for guideness today...

But sometimes it feels so cold... so dark...
>She cuddles up to Alice.
But then you help me out of the darkness...

Once we're done with this Emperor's Forsaken planet, I am ready to take this relationship a step further, Alice... no more hiding it... no more being scared for claims of heresy... I am ready... to be with the person I want to be...

I'm cool with both options, wishing Wada manges to get back for it tho.
