Last time a wedding went down and a mishap during the honeymoon led to a very magical realm. Upon exiting the MCs found themselves deep in republic turf which they easily escaped.

Alas they have yet to fix the problem besides that one which occurred upon the exiting...

So until then research was done and money was made.

What do?

Have the spy and our spy network look for potential targets of opportunity we can look to in the near future. Republic, alien, or enemy places we can think about conquering down the line without sparking a major war.

Alright, last game we made a product and now we need to keep it safe. So we can get upgraded into a mega corp.

I say the CEO and Dervish the Broker should go about setting up deals and see if we can keep other corps from smearing the good's name.

Master Mind works to set up false copies of the brood machines. If someone tries to take it they will exploded into infestation bombs and damage them. If possible having the explosion waiting till the most targets will be hit.

Also we still need a name for the CEO's Corp.

Since we so WONDERFULLY have new Brood Chem Pods. . .I vote we call the corps:

"Hornet Megatechnology"

Because I thought that was a pretty damn cool name from teh last thread, and because we can make Brood Hornets down the line.
>>

>>45603454
Sorry about that had to take care of something...which took a lot longer then expected.

----
Deals were made mostly due to us being an ordinary corp and them not knowing the quality of our goods. If it wasn't for that and the skill of our negotiators it would of been doubtful.

Meanwhile the Brood has produced some false if explosive copies as requested.

All good.

Mastermind, CEO and spies work to improve the network. Move or make brood and other units as needed. We need to make sure we can counter anyone who may want to steal our goods. Use Corruption + 1 fatepoint to get people on the inside of main competitors if possible.

Broker work with Abi to get some contentions in the criminal and other evil faction with Black Cred. We could use some options when the time comes.

I feel we should improve our Brood-Network integration.

It is clear the Brood refuses to integrate with technology.

But perhaps we can invest in some broodified technicians who can use their knowledge and connection of the hivemind? Transmit coded radio signals and messages as well as personally telepathic hivemind bond.

Illegal actions of have been performed with the broodification of technicians. Typical for a corp especially a MEGA! Just make sure you don't get busted...or use copious amounts of bribery if you do.

Despite their help however you are still unable to make the brood uplink with our tech.

Corruption activated. It didn't work as well as the CEO would of liked given the situation but some people were flipped successfully.

Black Cred activated. Rep boosted with illegal factions.

Look for more stealthy camoflagued creatures in the Bio-Basket or the Alien Zoo.
>>

I would suggest going for the ruined world first. It may have artefacts and technology worth getting, and unlike the Independant Human World or the Outsider Rift may not be as heavily populated.

>Brood will offer Petyr direct stealth and surveilance, which Petyr will relay to the teams below via the Command Ship's Sensor Suite
>If the mercs fuck this up, call in the rest of the heavy units to respond like the Dreadnought Strikers and Stormers and Infernal Pirates to deploy and attack from the flanks. But we will still capture one of them.
>>
Rolled 13 (1d100)

>>45610554
Why not have Abigail go with the Stormers/Dreadnoughts too, maybe use them more actively instead of as a reserve. Have the stormers, dreadnoughts, and supers make a feint attack with a lot of force while the Mercs focus on capturing one of them.

Petyr should command the Mercs from the ship.

Have Peter work on reverse engineering the captured guardian wrecks for parts and pieces as well as the living ones for information and value.

We need to be able to find out what makes them strong while the speculators assess for any technological value.

Once done have the design team and marketers work with the caravan and the Gun network to develop a system where captured guardian wrecks and parts can be recycled into useful and effective gun mods which the mercs can use for their weapons.

In summary every dead guardian means both profit and more effective weapons using the guardians own combat systems against them as well as uparming the mercs.

I suppose now would be a great time to invest in superior anti-metallic weaponry which will help not only against robots but also ships.

Let's have the Brood start to engineer some more superior Anti-Metallic forces, perhaps some variation on the archtypical "Rust Monster"

Rather than just soley acting on rust alone, it should also incorporate some acidic stomach acids as well as microscopic metallic catalyst spores meant to accelerate the degredation of steel and metal.

They should be able to be deployed en masse, like in swarms, withering away be it with their teeth and tendrils or even simply smashing their caustic bodies on enemy metals, making them useful as an anti-ship measure.
>>

Also for the time being could we give CEO and the Broker 60% of the income and the other heroes get the 40% divided between them? This is after upkeep cost and paying units. So they can buy things needed for a bit. Unless this would slow the growing into a mega corp to much.

The outsider rift as its name implies is a rift from this universe to others. Naturally it is a place crawling with things not of this reality making it extremely dangerous. The rift is however very unstable and not commonly used. This doesn't mean there aren't outsiders there and the strange treasures that developed there have lured many over. We thanks to the Infernal Captain have identified no less then four concentrations of very exotic and rare material nodes there as well as sights of other interest. Sadly the outsider presence there is thick and there are other treasure hunters around too.

Petyr makes plans to attend the super classes. He will likely be quite busy...

CEO meanwhile transfers funs to Dervish as requested. Dervish then proceeds to buy supplies on the black market to augment the brood chem pods to produce goods that may entice some of the outsiders. This will likely however require extensive mutation of the brood pods. Luckily Dervish got the materials for it and now the brood is proceeding to develop the mutation for them. Its tricky however as it involves stuff not of this universe. Ixel plans to resort to brute forcing measures by using psi as a guide and magic as the power.

It will however consume extensive amount of the goods that Dervish acquired and take time.

Meanwhile some additional outsiders were hired. Mostly a bunch of demons but a few elementals also signed on.

While Petyr is busy on his super classes, and Abigail prepares for her own school trips, let us proceed with the takeover of the Ruined Planet.

From what I've learned of the Brood and Machines, technology is inherently ordered and not very adaptable to change at the basic level.

And from what we've discovered of the Rift, much of the material here is disorder and chaos embodied.

Have the new mercs and the Infernal captain go and collect more samples as they can, then use them as a weapon against the Guardians. This should fuck up their technology!

buuuuut before we deploy it.

---

Petyr ponders upon the significance of the Guardians and WHY they are still guarding.

Admittedly, we were very battle hungry and wanted to expand our domain while providing a training ground for our forces, yet it may be these Guardians are guarding something important or valuable. . .or dangerous.

how many times have we pressed upon some serious defenders only to finally beat them and it turns out what they were guarding is MUCH worse

For that matter why is this planet and the previous owners dead in the first place.

The Spy and the Spy Network are ordered this time to go on more archeological raids, and Petyr has the Black Laboratory take direct interest in finding out more of the Guardians history , and see if there's any clues if they are guarding only because their owners died, or because they are guarding something else entirely.

They MIGHT be protecting something but if so we don't know where or what it could be.

As for testing the stuff that was taken from the rifts...results varied wildly. Some of the stuff powered them up, others melted, zapped, copied, or anything else. Including a case of mimicry and supercharging as well as a few cases of deactivation.

The CEO upon finding out how wasteful we were with the collected materials was seen weeping over all the lost money...the war however does continue on schedule. If anything suddenly we were quite ahead of schedule. This may or may not be connected.

I think we're trying to do two things at once.

On the one hand, Petyr and Abigails hero quest. We are treating this as a hero quest, hence the lack of the usual civ stats.

BUT

On the other hand we are legitimately attempting to play this like a civ. Admittedly, a war civ and with the idea of less of a focus stats like in normal civ and more focus on hero but at the same time no stats makes it harder to guage how powerful we are and we need to rely on anon based notes to remember what we have (Many thanks to you Delim and the anon that makes those pictures).

I think we can manage it. It's good we have spare time to develop specific weapons and gather units for the next time we have a big battle like Abigail did a lot.

Mr. Wetters spends some time with his grand daughter, watching her grow the garden. Maybe he has a story to tell her

Mercs have reached the point where they are bitching about how goddamn many of them there are. Given our current forces it will likely take some serious time to break em down.

The super classes are about super tech and involve one super trying to keep ahead of all the others. This more often then not comes down to first experience and then expertise.

Abigail's rival is off earning extra credit. She feels rather...burnt about the whole marriage and huge wedding. Not to mention most of the old friends have their own ships which they command. Unless you go back to Republic space anyway.

Mr. Wetters does indeed spend time with his granddaughter and garden.

What do?

Hey mercs. Time for employee suggestion and complaints.

Anything you want to suggest or request regarding the Guardians?

"Ammo. A LOT more ammo."

"More ammo, coming up.

We also have the fleet in orbit. Do you guys want more radios and orbital artillery strikes?"

Action:
The Mercs are requesting more ammunition. Time to give it to them.

We already have the Weapons and Armaments network up and running on our ships.

CEO: Dole out some money to the mercs to buy more ammunition from the Weapons and Armaments dispensers.

Caravaner make sure these are up and running properly, and purchase some extra ammo shipments if need be

R&D: Continue the focus on the rift materials. See if you can't focus on developing some sort of renewable energy weapon we can use to arm our mercs with, unless the CEO has a better idea for this material then continue under his superivision.
Ixel: Part of a later project Petyr intends to do is an Anti-Air and Infantry laser eye Brood. It uses various processes within the brood pod to transform bioelectrical impulse into focused laser energy from exceptionally large eyes.

We might also develop something a human can use.

Combiner Dreadnought-Striker Mobile Suits:
Our Mercs are requesting more ammo, which means more FIREPOWER. Get the hell in there and start laying down the rain of fire!
