T'was another fine peaceful day in Agronar, birds chirping, and the people going about their business in the bustling castle town.

There was to be a great celebration for peace between the fairer races and the more shall we say "evil" races at the castle. There was food, wine, and merriment abound and all were gay with may until one thing led to another and a fight broke out. Turn's out a group of assassins had killed the good King and assaulted his family, which the lesser races seized this chance and took over the land and a terrible king.

Every male heir to the king was thought to have to have met their end on a blade. However by a tiny, small stroke of chance, a heir did survive although a bastard would be the people's only hope to unite the warring people's into a kingdom of his own right, or maybe some other fate awaits him?

Who was he?
>A Hedge Knight: Arion may have grown up without a father figure but the knights of the realm proved to be a suitable lifestyle to strive for.

>Clergyman: Brother Lucius grew up serving the lost and Ill, never knowing his origin but was content serving his faith and those less fortunate.

>Outlaw: Robert spent his days on the wrong end of the law stealing rich and poor alike, he knew how to care for himself.

>Merchant: Graham was a shrewd businessman and made a pretty coin doing so. He knew the currency trade better than most, so he was always coming out with a profit.

Ah yes, Graham you sly fox of the Lowland's. From the salty Sea coast's to her Off shore islands and marshy wetland's. You made your dealings with the poor and less fortunate Folk from kobold's to orcs and ratfolk along races of such a caliber.

You were a young man in his early twenties and managed to work your way into the Merchant caste of society. You currently have made your first permanent hold in...?

>Ironscale Isle
Lands just off the coast where trade comes in and out from precious metals, gems, and "bond servants" come through to the mainland on a weekly basis.

The Bronze Coast, a fine place if you don't mind the dirt. This had been your home from the get go and you wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone generally tried to work together and we did alright under the thumb of the Ironscale Isles. You enjoyed life with Shana, although an "escort" she gave you and your half brother Rex a better life than most.

After you took off on your own you learned to be a Merchant and made sure she would never do another thing such as that again. Your moved to the Midlands to become somebody important or something, probably a politician or maybe the clergy you didn't know or cared much.

You were going to another town to do some business with Torba of Greenwood and you mustn't delay. You had your servant Marsa help you dress and eat as you bade mother goodbye. Maybe you should bring someone along...

>Shana

You and Marsa head out into the city Street and climb up onto the wagon as you whip the reins as the pull horses Clop and Clip through the earth down the road. Marsa shifts nervously in place, probably nervous due to being the first week she's been on the job. Hopefully she'll be more helpful than a hindrance.

"Hey, you okay Mar"? You inquire of the dark skinned elf, who turns away nervously. "Sorry but I'm okay Mr.Daventry. It's just Drow never really got opportunities like this usually".

Drow were kinda on the lower caste in society and they rarely if ever get the chance to improve their quality of life so this was quite literally the opportunity of a lifetime for her. You give a pat on the back reassuringly.

" You'll do fine, just let me do the talking. Just stand there, look pretty, and make sure nobody jacks my stuff". She mutters an "Ok" and tries to hide under her hood.

"Hey Marsa take the reins for a second, I'm gonna make sure all the stuff is in order". She gives you an affirmative as you hand her the reins as she takes control. You doing to the side as you get to the back of the wagon.

Pulling the tarp you take stock of your goods, furs, unrefined Ore, and a few barrels of wine lay neatly arranged in the back. You smile at how finely arranged it is and move back to the front of the wagon resting back on the seat.

The wagon continued along the path as the seat bumps and rumbles alongside the the Forest. The forest alive with the chatter of the forest as you spy a woman cloaked in grey traveling alone down the path keeping her head on a swivel and eyeing you with suspicion.

"Hello Sir, would be so kind as to allow me passage with to the town, it would be safer to travel with other's"? The black haired stands there supporting herself on her staff, strange black tatoo across the right side of her face. Marsa doesn't object leaving it to be your call.

You make your merry little way to the Trademasters Office, a few Fellow Merchant's milling about talking about trade or trade accessories.

You wait around yourself for almost an hour until finally you were called in take a contract of your choosing. You take your time to read through the things wanted by a few cities before deciding on Drambull as it had the most potential for profit.

>What contracts will you take? Carry Capacity 200
-Furs 20, Low Risk, Low Pay
-Wine 50, Average Risk, Medium Pay
-Pottery 30 Low Risk, Low Pay
-Weapon's Medium Pay, Medium Risk
-Slave's 100 High Risk, Average Pay, +1 Slave

Let's go to the worrior's guild or something to hire an escort too
>>
>>45341527
I suggest taking a supply of weapons and wine. That way we can use the weapons to defend the wine if it comes to that.

>>

It might be smarter to come back when we're getting ready to roll our way out of town, when we know how much we'll be leaving with out of what we brought with us.

You take the Wine, Pottery, Spices, Salt, and Metals contract and sign off on it while Marsa heads off to get the goods needed. You give a nod and take your leave from the building back into the bustling town filled with life.

You see that the goods were all loaded and D Jon hopped on the back while Marsa took the reins as you climbed aboard, "Hey boss, I see the new guy Jon will joining us. He's seems like a nice guy overall". She remarked as she bade the horses to start trotting forward to their next destination.

With some time to yourself, you began to think about the future and what you truly wanted to pursue the most right now...

Nothing saying there aint trade opportunities to be had. A warring kingdom is usually in need of all manner of things
>harem

Can we not?

You guys seem to have this character nailed down pretty solidly as a stereotypical jew with a racist outlook on things and no interest in human interaction. I'm gonna go ahead and stop trying to make him fun and try my luck with a different quest.

Good luck making someone rich and miserable, fellas.

Instate the Kobold final solution

Ask our temp Archer's name If he/she does a nice enough job we can hire full time

No reason to be butthurt because people dont want to do things your way.

Hah! like thats a fucking option

Gold is true love anon. People are for using.

I think that if Graham Daventry was a real person he would explore:
>Blood of the North

Now i feel bad about leaving Coboldberg.
>>

No racism on my part anon, I just think that it was not economically sound to spend another 500 hundred, and we already have Jon and Marse to interact, not counting the Archer

Asking again for future reference, how much extra capacity/options do the upgrades give us?

Yeah, if you don't know where you come from, then how can you know where your going? After this trip is over your going to have to ask mother about who dad was because not knowing is burning you up inside.

>Meanwhile in the Midlands...
"Arryn get up, you can't die on us...lest everything you've fought for will be in vain"! Arryn Daventry Grandson of King Dale, youngest brother uncle of King Daveed Daventry. They would breach the manor wall soon.

You pull yourself off the cold stone floor, a hand clutching your newly scarred face covered in claw marks, at least you would live...for now. You limp over and retrieve Florance, your mother's Sword and slowly contemplate your options. You need to escape...or die trying.

>Side Gate
Your best bet but if it's blocked...your fucked.
>Over the Wall
The riskiest...and everyone would die helping you escape.
>Through the Front Gate
They wouldn't suspect it and would be the safest bet.

You push through the lot of them cutting those that stood in your way. You sliced, cut, and drove the blade through the soldiers and finally pushed to the gate.

"There's two winches my lord"! What! No, not like this! Damn, they were right. The Savior who couldn't save anyone. You get onto the house and look upon your three loyal retainer's.
" Please hurry Sir! If you die here then all is lost"!

>Who will you save? (Whoever is not chosen will live or die on the flip of a coin.)

>Embryn, Your Dragonborn Bodyguard. Military Expertise. Can't win a war without an expert in warfare.
>Felix, Your Catfolk Maester. Medical Expertise. Can't win a war if everyone dies of fatal Injuries.

Blood is thicker than, uh, something. Wait, who's the father?

(Rex, as Graham will eventually find out.)
(If Erina survived then Rex will die before you meet again. If Erina dies then Rex will be alive when you meet him again.)
