Phyrexia having to deal with the spirits would be interesting since they haven't dealt with such things before. I imagine they would quickly figure out that fucking up the places of power would kill/ enslave the kami which could lead to interesting developments. Simic could go either way, but if they stay loyal they'd be among the best weapons that Ravnica's got.

The Boros/Orzhov/Azorius block is obviously correct. Boros is the very reason that Phyrexia has to be smart about an invasion or it's going to be an absurdly short conflict.
Gruul will be ineffectual, but I doubt they'd actually cross over. They'd probably get involved at the very end of the conflict and be that last little boost in forces for Ravnica, because Elesh Norn tripped over a bush or something.
Rakdos will go Phyrexian because someone masturbated with ichor or something.
Dimir will have half their guild go bad without even realizing it, because of the compartmentalization of their cells.

Nah. As much as I want more Lorwyn, I'd be disappointed as hell is they gave it to us saddled with something like the Eldrazi or the Phyrexians. A huge, grimdark threat like them wouldn't fit with the rest of the set's aesthetic. Lorwyn needs to be a whimsical adventure, a Hobbit-esque (book not movie but movie is more likely) tale of wonder and danger. That's why if they ever do a return to Lorwyn, I'd like it to be a more light-hearted story with smaller stakes than the safety of the entire multiverse.
I'd also like the block to start as Shadowmoor and for the Aurora to swap it back to Lorwyn for the second set.And a qt3.14 Kithkin planeswalker.
