Sounds good.

Most likely, after we arrive to the system, our sorcerers cast spells that instill madness and fear on the planetary scale, turning everyone there into gibbering lunatics, reveling in insanit.
Like hell scenes in Event Horizon. After that, we step in and have FUN until there's nothing moving left.

Can we make this group David Bowie themed.

Because... reasons?
>>
>>44867794
That, or maybe after they are done with their current planet they just gather up everyone who's still alive and press-gang them into the cult.
I imagine this warband having a small permanent core of sorcerers and a champion with his retinue, surrounded by drowes of expendable cultists who die in packs and get recruited in packs.

Also,
>1d10 to see what our Champion managed to do to impress Chaos Gods.
>>
>>44867794
That was my thinking. They show up, shroud the planet in darkness ala the Nightlords, launch satellites that turn the planet into a giant rave (with black lights, lasers, and evil Chaos rave music) and see who starts killing each other, jamming out, or killing themselves. They take the ones they deem "worthy" up to their rave sphere and leave the rest.

I have had a david bowie themed slaaneshi warband for over a year now. Their loyalist chapter was "the Blessed" and they are "The Spiders from Mars" (dark mechanicus allies, heavy vehicle use along with noise marines, they were a mars favored chapter when they were loyal). Warmaster Ziggy is a biker lord, the Starman is the Daemon prince if I field it / dark apotheosis happens.

>The figure is renowned for defeating the Forces of the Imperium in battle several times.

Notice how it's saying "in battle", singular.

I guess once our warband got way over their heads. The victory of the Imperials was in sight, and only our champion and his retinue were left standing. As the Imperials made their final push, thir momentum unexpectedly halted and crashed, as the champion, accompanied by waves of derilium washing over the Imperials, made a comeback and turned the tide. Loyalist around him raved madly, slaughtering friends and foes alike, bringing all of the imperial progress in that battle for naught.

This repeated several times throughout the fight. The Stardust Host was brought next to ruin, when at the last moment the loyalist effort crumbled into chaos, with the champion coming on top in the resulting orgy. In the end, even though loyalist had overwhelming advantage, they tired and ground themselves out, with the battle ending in the Stardust Host favour.
>>
So, let's summarise
>Slaaneshi warband
>Moderate amount of aesthetic blessings
>Base in a space hulk
>Mostly consist of cultists with a small core of marines
>Rely on sorcery in battle
>Led by a chaos Champion, distinguished by his victory against the forces of Imperium.

The Stardust Host seems like a good name.

>>44867608
>>44867870
This I also like. Space Hulk arrives to the systems. Warband casts maddening sorcery/deploys chaos machinery around the planet that drives the population to the insanity, after which the main forces land on the planet and throw the crazy party to end all crazy parties, commiting every single bloody atrocity they can think of. After they're done, they gather the people that displayed the "right" kind of madness - the most bloodthirsty, base and animalistic - and take them as cultists.

Most of the warband consists of the cultists inducted as such, the core is made from CSM sorcerers as well as the Starman Champion and his closest retinue.

The Stardust Host seems like a good name, all that's possibly left is naming the hulk, making a colour scheme and we're set.

Purple for the Champion, Red vor sorcerers, Orange for "rank and file" marines?
>>
>>44868592
Teal for rank and file, it "pops" better. Color scheme has white as the primary with gold as the secondary. Champion has gold as the primary, as only the Starman Champion has earned the right to wear the glittering gold.

What would be the champion's trim then?

> Color scheme has white as the primary with gold as the secondary.

I agree with this mainly because full-metallic armor doesn't usually fare so well as an actual paint scheme unless the painter REALLY knows what they're doing. It's fine for commanders, maybe, just to make them pop a bit more.

Chaos Module for ChapterGenerator is very basic compared to Loyalist one, and is not even included in the Constructor, so I can only click the "generate" button with hopes it makes something nice and little control over the result. For example, the colour table actually has trims on pauldrons as purple, but the programme gave me pauldrons that do not have the "trim" zone. Maybe someone knows a better util for the task?

Here's another version.
>>
>>44869011

Also, what should we call our rank and file marine members? "Warrior" seems too bland.
Cultists can go with "You there!".

>>
>>44869456
I want to like it but the other color scheme seems more Slaaneshi.
>>
>>44869526
Well, yes, that's kinda the point. The Starman is the head honcho whose dick has the statblock of an owlbear, so he's got the gariest colour scheme. These guys are just his posse, so they can't stand out more than him.

Though I'll try to come up with something better.
