What's the most heroic thing you've done in a game /tg/?

One time I shared a healing potion and didn't charge the other PC for it

I *DIDN'T* rape her.
>>
I had a wizard of mine lure a city worth of ghouls to him, and used a fireball to kill them at the cost of his life (and a portion of the city)
>>
Hid behind a wall of other PCs and NPCs as a daemon engine ran towards us and slowly moved towards the exit while taking potshots and ordering the NPCs to hold their ground. Then once the other PCs had died in combat finished it off with a laspistol shot.

is this some kind of meme im not aware of cause these dont sound very heroic at all tbqh senpai

We were trapped in a magically repeating hallway filled to the brim with resetting traps and split into six rooms. Via a complicated method of mirrors and other trappings we discovered the word "Faith". Our only clue.

As the party Paladin, I decided this meant faith and faith alone would deliver us from this death trap. Since it had been real-time HOURS trapped here, I ordered the party to stay in the first room, as I began to walk blindfolded through the INCREDIBLY trapped hall. I deliberately hit every, single one. The burnt, poisoned, crushed, pierced and broken remnant of my paladin eventually reached the end of the hall at about 3hp and multiple crippling injuries. The door opened, revealing the next part of the dungeon. We were saved.

My DM told me later that what I did was in no conceivable way the answer to the puzzle, but he liked my answer better. Always get a DM who rewards roleplaying.

Got into a threesome with a tavern girl and a noblewoman while being a mercenary who can only groan.
>>
A lich turned my eye into a phylactary about halfway through the campaign (long story). So at the end of the campaign I stabbed myself in the eye with a holy sword.

If I was in your party I'd let you lean on me the rest of the journey, hundreds of pounds of Holy-Fuck-Off Hammer and armor or no.
>>
I threw myself at a party of eight Gnoll with two Hyenas and fought them alone for five turns in order to stop them from ambushing a group of refugees until our Fighter turned up to rescue me.

I was a thief.

Thank fuck for tumble.

Diablerie.

It makes sense in the context.

The first game that I spent more than a few months in wasn't really super awesome, but I had great fun as we kept it going for like four years through a huge story arc. My character was the last surviving character of six of us players (the others all died in what we thought was the final battle with the BBEG and had to roll new characters as children while my character happened to wake up in essentially the spirit world) and I befriended the spirit of the moon and with her help the spirit of the sun, and eventually I made it back to the regular world where with the help of the two spirits brought an end to the BBEG.

It was really cool because I was a nobody. The other PCs were the DM's girlfriend (literal mary sue with a bunch of private sessions where she was given considerably more exp then we were) and the DM's brother, both of whom were well established as the main characters, while my character's only real use was a minor plot point as I had glimpses of the future through dreams and was pretty much mediocre at everything else. The PCs were bummed that they died, and I was too as I thought I had died too, but then we realized I wasn't asked to make a new character and the DM pulled the whole miraculous survival thing. The DM said he had planned since the very beginning that my modest, supporting behind the scenes character would be the hero in the end. It was really neat.

Started a charity for the city poor.

Built a temple with a dorm and soup kitchens. Recruited staff from those eager to help.
Turned the ghetto into a nice place to live.

As a kobold Wizard (i wanna say level 13 focused evocation specialist) I once goaded a dragon into eating me so that I could blast it from the inside where - I reasoned with the DM - it would be unable to make reflex saves against my (maximized, empowered) AOEs. Lasted around three rounds blowing it up with everything I had before I finally killed it. Don't remember if I just tanked the digestion damage or if I had some kind of buff on me before I went in, but survived by D-Dooring out after killing it.

Meanwhile, the rest of the party was having little-to-no luck fighting it from the outside. I remember the GM telling us I was responsible for taking down about 90% of it's HP while the rest of the party was being hit by debuffs and dealing with horde traps. It was a defining moment for the character, who remains to this day one of my favorites ever. I've played a ton of paladin's since and never gotten the chance to do something quite as cool.

If I was in your party, I would have ran out, grabbed you, and guided you through the dungeon as best I could.

If you had asked me why I had done that, or told me to go back and be with the others, I would've told you you needed to have some faith in your friends too.

My party's elf ranger once got captured by the drow and sacrificed to Lolth. We had just reached level 5 or 6 (our druid had just learned reincarnation), and this was the first party death, so we were all like "fuck this, we're getting our buddy back". Hired a wizard npc that could teleport (took a lot of our money and the promise that I would stay within 5 ft of him for protection), scryed the location of his body, and enacted our rescue plan.

We learned the hard way that things don't always go as expected. We busted in via teleport, busted some drow heads, and our druid cast reincarnation on our elf bro. Unfortunately, through some soul binding BS from the sacrifice, it reincarnated him into the fresh body of a nearby drow assassin. He was not happy about that (IC that is, being an elf. OOC, he thought it was neat as fuck). So our elf ranger was replaced with a heavy axe wielding drow assassin. Ever see a drow bisect a giant spider by dropping on it with a heavy axe from 25 ft up, right as it's about to chomp into the party cleric? I have, and it was glorious, but that was a bit later.

On our way out, another assassin had followed us, and as soon as we thought we were safe, blew a hole through our brave druids chest and killed him with a death attack. RIP, druid. He said his character had a note on him, a last will, that if he were to meet his end, to let him rest and plant a pot plant above his grave in remembrance. God speed, you stoner, ass kicking druid. The player then rolled up a warmage that proceeded to fuck up ALL the shit. good times.

Fuck, I miss that campaign. First one I ever played, and still haven't had another GM as good as that one.

Demon Lord killed and ate my PC's goddess.

Led an expedition into what was basically hell to find it and end the threat it represented.

Found the demon. The party fought it and killed it.

I sacrificed myself in the effort. My Paladin's last actions in life was slicing it apart from the inside as he was swallowed, loudly singing "Nearer My God to Thee" in defiance.

I knew we didn't have enough water for the 4 of us to make it back, and there was no time for drawing lots or having a big argument about nobody being left behind, not with the flower children coming after us, so I faked a leg injury and asked them to leave me some extra arrows and tell my wife I was sorry.
>>
>>44662424
Didn't you have a cleric or a paladin? They can create water with the right spell, and I'm sure a decent wizard could too.

The city had just been attacked by a few dragons, burning from both their breaths and the counterattack from my troops.

We won.

I donated 99% of my gold (80,000 coins) to both butcher the dragons, pay a victory festival and rebuild the city.

The BBEG was a phantom-god's unconscious-vampire which fed on hopelessness, every PC's and NPC's. A region in despair was prime ground for him to use a hopeless person and turn her surroundings into a not! Silent Hill area

Set up a lethal trap for myself so when big baddy demon possessed me I'd fall into it and immediately hit 0 HP for easy exorcism.

I actually ultimately survived, too.

I punched not!godzilla in the jaw.

Triggered a LOT of explosive charges in the Warp Drives of a Necron-infested ship, beacuse clearly that was the only way to get rid of them, with the sign of the Aquila proud on my chest piece.

The party was trapped in a room with one rouge psyker and a mutant.
The party was able to kill the mutant but everyone except me and a guardsman was knocked unconcious while the guardsman was stuck under some rubble.
I threw a grenade but the psyker deflected it, so i took two grenades, one per hand, i ran towards the psyker , screaming, and the psyker exploded.
The psyker died, i lost both my arms and parts of my torso, the guardsman freed himself and brought me and the others to saefty.
Later i got some bitchin bionic arms.

Opening sequence, a squad of priestesses were battling a werewolf. I swept down to save one of the girls just before she was raped, and carried her off with my winged jetpack.

When a girl asks if you're an angel, you know you've left a good first impression.
>>
Once my Cleric stayed behind on a undead continent to ensure the rest of the party could get to safety, and since I was cursed with immortality,I basically dooned myself to a eternity of undead-fighting.Made for some bitchin bard songs though
>>
Character had wings. Town was full of winged demons, to many for the party to fight off. He flew in yelling and calling them bitches, got almost all of the fliers (and some of the nonfliers) to chase him for about 20 minutes before they caught him. Luckily he had led them outside of a dragons den, so he was able to get away with his life while the demons shit themselves.

>Survived long enough for party to jump aboard from the ship of the line

>Die
>Have my name written down in to the Order's book of deeds.

>I fill in the blanks with my own experiences even when they clearly don't fit, because I'm a retard.

The entire thread is non setting-specific, it might as well have been a postapocalyptic game for all you know, so why the fuck would you make the logical leap that it was a D&D game when the entire story would clearly never have been an issue if there was free magical water?

It's like going
>Lol, why didn't you just fly away in an airplane?
Without any reason to believe they even exist in the setting.
>>
>Merrow is dying from horrible disease
>We try to cure it, but it she's not responding to magical healing.
>Her lover was the guy we just killed (long story, not our fault).
>The bard (designated savior of all mosnter girls) has connection issue.
>I comfort her in his place, and pretend to be her lover in order to keep her at peace.
>Party cleric tells me to check for curses.
>We find the curse that was preventing magical healing, but it can't be removed, only transfered.
>I immediately offer to take the curse.
>Cleric jumps in and offers as well
>Fighter jumps in and offers as well.
>Cleric ends up winning the arguement and takes on the curse.
>Merrow is saved.

We later ended up playing curse tag with each other until we found a way to dispell it. It was a fun time.

We were battling for the fate of the world. Standing against us was the goddess of the night and general of the enemy forces. One member of the party was dominated, the other was getting force choked and would die in two rounds. I was a Barbarian with an Orc Double Axe. The system was Pathfinder.

It would take a miracle to save us.

I rolled to full attack.

Nineteen. Twenty. Full damage on both dice.

The goddess didn't die, but her horn was shattered, and the TPK was averted. Then she crashed the moon into the Earth, but we survived.

It was an MLP game. I was playing a sapient griffon because those are a thing in that universe.
