Does /tg/ know any Idolpunk rpgs? I imagine Shadowrun or Cyberpunk 2020 would work well with a bit of tweaking.

Unless it's about upstarts and rebels fighting the oppressive idol system, it's not punk. Though, frankly, a silly campaign about spurned, burned, and washed out idols sticking it to the man by taking down an oppressive and obscenely powerful media conglomerate sounds like a fun, silly game.

You disgust me.

Wouldn't idolpunk be about rebels fighting an oppressive dystopia using.. I don't know, shitty pop music and dance routines? Like, Space Channel 5 or something.

I suppose those would be idol punks, though not necessarily idolpunk. Well, I guess it could be, fuck if I know.

You've got nothing to do with punk whatsoever, you weeb. Stop using that term.

Would idolpunk be breaking the oppression of family/living conditions through music and dance?Could Footloose be idolpunk? What about Dirty Dancing?
