The act of putting on the ring triggers a curse that will irritate, but not meaningfully harm the user. This leads the user to believe the ring is cursed and take it off.
The fact is that the ring is not the source of the curse and actually wards off most of the negative effects of the curse. Removing the ring amplifies the curse (or would appear so, despite it being more accurate to say that the ring lessened the curse), usually leading to death soon after the removal of the ring.

Directing the power of all the rings into a single location will summon an outsider with awesome hair.

Cursed Ring of Weight Gain

Wearing the ring over an extended period of time, the wearer continually becomes more and more exceptionally talented in just about everything. The drawback, however, is that once every set interval of time, they develop a bizarre and hard-to-satisfy sexual fetish, with the strangeness of said fetish increasing each time. Removing the ring removes and resets all talent gained, but the fetishes stay.
Glutton's Ring
Allows you to eat as much food as you want, but never feel full or have a stomach ache, letting you indulge in all the flavors of a meal.
Removal however, causes the wearer to feel ravenously hungry for a while.

When worn, if the wearer touches the head of a sleeping person, they will have the worst nightmare they have ever had in their life.

Rolling a one while wearing this ring negates the effects of catastrophic failure with the inadvertent effect of "Unintended Consequences".
So whatever the player says they want to do "hit a monster", "seduce a guard", etc. will be as successful as rolling a natural twenty with a terrible mishap happening afterwards.

Decoder ring: comes in a variation of values, the more precious it is the better it is at making the wearer able to read encrypted or cryptic messages and codes. Engineers and everyone else?
A locking pair of puzzle rings that portal between each other. Whatever goes in the back of one comes out the back of the other, same with the fronts. Give one to a friend talk to each other over distances, throw one in a well and leave one in your water skin to have constant drinking water, or stick one on a pole and look through the other to see above the treeline/around corners.
When they're locked together, they appear to act as a normal ring, but what is actually happening is that when your finger is going through the back of the first ring, it's coming out the back of the second ring, into the front of the first ring, and then out the front of the second ring.

It took me maybe a quarter of a millisecond to think of how that could be used lewdly. Just slip one into a party member's underwear and you've got one hell of a party waiting to happen.
A ring of fire. The outside is cool to the touch, but the inside is red hot. It's actually an entire ring of red-hot metal set into another ring for easy handling. Anything that passes through is heated to the same temperature, letting you instantly boil water or light small twigs or tinder. Or for torture, if that's your fancy
The possibilities are endless! I had to keep rewriting the description because I kept coming up with fantastic uses for two pairs of portals.

A rough, heavy iron ring that constantly wants to spin. It always wants to spin horizontally, around a vertical axis, regardless of it's own orientation. The longer it spins, the harder it is to stop. When worn, it tugs slightly but constantly in its preferred direction of spin (anti-clockwise). When the hand is in the resting position (facing down) and the finger it's on is sweaty enough or too small for friction alone to hold it, it can begin to spin around the finger. If not quickly taken care of, it can sever the finger.
A glass ring that absorbs any curse you would've taken, and cracks a bit. If you're wearing it when it finally shatters, every curse it has caught will be applied to you.
This ring, where the birds are animated. Either just for show, or they could fly away/get agitated when there's danger nearby
A ring made of fibrous muscle tissue. It's warm to the touch, and constricts slightly around your finger in a rhythmic pattern when you wear it, almost like it's beating
A ring that removes your need for sleep. Take it off though and all that sleep comes back, throwing you into a coma until you make up for all the nights you missed or someone puts the ring back on you.
A ring made of spider's silk, helps you grip objects but is nearly impossible to remove

The earthring

There is a word written in ancient runes on the ring. When the word is spoken aloud, pale blue flames begin to crawl around the wearer's ring hand. These flames produce no heat and do not burn. If the wearer touches a living being(other than himself, if he's alive), the flames will jump onto that being, then disappear. This produces a mild tingling sensation in the target but otherwise nothing.Make sure to roll a die behind your screen just to fuck with your players, though.

A golden ring with an empty setting. When worn by a member of the faith a small ignites above the setting. If the flame is lit and the wearer is weilding a weapon in the same hand as the ring all attacks made against evil creatures deal +[appropriate amount] fire damage. If the wielder strikes a good creature the ring deals +[appropriate amount] fire damage to the wearer and the flame is extinguished until the ring is worn by another member of the faith or 1 [day/week/month] has passed.
>Know of the Downtrodden
A ring of coarse hemp twine fastened with a large knot. When worn the ring provides a -5 penalty to rolls when dealing with members of the upper classes, clergy, and military but provides a +10 bonus to rolls when dealing with any members of the lower classes. The ring cannot be removed by normal means. Anytime the wearer succeeds in an interaction where the ring's penalty would be in effect the knot loosens. If the knot is loosened 5 times the knot comes undone, the magic is dispelled, and the ring falls to the floor as a simple piece of twine. The wearer may elect to tighten the knot at any time, doing so resets the count.
Point Ring.
Your character instantly loses all momentum when activated and becomes immovable. The twist is that the character loses ALL momentum. The planet files out from under their feet as they become anchored to a singular point in the universe. They are forced to watch as their solar system hurdles away while they succumb to the vacuum of space.
