Ehh. Sometimes this shit just happens. This is why I have a character who's engaged to a griffon.
We came up to a bunch of bandits that were trying to kidnap her and thanks to bardic lore we realized that pathfinder griffons are smart enough to understand common though they can't speak it. This shit wasn't even a poaching, it was a kidnapping.
We step in to save her but she's kinda beaten up so I decide to heal her. She's wary as fuck by I'm a skald (think half bard/half barbarian). I just go ahead and let her bite me to keep her still for a second while I heal her, then go full charisma and try to talk her down.
I swear, all I wanted was a griffon who I could be buddies with and go on cool adventures.
Rolled really well for diplomacy. GM rolls for reaction and then she promptly calms right down.
Turns out that sometimes when you jump into the middle of a brawl to save a lady and then get yourself bitten without putting up a fight just so you can heal her you buy yourself a lot of brownie points.
After that we did turn out to be buddies and went on adventures together. She was always really close by to him but it wasn't until I got the ability to cast speak with animals that I realized what was going on here.
So now I'm trying to find some polymorph magic for her and trying to figure out how to explain to the party. I kinda think I'm going to get her into human form before I explain the rest.

That's more like speciesist than sexist. And that's actually been brought up. The big reason we're working on her first is that people get all uppity when I want to take her places. Taverns keep complaining until they remember that it's let her in or turn away the best act that's graced their stage in ever.

We sorta chatted about it and she was actually the one who suggested magical assistance. I was the one who brought up her changing because it also lets us go more places. I feel bad about having to constantly argue with every dumb duke or baron we meet that he either treats her with respect or I don't fucking help kill skellies or demons or whatever he wants killed. The amazing thing is that he's not even trying. In fact he's actively trying not to because he feels like he owes it to the griffon. His usual behavior was just to pretty much act like a rock star when he wasn't fighting evil.
Since the engagement he's pretty much been turning down groupies for the most part pulling the "no, I have to do griffon things" card. Because no one has any idea what sort of things a griffon does no one realizes that we're just chilling out cuddling and drinking.
But every now and then you do the hero thing and meet a nice gorgeous girl during and stuff sort of happens (see "I'm a half bard" speech when I warned her about this)

Re: the topic tho, if you are going to try and romance a monster girl it better be a whole side quest in and of itself. I'm talking bizarre mating rituals like jousting a centaur girl or skydiving with a harpy, getting her father's consent (possible boss fight optional, God help you if she's part demon, literally) and fetch quests for things she'd like / stuff to woo her. If you're going to go there, do it right and put the work into it.

That sounds adorable, and reminds me of a wizard I once played, who ended up with a sphinx.
Low level, the party needed to get through a narrow pass guarded by a sphinx. I answered her riddle easily, and asked one of my own while the party was starting to move on. She and I traded riddles and puzzles the whole way through the pass, first time in forever either of them had had a really intelligent conversation. I would go back and chat between quests, eventually gave her a multi-stage rubik's cube/3D sudoku/crossword/puzzle box enchanted to randomize itself for new challenges. Inside was a necklace rather than a ring.I'm placing their daughter as an NPC in a game I'm running

This was before I spoke griffon but they had a long conversation and he seemed to be leader of their flock or pride or whatever a group of griffons is called. I kinda don't think he likes me but he started showing me some respect after I went a couple of rounds with the guards to their home (by 'went a couple of rounds' I mean I intentionally didn't fight them and spent the whole time dodging, using magic to make me hard to hit, and generally trying to talk them down until she showed up and put them in their place)

Ring seems the best answer. I'm thinking that it'll probably work if we just slip it onto her talon part way. Since the talon is thicker at the base you'd just slide it like half way down and presumably when it's snug the magic kicks in. Then she just finishes sliding it snuggly into place on her finger.

I try not to go places without her but there are some times when you just can't get her into a building and she has to hang out outside while we talk with people. Like I said, this is one of the reasons I'm trying to give her the option to turn human but I know it bothers her.

You can tell she gets a little bothered by the fact that people flinch when she tries to communicate with them. The worst is when I'm translating for her and someone speaks to me like I need to translate what they're saying. Well, she didn't travel with us much when we were dating, and after the wedding I retired to live with her in a nice big library tower/lair.
We did have some dealings with a desert town on one side of the pass she had claimed, and her issues were less about being ashamed and more that most humans are quite weak and simpleminded compared to her, and she found it exasperating. But she's not really a bad person, probably never meant that whole 'eat you if you fail my riddle bit', and managed to restrain herself since the townsfolk stayed respectful of the large, magical predator and dispenser of wisdom that she is.
I do wish you luck with everything though, and will say that a ring should work, or a necklace, which aren't as likely to fall off as you fear. A belt might also work, could be made for either fingers or claws to operate it easily enough.
