How practical is a mutagenic virus that only mutates humans into koalas?
>>
>>44296768
Depends on the setting
>>

I thought such a thing already existed in Australia?
>>
Well, impossible, for a start.

But that aside, depending on how contagious it is and how fast its effects, it could mean the quick death of most of the human race, save for those who can find eucalyptus trees before becoming full koalas.

This has potentially infinite applications.
We're writing you a blank check towards research and development.

Is it feasible? Sure, why not. Crazier stuff has been posited in SF before. Practical? Nah. To be practical it has to have a use, a purpose, and I can't think of any purpose for turning koalas into humans.

For turning people into Koalas?
Pretty fucking practical.
>>
Nothing about that really seems practical

Cunt

how do you think koalas breed? Shlanging? Naw.

They drop on people fromabout three meters, and then the venom slowly turns you into a koala. Symptoms include blank stare and alcoholism. The only cure is Vegimite on rye.

Are you an eccentric BBEG? If so then I'd say very practical.
>>
Pretty effective from an exterminating point of view. They'll get conjunctivitis and die falling out a tree or have sex and die of clamidia

Interesting, so the dead yeast remnants that are a result of beer-brewing act as a counter-agent of some sort?
>>
>>44296768
...why?

Gonna need a bit more context there, buddy.
>>
only if transmittable by dropbear

i'd be surprised if they don't already have it irl

Suppose one had plans for - speaking hypothetically - a series of massacres involving, oh, say, one's ugly as fuck enemies when their stupid guards are theoretically down possibly while eating at their favourite disgusting ethnic restaurants all over town at dinner time next Wednesday. See, then the question becomes, "How LONG would it take to mutate, as a random example, the students, staff and faculty of a mid-sized orphanage into an army of wall-walking ninja drop bears, each one of which [according to the wiki] primarily eats shoots and leaves?"
