"All Princeps of this Legion are exposed to records that are widely purged across the Mechanicus. The Inquisition would like to think they are the only holders of this sort of material.
The Inquisition would be wrong.
All Princeps become capable of identifying a tainted machine just from the nuance of it's tainted code. On top of that their Titans are equipped with scanners that can track down chaos taint to a startling degree of accuracy. Sadly exposure to material of this nature, and the cloistered existence these Princeps must lead as a result of it inevitably leads to mental disorders. Careful cultivation of secondary personalities for battle, tracking, social occasions, and other events is standard doctrine in Princeps of this Legion most people wouldn't know that every man and woman piloting one of these titans is stark raving mad by any objective standard due to the skill of the social personalities that their Princeps have cultivated.
One sad consequence f this is the single minded murderous dedication of the battle personalities and the serious issues the Legion has when it comes to collateral damage can be traced back to the Atavistic blood rage that lies in the heart of everyone of her Princeps."

So so far, we have a Daemon-killing, Chaos-hating legion that leaves great swaths of destruction in its wake. Their specialty is killing off Daemon-possessed titans and annoying Eldar, frequently in concert with their other Titan Legion buddies.
The constant exposure to the archenemy renders their pilots irrecoverably mad after a certain length of time, but their decision to sacrifice their sanity for the good of both their God-Machines and Humanity at large has resulted in exceptionally powerful and destructive machine spirits, who seek to avenge their fallen partners.
This is looking pretty great.
