Guys don't worry. Mako had an understudy Greg Baldwin who filled in for him for the second half of season 2, season 3, and anything in Korra for Avatar. He also did Aku for a video game of some kind.
Baldwin's not as good, but he's pretty damn close.

I think it would turn out like the episode where he tried making up children's stories. Pretty much all of his games would involve either obvious propaganda demonizing Jack, or hilariously OP self-inserts. Good luck disagreeing with him on anything though; he'd probably get super pissy and incinerate players. Same goes for metagaming or not paying attention.
Although having a shapeshifter for a DM would be pretty awesome, since he could make himself resemble whatever NPC he was portraying at the time. He also seems really good at disguising his voice when he needs to.
Considering the amount of carnage Aku has witnessed and committed, I get the feeling his combat narration would be awesome. That's not even mentioning his wonderful voice.
