trying to theme it around being a chaotic evil (but not total anarchy) Drow civilization with other races such as orcs and humans as a large part of the population.

Raven queen is the patron deity so the kingdom isnt completely evil, but necromancy be everywhere. And it is drow so it is a mostly matriarchal society.
>>
>>44213188

you should def make a fantasy specific one, that'd be sick.

and yeah, personally I have always loved Drow, orcs, goblins, and necromancers. And I always wanted to imagine some kind of civilized version of chaotic evil where the kingdom is run like nazi germany (IE very nationalistic and right-wing) and has all sorts occult magic.

feels nice to get to utilize my gigs and gigs of character art I have saved.
>>
>>44213283
>>44213306
Yeah what kind of autism we have here? Mine is pretty autistic with all of the fetish fuel drow I have, so how much worse could yours be?
>>
>>44213327
Maybe I will then. I just love people being expressing themselves with visual aids like that, I do the same thing when i build magic decks and such. I never build a deck if I know as a planeswalker i'd never actually want to talk to the people the army is comprised of.

>>44213341
Well i mean there's massive charts where it goes all into colonies, what that colonies economic director is, what his dog looks like, just lots of incredibly deep world building.
>>
>>44213413
Are you me then? I thought I was the only one who had this advanced autism.

I only build themed magic decks, even If I know the competitiveness will suffer because of bad cards that fit the theme too well.

That is fucking awesome worldbuilding to go into so much detail about the economic advisors and such!

Expression through fantasy visual aids is the best and it is fun because everyone always has their own very personal take on what they would like/want
>>
>>44213463
You anon, I like you.
Expression through indepth personal choice is fascinating as fuck to me.

None the less, with Magic i think about it in a real sense like.. ,I mean remember Yugioh? There would be a duelist of the week that would be a reflection of their deck, and people could identify them as such, I find that fun. I want to be somebodies Gym Leader, damnit.
>>

>>44213283
It's the one with elemental dungeons, enemies within and boss.

As for autism, I'm doing my damnest to not have a group run by single show cast. I'm doing my best to not repeat choices I've made for my previous charts. Harem I'm keeping. It was hardest thing to fill out in previous charts and my lust for women have not grown at all.
>>
>>44213525
I can never take onboard a Harem. Given the power I still don't think I could bring myself to have one. I mean, people can HAVE one, but as a King, I don't think i'd want one.

Luckily my friend group loves themed decks. We sometimes take a inexpensive card we like and build a "tribute" deck around it. I have a Titan Forge tribute deck. My friend's Bronzebeak Moa deck is almost unbeatable by non-serious decks.

Cunning and strength.
I want the best. I want the knights who look the strongest, the mages who look the smartest, and the one's closest to me to be the most honorable.

Though almost everyone under me is evil, this also keeps them from working together against me. If they are all competing for my affections and power, then they wont unite and overthrow me because they are busy with eachother.

Not that I would let that happen as I would keep them busy with conquest and subjugation of other kingdoms so they may not focus on my own.

I also look for uniformity to go with the nationalistic ideals of my kingdom. When people are proud of themselves there is less treachery.

I have an explaination for everything in my kingdom... I was REALLY bored. Suffice it to say that the harem is extra slots for heroes, as far as I'm concerned. If they can't help the kingdom AND look great doing it AND have a fine personality that will make them the darlings of the realm, they don't get in.

Sounds like a good plan! I don't think we'd even be doing business with super evil Kingdoms. But at least with the demon envoy, if something happened to her then we could just summon her back.

>>44250671
Looks pretty warlike. Are you more into research and discovery, or are you more into conquering stuff?
>>
>>44251127
I... havent tought about it at the time!

>>44251135
Interestingly, research and discovery. But being a walking nation that eat resources like candy and has very unfriendly looking individuals, how much time until a Paladin order, a stupid group of adventurers or a grumpy reign of dwarfs thinking I passed over their inexistent border start attacking at every moment.

The other problem is that the generals are all addicted to war, so I bet I would need some walking platforms solely dedicated to them to fight battles against each other on some Moba style fights. We throw skeletons with clubs from each side to beat each other up and let the generals and some knights have their fun and training as long as they don't break anything expensive.

The council is mostly made by nice people with ugly faces. Court nobles are a mixed bag of assholes, good people and bait for the assholes.

I bet after all that we still are labelled evil because of looks and methods, but eh. Also, if someone attacks, we will just sit our city over theirs, grab everything of interest (people too) and go away.

You might not have hostile intentions, but if you're taking other people's resources then they might not take to kindly to that. Of course, they shouldn't refuse to negotiate just because they don't like your council's looks.

In the Amazon Queendom, position would mostly be decided by a complicated web of courtly relationships and intrigue. So I think our Envoy and Vizier would be good at subtle negotiation. We might not be high tech, but a army of brave knights who practice by going on quests for treasure and artifacts supported by some very powerful sorceresses I think would be enough to stop most people from messing with us. And we wouldn't be automatically hostile to anyone. Most of our resources would go to making life comfortable for the noble class so they can devote their time to the constant struggle for royal recognition and titles. Kind of like ASOIAF, only much less violent and with Amazons.

If a kingdom is friendly enough, sure, the technocracy will trade the resources for something of the other's liking.
But you know what I meant about the looks. A bunch of undead, demons, goblinoids, robots and more "common" races are wandering around in huge cities, eating magic and matter alike where they pass. Some orders or guilds will simply be completely pissed that the dark and full of skulls and evilness kingdom is having fun and doing science.

Also, yours seems quite like one of these drama books with a generic model in a fantasy outfit as the cover.

I don't have a problem with dark elves, or goblins, or even undead and demons, but if a Kingdom is doing nasty evil stuff to people then it might be difficult for us to get along. We still wouldn't mess with what people do inside their own Kingdoms, we just wouldn't want to get to tied up with then if we really disagree with it. That really wasn't aimed at any Kingdom in particular.

>>44253434
Yeah, I can see goody-two-shoes paladins not liking outward appearance of dark and evil, and maybe not even liking your science and magic.

Started to fill one out to use as a template when I'm in need of a kingdom for any fantasy game. Pictures are mostly selected from various Character Art threads and don't represent anyone specific.
The good thing is that I've already started to form certain ideas ans little stories in my head, that I could use for a campaign set in this kingdom.

>>44272670
Personally I think that's the most fun one can have with this thing. For example my third knight is the image of an armoured bandit and her retainers are a barbarian and a bruised and tattered soldier. At that point the questions, why she is a knight and her retainers are these unknightly guys pretty much comes automatically. And then you start thinking up a nice story and before you know it, you are already invested in your original kingdom and it's history.
>>
>>44272836
nah repeating pics even for the same role is just lazy.
Also I am drow-tits guy and I need to make my picture less than 8mb now, fuck!

I repeated one by purpose, the jester and the assassin are the same person, a good last line of defense if all shit hits the fan, and unwelcome visitors can disappear.

The knights are:
1 a very valiant goblin who is the example of a knight in shiny armor. even in this kingdom of low morals an necromancy he remains a shining spot of light. His Retainers are his trusty dog mount and a female Goblin that was throw together on the job, she isnt too happy to not be able to pillage the enemies and listen all the time to the goblin histories of chivalry.

2 a powrfull but quit civilized minotaur from the sand wastes under the walking cities. Bands of beastmen wander on the barrow ground waiting for the city to let something of value fall, but some get a spike in power and the attenttion from the fortresses over. He roams around with two naked Djin.

3 a wereelephant. also from the wastes below. He is brutal but truthful, and goes with two war comcumbines, a mix of retainers and fuck buddies. They are very happy with their job.

4 A knight came from the reing of nippon. he doesnt talk and fights in an exotic style, no one actually trusts him too much and he still needs to show his value. His retainers are two cat people he came with.

3 A literal demon, he has a liking for terrorizing his opponents, but is binded by the council demonic representant, so he cant just wreck havoc around the kingdom without orders. his retainers are two ascended warriors.

4 a mechanical knight. he is the most common of the bunch, but uses an fantasy portable power armor. his retainers are an oil boy (the plate armor guy_) and a augmented zombie to help on repairs.

5the shadowy vampire knight came to represent vampires in the army. His retainers are two common helpers; a quite fat but strong executioner fromt eh knight feud and a heavy weapons guy to give support.

Its kinda like a demilich that can float around, but prefers to have an actual body for social reasons and boning the queen . as an ancient magical floating skull, it already give no fucks for gender and sometimes appears at court in strong hulking frankeistein like bodies, delicate and feminine frames or just as a skull the queen carries around abd puts on her lap during court.
For wars he prefers a heavy duty machine with protective visors. As much as his magic could tear holes on opponents, it needs proper thinking on its reserves, so a good punch to the face might work best in most csses.
The steed is just a sleeker version of the chariot, the weapon continues being a magical gun why WoW has such weird designs? I only searched for "warxraft gun" and tried to find an magical but not spiky thing

UNHOLY FUCK I AM DONE!
I FINISHED IT! IT ONLY TOOK 3 DAYS!!

My Fascist underdark kingdom!
The population is made up of mostly drow, demons and (brown) elves, with large minority populations of humans, lightskin elves, orcs, goblins, and a few myconid fungus people.

Necromantic magic is everywhere and this makes work easy because all simple tasks skeletons and zombies do. This means the average peasant has plenty of free time to learn a trade or become educated. Many join the military, although the demographics in the military (that aren't skeletons) tend to be very skewed towards orcs and male humans.

Because this is a mostly drow kingdom that worships a female god, the society is highly matriarchal. All noble positions are filled by wealthy women, who are almost all magically skilled. Men are typically expected to do something related to the military or with magic. Also males upon maturity who are not magically or martially gifted are killed and turned into skeletons. However because death is revered, this is seen as a great honor for someone who lacked potential, and accepted in the society.

The religion of the kingdom worships the Raven Queen, and therefore reveres death and the undead (aka why turning a big chunk of the population into skeletons is OK). So Liches and necromancy is widely accepted.

Demons are also often summoned by skilled warlocks and 10 of the wisest demons are personally bound to the King as his personal council! Seeing demons walking around is common and they are shown the same respect as a normal citizen.

Wars are a constant reality in this very nationalistic kingdom and are almost always for recourses and rare goods. The military is very large and focused outward on raiding weaker kingdoms; taking what it wants, and leaving the remains of the kingdom to rebuild.

Overall the quality of life in the kingdom is good and the typical individual is not *that* evil, but the kingdom as a whole is seen as pretty evil.

Nice! I like how it’s not-so-evil but misunderstood. And the Judge is a good pick too.

I made a new and improved Amazon Queendom. Mostly small changes, some are from suggestions from other anons.

>>44276545
Writefagging it is! Whole history of the Amazons and everything! I just tried to figure out how a land like I started to describe in some of my other posts might actually start.

The Amazons were originally nomadic horse tribes riding across the plains hunting and trading. They were extremely peaceful and didn't know how to fight or protect themselves. Although some Amazons are born magically inclined, their magic was not strong because they lacked schools and books to study magic. Beauty was the most important thing to the Amazons, so power and influence went to the most beautiful ones. Unfortunately, this caused many Amazons to be very jealous. Wife kidnapping and horse stealing became big problems.

Neighboring Kingdoms grew tired of tribal Amazons kidnapping women (which can become Amazons with a magical ritual), and stealing horses and other valuable things like jewelry. One day a powerful empire (maybe one in this thread?) got angry over the thieving Amazons and attacked them. Since the Amazons weren't fighters, many were killed or captured. The rest were forced to run away in search of a new home.

Continued…..
>>
>>44278309

The first new place they discovered was a forest full of unfriendly Elves. The Amazons didn't know what to do. But while they camped at the edge of the forest thinking about their predicament, an envoy from a Kingdom that didn't get along with the Elves (another one in this thread?) offered them weapons in exchange for peace and trade later. The Amazons agreed. They didn't know how to fight, but they were hungry and desperate and conquered the Elf forest. They captured many Elf women and performed the rituals to convert them to Elf-Amazons. The Elf men were killed or exiled. Some of the starving Amazons drank the Elves’ blood and were cursed with vampirism, which would cause problems later.

The Amazon Queendom was established when the Amazons voted to make the two most beautiful of their kind their Queens. But the Queens quickly realized that the Amazon tradition of position being chosen by beauty wasn’t working, and that the old tribes were all either dead or all mixed up. Not to mention all of the new Elf-Amazons… So the most beautiful Amazons who were already respected were made into the new noble class and put in charge of the lower Amazons. The nobles were then given titles and positions for what they were best at. The lower class did menial work to support the nobles while the nobles explored their new forest home and the ruins of the Elf civilization.

Unfortunately for the Kingdoms who wanted to use the “barbarian” Amazons as a tool, they Amazons found many Elvin books on magic and magical items. So the latent magical ability of the Amazons was awakened, and some became very powerful Sorceresses. Plus, two bloody wars and a bunch of questing nobles had now made the Amazons good at fighting and taking care of themselves. The Amazons’ new settled lifestyle, love of beauty, and wealth from the pillaged Elf Kingdom is transforming the Amazon Queendom into a sophisticated, opulent land. But there are still issues for them to overcome.
>>
>>44278317
Last One

Many Kingdoms don’t trust the Amazons who once had a reputation of thieves, and now barbaric conquerors. Inside the Queendom Elf-Amazons are highly prized for their beauty, but beauty no longer means status and Elf-Amazons are mostly kept as servants and harem girls by full Amazons. Some aren’t happy with this unfairness. But the biggest challenge of all is that old traditions die hard and Amazons still tend to get very jealous. Instead of stealing things though, now the jealousy comes out in vicious court intrigue and competition for titles and positions. The most dangerous of these competitors are the Amazon Vampires who can use their immortality and eternal youth and beauty to spin long and complicated plots. With the discovery of magic, the use of black magic in court intrigue is growing. And the summoning of female Demons has led to the ritual creation of Amazon Demons whose abilities and desires are not yet known. The Queens of the Amazons have their hands full dealing with these new challenges, trying to establish relationships with their new neighboring Kingdoms, and exploring the vast forest Kingdom they’ve acquired…..

My kingdom is coming along alright.
With the scenery in place I have now decided, that the main feature of the realm are big grassy plains. The realm has a coastal area, where the capital is located, that is mostly dominated by cliffs. A mountain range on the northern border acts as a natural barrier and the dwarven kingdom there is a preferred trading partner.
Horses are not common to these lands, however big terror-birds roam the plains and have been domesticated. They also serve as the basis of the cavalry. While good mounts and also a great source of food, they are not necessarily great beasts of burden. Carts and wagons are usually pulled by great oxen with horns as broad as a man is long.
The royal knights are all appointed by the king himself and act as heroes of the realm in his name. While most of them are noble heroes, the announcement that Lady Violet (knight 3) would become a royal knight had caused more than only raised eyebrows. The bandit queen, as she had also been known, has however shown that while she may not be the most noble, polite or even nice person, her loyalty is unquestioned.
The kingdom's army is led by four generals. Lord General Karen is responsible for the army as a whole while her three comrades are each responsible for one part of the army: cavalry, infantry and navy.
The infantry general, while quite young, is an astounding good tactician and was single-handedly responsible for defeating the last orcish invasion before it could reach the main farmlands of the kingdom. His only regret is that he won't see much action as a general.
The royal guard is the object of many speculations and gossip. All appearing in a uniform armour and with masked faces and bodies, the rumours range from them being beautiful women, over magical constructs or golems, to demons. The truth is that they are normal, if elite, soldiers but the guard armour is enchanted and creates the illusion of perfectly similar guards in all aspects.

The Lord Councillor Gram might be half orcish, but apart from his looks there is nothing orc about him. As an enthusiastic fashion aficionado he likes the finer things in life and while the more rural areas of the kingdom might still object to him, the capital has fully accepted him.
The Dreistein family is rumored to hace ogre blood somewhere in their ancestry. Looking at Lord Camillo Dreistein this does seem to be a distinct possibility, seeing as he is weighting more than five grown man together. However the Dreistein family holds the only free pass over the mountains to the north and nobody in their right mind would want to anger them by mentioning something like this to his face.
The executioner of the kingdom is an animated armour and sword. This has been introduced several hundreds years ago, after some ugly incidence that involved a bribe and a very slow, painful and messy execution. The old executioner was the first subject of the new, stoic and impartial method.

Putting Jar-Jar as your Groom of the Stool?

>The Groom of the Stool (formally styled: "Groom of the King's Close Stool") was the most intimate of an English monarch's courtiers, whose physical intimacy naturally led to him becoming a man in whom much confidence was placed by his royal master and with whom many royal secrets were shared as a matter of course. This secret information he was privy to—whilst it would never have been revealed, to the discredit of his honour—in turn led to him becoming feared and respected and therefore powerful within the royal court in his own right. The office developed gradually over decades and centuries into one of administration of the royal finances, and under Henry VII, the Groom of the Stool became a powerful official involved in setting national fiscal policy, under the "Chamber System."

>Insulatia, the massive island in the middle of the pacific
Set in the turn of the century, this former colony is full of resources and an unholy mix of different settlers and natives, living in relative harmony under a totalitarian monarch that enforces unity to King and Country, rather than "Petty things such as hair colour."
The island has allready become industrialized, and can practically feed itself if it so needs to, something perhaps nescecary to its' chilly relationship to their former colonial power, and practically every superpower that have tried to conquer its' cliffs and jungles, but to no avail. The monarchy itself established itself only a few years ago, rising up from the ashes of the colony after it had been embroiled in a civil war that tore its' infrastructure apart. This monarchy took power through rigorous discipline and practically zeal in their cause; To restore and keep the peace, and make Insulatia both respected and feared. And it's working well, the large island churning out a record number of great diplomatic and strategic mind ever since its' conception, leading to a web of secret alliances that would tear the country apart if it was manouvered by anyone except the extremely capable people making it a disliked but self-sustaining former colony, where goverment work is mandatory and prisoners are treated as cattle, but worse.

So how do you guys imagine your self-inserts?
What do they look like? What are their personalities like/are they different from your own?
Where did you get your inspiration for them from?

Even though I have brown hair and look pretty average, I have always loved the blonde haired interesting-villain archetype that is really common in anime.
That's why I imagine my fascist leader to be a mix of Char from gundam, and DIO from JoJo.
Dio's pragmatism and physical might, along with Char's patience and reasonability (in a fascist pro-zeon way that isnt exactly reasonable but he doesnt seem like a hothead like dio is what I mean)

I am also pretty reserved and bland in person, but I imagine my kingdom's king as a really flashy and flamboyantly stylish guy who rides into combat with troops and does crazy stuff cause it looks cool and stylish.

I imagine his flaws as being too rule-of-cool, and being somewhat impractical in combat and being too gaudy with decorations.

If it doesn't look like you and doesn't have your personality, is it really a self-insert?

I mean, I'd love to rule my kingdom, sure, but I have no-where NEAR the charisma, intelligence, or battle prowess to pull it off. I'm not as good with people as a monarch needs to be; I'm too soft-hearted; I think inside the box too much; I'm adverse to hardship and pain; I get discouraged easily, etc. etc. I hold no illusions that, as I am now, I could NEVER be a king

Maybe after a LOT of adventure, trial and hardship. I'd be in my mid-forties at the least, haggard, hard-eyed and regretting the loss of his youth to so much strife. For all my exhaustion however, I would remain unbowed, proud and supported in the knowledge of what I have built and united, to be left to whoever should prove themselves most worthy. No child have I sired (at least, none that could claim more legitimacy than the others) and I do not wish the kingdom to slowly slide into decadence and decay after my end, so let it go to the most worthy, as chosen by The Trials.

And may their reign bring them more happiness than mine did...

Amazons are very talented at lots of things so they could be good for eugenics. Be careful though because they like to plot, so keeping Amazons around Succubi and dark Elves might be a recipe for disaster!

>>44282909
There'd be a magical ritual to convert women of other races to Amazons. I imagine it as being pretty magical realm. Anyway, there'd be a lot going on in the Queendom. Lots of excitement and room for adventure.

they would probably be kept as slaves and not trusted. Also due to the strict but opulent military like structure of the kingdom, there wouldnt be much room for plotting. atleast not the kind that would be helpful for one's self.
punishment would probably be getting fed to spiders, or turned into a drider, or getting raped to death by the orcs, or fed to vampires, or sacrificed to demons.

>I like how you have some background for named characters and not just the Kingdom in general.

I want to use this as a easy to use fill-in kingdom when running a fantasy campaign. So background for named characters is atm more important than the history of the kingdom itself. Though I guess with expanding background for individual characters comes an expanding history of the kingdom quasi automatically.

Concerning your fluff, you didn't specify (at least not in your last couple of posts), but I assume the Amazones have a kind of way to reproduce between women alone, right? or do they "reproduce" only by stealing foreign women and converting them?

Starting to run low on fitting images, so now I'm just going through MTG pictures and searching for fitting stuff. Council and Court will be a hard task to fill with interesting art that can stand on its own.

Fluff-wise I got the religion down. The main church is centered around the sun-mask, a mask with a sun shaped stone in it. Wearing it allows for visions by the god. The religion itself is mostly lawful-neutral and centres around the idea of order and civilization as a means to shield from the evil in the world. The church has become more and more of a bureaucratic behemoth with complex rituals, paperwork and power structures. The oracle is a kind of rogue element outside of the church that appears in the city and is a beacon of hope especially for the downtrodden. She takes the appearance of a young woman with wings made of stained glass. Her first appearance has been just weeks after one of the smaller churches that catered to the poor citizens had been shut down and her wings resemble the broken stained glass windows of that particular church.

I just meant that women from other races could become Amazons with a magic ritual that would be rather lewd. They'd still be themselves and they'd still be their own race. Just they would be Amazons also. So it's not a huge transformation, but it's important.

>>44285875
Being turned to Driders isn't to bad, but the rest of those are pretty horrible. We might have to try and get our sisters back if we heard about things like that happening to them.

Using these templates for fantasy world building is a neat idea.

Women can be converted into Amazons with the right magic, but Amazons reproduce in their own special way.

Also in another note, still working on my kingdom. Goinf a lot slower because I simply started editing the images to fit into the theme.

Still need to add an religious part and already have a idea on what it will be.

The kingdom started after a young warlock got the strangest objective: He wanted to marry night itself. It wasnt a poetical way of saying, he fell in love with a concept. He had dreams where he saw the night as a person, always far from his reach, staring at him emotionless. After years of shady researchs and study in a multitute of areas, he started to partake with an race of demons of shadow, who saw him as one of his kin.
They said he could end his quest, but the way was longer than the mortal vessel he used could handle. They could give him a stronger, more resilient one, but they wanted as payment his ability to dream. Confident that he could finish it, he accepted. They gave him the teachings of necromancy and lichdom, but now every night they ate his dreams andreplaced them with mockeries mortals call nightmares. Selena, mistress of night, shadow and the inhabitants of that realm, who the umbral demons were direct descendents was unsatisfied. She was watching the dreams of a interesting mortal who seems to have got an strange liking for her creation, but they seemed to have suddenly ceased after years.

Sorry for the bad grammar, I'm getting a bit too much into the kingdom makng I think

>Strongest in the kingdom
I never really understood this. If the king's that strong, why does he need a champion at all? Granted, Link may not be the strongest in my kingdom by raw power, but I chose him because he's definitely a more competent fighter than I am and he's used to overcoming a wide variety of situations.

A king is not the best warrior; he is a statesman, a councilor, a judge, a negotiator, a diplomat, a trader, a commander and only sometimes (especially in less civilized or advanced kingdoms) a knight or warrior. Personally, I'd add scholar and moral compass to that list, but that's just me.

I do agree though; why have a harem if you're just in rape-mode? The women in mine are given the position as an honour for their inner or external beauty; to grant them recognition as the kingdom's idols and darlings - its stars, if you will, as well as agents for when I need someone with the strength, personality and abilities to solve a problem (and look gorgeous doing it). And yes, an invitation is also shorthand for, "The king wishes to court you," but the choice on where that relationship goes is primarily hers.

Continuing with fluff about culture because some people seem interested.

Amazon nobles live in small stone castles on the frontiers of their new home. A castle will have an extravagant throne-room/dining hall where the noble can show off her wealth and status an love of beautiful things. The rest of the castle will usually be simple and bare, designed for defense and for supporting a small band of questing knights. All the knight Amazons are dedicated to exploring the former elf forest and ruins in search of magic artifacts, treasure, and ferocious creatures to slay. They're driven by a desire to be recognized by the Queens and be invited to the palace for a court position or be made into noble who run their own castle.

Every castle will have at least one Sorceress most of the time. All Amazons that are recognized for having magic potential are sent to study at the magic university on the Queens' palace grounds. When ready, they either serve as royal Sorceresses or are sent to noble's castles to help with quests and to make sure the nobles stay loyal to the Queens. The powerful Sorceresses are kept from trying to take over by having competition, grudges, and all kinds of drama fostered between them so that they could never cooperate. They either are encouraged to compete for royal positions or sometimes manipulated with demon Amazons spreading rumors or starting love triangles between them.

The Queens live in a luxurious palace that is home to many Sorceresses and their students as well as generals, advisers, champions. The most sought after position is the vizier and royal harem who spends the most time speaking with them. They also keep an entourage of courtiers who get cycled between castle duties and the palace so they don't have to much time to plot. They do anyways though. Sometimes one of the Queens will personally lead a expedition into the vast unexplored forest in search of another lost city.

Finally back from paying bills.

With the help of all the shade demons the now quite old warlock binds his soul into his skull, turning into an immortal undead. Before the surge of power came to him, they cast a weak spell to temporarily bind his power inside the skull and start an slower rite, a foul dance that would finally lock him in that weak state. The demons finally made a pocket dream machine to satiate their hunger bu betraying the warlock. He just waited as an umovable skull as they continue, until a ray of moonlight passes by the rite and alerts the goddess about her stupid childrem trying to take her favorite mortal pet as their own. The clouds embraced the sky above the place and the great white eye stared directly at the dance, making the demons feel her presence and stop, startled. At last, a thin ray of moonlight delved deep into the skull hollow eyes and forced its way into the lich mind, and for the first time, the night and its lover stared into each other for real. She wasnt an observer from afar this time, but actually tapping directly into his emotions, feeling them.
Flattenned, she needed to give a gift for her poor ignorant admirer. With the web of spiders, the night catched a piece of the sky and made hair; With her clouds she made soft and pale skin; with the dew of twilight she made blood flow into her new creation. As a soul she was unsure, the demons were too evil by nature, the animals of her night were smart, but simple in nature. So with a bit of pity, she tore the lich soul into two, fusing a piece into the new body she made. Finally with an strong ray of moonlight that got deep into the new body dead eyes, she awakened an her avatar. It had a mind of its own and as soon as it awakened it took the skull on the arms and hugged it hard against her chest.

That was the night that the King and the Queen married.

For days she nursed her weakenned husband. Dunring that time, the demons, scared from their "mother" comming in person, swore their (shaky) loyalty for the sacred couple. Thetwo only wanted solitute as two immortal creatures in deep love would, and there the sneaky childrem found where to get their vengeance. Hidden in the shadows of daylight, they ventured into many places and settlements and implanted inside mortals and immortals alike the visage that Selena, their deity and patron, was into th land. Slowly many creatures started to search for the muse, and it was only a matter of time until they found both stargazing in the middle of a grassland. Some got startled at the lich, others at the simplicity of their goddess, but almost all were welcome as visitors to the two, even if uninvited. They were too young as a couple and too deep in love to understand what was happenning.

>>44307841
Yep, I meant flattered, sorry.
>>
>>44308128
Ok, after that last one, I'm using a grammar checker.

The once small number of people turned into a settlement, and slowly into a small town, and after a century huge temples were being erected in her name and sometimes into her husband's name, and people started asking guidance. Conflicts erupted all the time, as vampires and demons wasn't welcome around portals like elves and humans, but they were all packed in a very tight space.
As the couple honeymoon finally faded, they saw the size of the problem that appeared around them;huge cities and temples were all scattered on the horizon, great furnaces, erected by dwarves and goblins alike burned trees that they both doesn't even remember existing around them. an unorganized cult was built all around them and their blindness to the world around lets it grow against her will. Both were furious. The demons were happy, their plan had worked after all.
They can't let it continue, it was already too developed two simple be destroyed, and even now the goddess ego echoed into her avatar mind. Someone needed to grab the pieces together and make something out of it.
>>
Using her influence over her lover, she started giving him ideas of power. HE was a strong Lich, and if they were a cult to his wife, they needed a high priest of sorts to guide them to the right path. Who more fitting than the one in deep love with the goddess itself?
With that in mind, the sacred couple came for the first time for the public. Soon a number of faithful came to watch the two talk, as until that time both were pretty passive on their interaction with everyone. The queen demanded nothing, as her paper was always behind the curtains; the king wanted the most capable and skilled men, women and things in every area, and so they came.
Dwarves and elves, demons, vampires, humans and any monster came into their presence, discussion and fight soon followed. The only thing maintaining any form of order was the Queen presence. With the King's help, they took the ones that saw fit and started making a block of power with the simple task of organizing the society into something less chaotic.
The sudden change in power wasn't smooth; old leaders, false prophets and boastful war chiefs were slowly being cut down from the society, making parts of the population simply try to dethrone a god. The era that came after being a long, tiresome infighting into the city that has gone for two generations.
Finally, they both got their rightful place at the top of the society, getting themselves between trusted creatures in the main temple, who at that time was fortified enough to be called a religious fortress. From there on, was just a question of time to control the rest of the society, and unite the once hostile races under a unique banner. A vampire and a human would still throw some insults at each other on the street and elves and dwarves would bicker, but there were no more murders and sudden disappearance.

And there is how the kingdom was made.
>>
>>44309028
Hmm... Fairly believable, actually! Not bad at all.

>>44306735

The kingdom is made of an irregular number of walking temples and flying machines that wander like an animal caravan around. Each temple has a father, whose objective is to see the short term future and guide the walking giant of stone on a safe route. The most important ones are the temples around the Queen giant fortress, and all temples are in a silent war to see who can get the nicest spot on her shadow.

The council is made of appointing individuals that the queen and King accept as worthy, all but one may the changed at any time by their word. The only fixed member is the female demons who danced with the king on her hands in the ritual of binding, as she is the most influential of the shade demons and has interesting ideas, but is very interested by the royalty by her double betrayal in the past. She needs to be around the temple halls at all times, just in case. the others are representative of the most prominent races of the kingdom, being them humans, dwarfs, undeads, aberrations and beastman. They try to maintain an organized hierarchy under then individually and retire their rivals in the court room.

The races live in segregated communities within the temples, sometimes an entire temple being being occupied entirely by members of one. The exception being the main fortress, as the place is welcoming of anyone and people doesn't stop flying in and out of the main streets to the flying ships and zeppelins that are used to transport them to other walking temples.

That mixing of culture in the middle made some interesting advances happen; where before zombies done the hard work, now augmented ended things and modified clones worked with higher efficiency. Magic is taught as a science and mixed in the daily life of the citizens. The strong flux of mana helps the city 'heart' pump, maintaining the arcane construct relatively intact.

The kingdom and clones

While all races thrive, the idea of how the night created the queen also made a new type of pariah, the clone. Advancements in the arcane art let wizards, warlocks and engineers together make the discovery that they could copy a person in the body to a degree. The bad part is that that new creature for some reason had a simple soul of an animal, and by the same history that made their discovery possible, they turned into a shunned race of common laborers and test subjects in laboratories.

They live in small communities on all temples, being treated with disgust by the bad and pity by the good, the good life they normally can get is of a part of some family. It's taboo to have relationships with clones, as it is seen as having a fetish for the original person and to set it you take a bad copy of them. Clones after their awakening rarely show the same personality than their point of origin and normally are very docile.

Interestingly, every guard on the Queen's inner garden is a clone. It is unknown for what purpose or why she only choose from the cloned masses, the theories being:
1- She dislikes the presence of people on her chambers other than the king, and prefers the company of animals 2- She pities them and feel some kinship because of her origin.
3- She trusts, then for some unknown reason, might be their sterile souls?
4 These pale visages are her true childrem, and the worthy sucessors of the kingdom.

The most popular opinion is the former, the most disliked the later. No one who is close to her says her true motives, so all the masses can do is speculate.

Might change clones to hominculi, mm...

Also how and Queen guard looks. They dislike clothes, so the huards go as naked as they can. Their members have enchanted ornaments that are made to fine tune their umpredictable movement, add on equilibriun and help their reflexes. They dont talk and communicate using a series of hand gestures to each other. They are normally seen doing tasks like gardening or playing with each other when out of guard duty.

Now I see how close to magical realm their idea might be, oh well.

That's kind of a oversimplification of who they are, but basically >>44275423 a Kingdom ruled by dark Elves and Succubi with armies of undead and Orcs attacked the Amazons and were enslaving them to use for their eugenics! So Amazons had no home or food and were afraid of invading Kingdom. Then another Kingdom gave them weapons and they invaded in total desperation and probably discovered magic along the way when they found libraries and wizard schools (and it just so happened that they're good at it). Amazons value beauty more than anything else and would have no empathy at all for Elves except for ones they think are beautiful. And they were horse riding nomads, so at least to start out they probably didn't care about cities except as things in their way. Don't underestimate Amazons because they're pretty!

>I love the idea of the Queendom simultaneously having the two sides of fiery passionate emotion and cold calculating schemes

Oh my GOD, it's an entire nation of highschool bitches!

Kill it with fire!

>Yeah, things got too pvp competitive like instead of storytelling.

Urgh, I swear... Who cares if your fantasy whatever can beat up my fantasy whatever? This is supposed to be co-operative storytelling, not a dick-measuring contest about something that honestly is only limited by your descriptions!

I mean, my kingdom's champion could be SSGSS Goku and my MWD could be the fucking Halo rings; it doesn't matter, as there's nothing to stop me doing that! It's honestly more fun to keep things balanced. It's like people in a TRPG who only make characters that can kill the rest of the group. Why? Even if our motivations differ in-character, OOC, we're all here for the same reason - to have fun together!

>another Kingdom gave them weapons and they invaded in total desperation
Honestly, it's happened before. Look at the fall of Rome. Desperate, migrating people with nothing to do but train themselves to fight and live in conditions that make people harder than diamond-toughened, titanium-plated differential calculus, can utterly FUCK an unprepared or weakened 'civilized' nation.

Highschool bitches be evil. Amazons totally aren't evil. They're just people of extremes.

I think for rping you don't necessarily need a "good" group, but they need to be the right group for each other and want some of the same things.

Yeah, stuck-up Elves got nothing on angry Amazons.

I'll have to write something tomorrow; I'm utterly shattered over here.

I have definitely run out of ideas though. I'm having to resort to just drag-netting my picture folders and realising the disproportionate amount of cheesecake I have, compared to pictures of halfway-respectable people I can add to the council, or even to just the people around town. I don't want this to be a kingdom predominantly inhabited by unrealistically attractive women, dammit!

...Holy fuck, i really do need sleep.
>>
>>44314668
Thanks! I wasnt sure if I should have wrote all the love history, but things like that just happen it felt right to start with that, I dont know.
And they arent evil, just.. morally out of the axis like a mad scientist. I can see then calmly trading things with amazons for example, I bet they would want to clone one to make amazon homunculi.

And about the great emotions, at least they arent like drows who only have the cold calculating schemes. And they are dolthraki like then? Why a nation of pretty warrior nomads would be scared of a nation of religious nomads?

>Yeah, things got to pvp competitive like instead of storytelling

And they really wanted to compete into a game about making a kingom with anyone and anything you like? Bleh.

Kind of like a cross between a squire and a butler. They see to their master's needs, fight for him, perform domestic chores, but unlike a squire, he's under no obligation to train them. They're like household servants.

God here it is at last... Still not finished, but a little more progress. I have no idea where I'm going to find everything I need for this.

Greetings, travelers! I know every face in the city and that's no meager feat; yours however are not so familiar. It's good to see our humble home is attracting visitors again. Pardon my forwardness, but would you mind keeping an old man company? I spend so much time within the walls of the library and scriptorium these days, I would welcome the company. Why don't I give you the tour? Stay a while and listen; maybe you'll learn something useful?

Where to begin? Well did you know that this kingdom is only just recently undergoing a rebirth? There are still those younger than me that can remember the days before the High King brought peace to the warring nobles that warred over this land. Two elven lifetimes ago, some eight or nine hundred years, the last royal line died out amid courtly infighting, famine and bankruptcy. The lords declared themselves kings and all fought over what was left, turning the whole land into a patchwork of constantly-shifting, blood-soaked and more-or-less lawless fiefdoms. As soon as any one power got too strong, the others would ally against them and pull them apart, before turning on one another and trying to seize anything they can from the defeated lord's lands.

As you can imagine, a place like that attracted mercenaries like starving wolves to a bloody carcass. One of those groups was called the Fengrun. They were less of a mercenary band and more of a folk migration, constantly wandering and hiring out their services as sell-swords to whoever could pay them in food and gold to keep their families from death's grasp. It was into this band that our present High King was born. Not to their chief, but to one of his huscarls. He was already a young man when the Fengrun arrived here and had a small reputation among his people for being good, fair and generous. When he saw the state of the land, it ignited a spark of ambition within him. He saw that this could be more than just another place to find a paymaster; given the right hand, it could be a place of greatness and peace - a place for his people to finally have a home. So he banded together a third of his people and split off from the Fengrun host, leaving his enraged father and chief behind. They would meet again in time, but nothing great was ever achieved without tragedy and loss, I'm sorry to say.

The future king's first stop was the elven settlements at the borders of the Whitespine Mountains. A strange place to find elves, I'm sure you'll agree, but these were not your usual variety. Long ago, they had been cast out of the forest - not all at once, mind you, but in small groups or alone. They were the descendants of criminals and dissidents, or else refugees. They were not well liked by the petty kings that fought over the land and so when the Fengrun's separatists offered them their services just for the food, they readily agreed! Our future monarch helped unite the various scattered settlements into a cohesive whole - even today, they are a self-governing part of the kingdom, a republic that swears fealty to the crown. His efforts to not only ward off, but actively strike out at the kings putting pressure on the elves, helped create their first senate.
