I want to build a special army, /tg/. I don't want to make a vanilla Space Marine army, but I don't want to go full xeno either, so I came up with an idea similar to the old Deffwotch campaign.

The premise:
> Xenos have everything needed to start a space marine chapter, either through theft or reverse-engineering of Imperial STCs
> They are using it to infiltrate the Imperium for some reason
> they must actually wear the power armor, use the vehicles, etc.
> Chaos Space Marines didn't do it since they already have SM equipment
> Tyranids didn't do it since it is against their nature, but genestealer marines aren't impossible
> Mechanicus could have just put servitors in power armor, but other Imperial factions had nothing to do with it
> The Imperium has no idea that they aren't real marines, let alone a chapter. Think Deffwotch.

First to roll a 7 decides which species did this. Every 7 after that is a detail about the chapter, and it takes 3 votes to remove a detail from our canon.

Depends on the relationship between the Squats and the Imperium.

I see a lot of bad blood between the Squats and their ancestor worship vs. the Imperium and it's God-Emperor.
