Have you ever had a session where everyone played the same Class?

Why does Bartz look like a woman in this picture?

The worst thing about this comic is that someone decided to specialize in evocation.
>>44121458
Still rather spec Evoc than Enchant.
Yeah, all bards.
Also all rogues, that was fun.
>>44121458
Evocation is fun as fuck.
>Chain Lightning
>Force Cage
>Meteor Swarm
I give no fucks about out of combat twaddle.
>>44121545
Blaster wizards are fucking shit.
Haste your party and you do way more damage.
>>44121502
Enchantment is damn fun to play. Problem being that its less a power device and more so just for a fun story if a DM is willing to work with you.(Not all undead and golems)

Never have but fuck does Galuf look fabulous.

Macross just keeps getting weirder, huh.

Actually in an all wizard game right now. Not too far off, we're all running with different specializations. We don't have enough for all schools, but we've got a pretty decent representation. I'm the happy-go-lucky necromancer, and the only reason I didn't roll an enchanter is because I played on in my last campaign.
I'm preparing to run a DFRPG where all players will be wardens of the white council. While this doesn't necessarily put them all in the same skill set I anticipate a lot of Evocation and Spellsword goobery.
I once played in a Harry Potter inspired D&D 3.5 all-caster game back in 2005ish. We were all teenage students at a mage academy. It was short-lived but we had some fun with it.

The one Warden that focuses on crafting is gonna be a badass .
>>44123404
Tell me about it, "yeah so I used the down time between sessions to make a few dozen force rigns and charged them by placing them on a train."
>>44123431
I'm that crafting player so I know how that goes.
"But GM, you said if i could justify it narratively then it wouldn't be a problem" has been said many a times by me

evocation is one of the best control specializations m8

Why use evocation when i can make an EI that drops 3 aspects, and then shoot my force ring at skill roll +6 for an almost guaranteed consequence or two without a single stress to me?
Played a campaign where all of us were barbarians. everybody maxed a different stat, all of us had 8 int. We were color themed. Power Rangers.
It's all I've ever wanted to be in, but never have and with my luck never will.
If I remember right 2e had modules made for one-class parties.
Personally I always wanted to run a game like that. A bunch of rogues get together to pull off a heist. A bunch of wizards get together to chase down a fugitive through the astral planes. A bunch of fighters get together to lay siege to a castle. A bunch of paladins get together to resolve a religious schism in the church. Etc.
But I've found that players like to be "unique". I've had some that go ahead and change their alignment/race/class just because they found another player has the same.
Anyone else ever run across that problem?

Wait. You each maxed a stat, yet you were all Barbarians?
So there was a max Wisdom and a max Charisma?
>>44121622
Fuck the party. An Evocation specialist does as much damage alone as with a group, while Mr Haste is useless by himself.

Speaking as someone who actually likes Fate here: Fuck off and die.
