People talk about Succubi a lot, but has an incubus ever showed up in your games, /tg/? If both exist in your setting, do they have any innate connection? Are they mostly distant, only being interested in other races, to the point where wanting to actually fuck a succubi is considered a deviant fetish amongst incubi, and vice versa?
The general idea I use is that incubi and succubi are just one "breed" of demons who get their sustenance from sexual desire (others get sustenance from different kinds of intense emotion). They have only a passing interest in each other, especially since touching one another can result in energy being shared, making the two demons "blow a fuse", so to speak.
I don't use either. I prefer my demons nastier than fuckdolls with horns.

In any case, in-setting, they're essentially the same "species" of demon, and one of the few with distinct genders and that can breed with humans. They essentially feed on Spirit Energy, which they take through sexual contact. They can shape-shift, but only into examples of their own gender. They can also turn insubstantial and possess people's dreams.

In my setting succubi are a species of demon, with both male and female members. The have an empire in the under plane and are a military power. Not all succubi are part of that empire; some serve other masters.
They are unusually impulsive and physically resilient, but very humanlike in their behavior. Unlike other demons, they can venture into the material plane more easily, and as such often meddle in the affairs of humans, sometimes even forming relationships with humans.
Incubi are closely related to succubi, but much more bestial in their intellect, appearance, and demeanor. Their magic is also more powerful. Succubi don't like Incubi at all. Humans don't like Incubi at all.
Other demons look down on both Succubi and Incubi. Incubi are too easily distracted to be of use and Succubi are seen as small and weak individually, but in numbers impossible to control.
