Considering only somewhat realistic options (No greatsword in each hand, magic, extra-high jumps etc), what would be the most showoff/flashy fighting style or weapon? (A combination of weapons works too)

I'd say nun-chucks, hook swords, or other Eastern styles focused on flowing movements

Bard/Monk hybrid with a meteor hammer.

Any kind of quarterstaff with glowing parts on it.

The urumi and kusarigama have to be up there. Plus any of those Chinese martial arts that involve using a spear/sword with a long trailing cloth. On the same note, cloak-and-dagger duelist stuff. Any truly huge weapon is probably going to be pretty flashy or impressive in its use. Sword gauntlets, too.

Not actually that flashy. It's fairly practical in its usage. You swing the chain to stun, disarm or trip people, then cut their arm, leg or neck with the scythe blade. Or you use the blade to block, throw them on the floor or follow up with an attack to their neck.

And that's it.

Nun-chucks were a training weapon only, to improve reflexes, speed, co-ordination and the like.
Because seriously how the fuck would you kill someone with a pair of those.
>>

its pretty flashy

I would just use the end of them and slam them into somebody's face. None of that flailing spinning shit.

By hitting them in the head?

Nice heavy pair will break bones.

>>44009654
yeah but that doesent make them any less flashy

A case of rapiers, alla fiorentino. The puffy pants help too.

Assuming ''western'' weaponry, a small sword/rapier and a parrying dagger can be pretty fucking flashy.

Spears or halberds too. You can combine the twirliness of a staff and the fast, piercing moves of a rapier.

If you're strong enough, stab a motherfucker

What they meant was that people use a kusarigama in a practical way, not that the way you see people using it in TV shows and stuff is practical. It's literally just used like a kama with an attached chain that you can beat people with.

That dumbass ribbon sword from India or whatever that's practically worthless against anybody in any kind of armor, and sounds like some asshole behind a curtain is trying to make thunder noises.
