You are Kusajishi Riku, and after escaping a situation where you may well have caused a time paradox, you've sought out Yoruichi and Ichigo in the underground training area.
After Yoruichi briefly explains how the training doll works, Mirai spares you a concerned glance.
“I can't tell you what to do,” you offer quietly. “As I've said before I trust your judgment, but I can only suggest you consider this risk carefully before you take any action.”
Your Commando shuts her eyes and ponders the situation silently, before bowing to you deeply.
“Thank you, Lady Riku. I do not think that this is the time for such a risk... especially since I feel that I am close to attaining Bankai on my own.”
You nod to her. “Well-reasoned of you. Feel free to train until we're ready to move out, it's not like we have much else to do.”
At your suggestion, Mirai leaves to find a more secluded area of the training grounds to use for her own personal training. You can feel that she's managed to manifest. It's surprising, you didn't realize that she had gotten that far along.
“It'll be embarrassing if she beats Kai to Bankai,” Rangiku observes with a sly grin.
You then proceed to update Yoruichi on the day's events: your fight against Komamura, Rangiku's defeat of Tōsen, all of it. You spare no details, and your wife listens silently for the duration. Finally, she offers a sigh.
“I think you may have been right to question Kisuke's involvement,” she admits. “You reckon Aizen is after the Hōgyoku, and that Rukia is the key to that somehow?”

“They say the Ninth Division Captain once went to Hueco Mundo, the world of the hollows, to hunt down menos. In order to counterbalance a lot of deaths in the living world. They say she killed dozens of them by herself... and didn't get a scratch!”
“Dozens?” Ichigo asks, suddenly nervous himself. “By herself?”
“Yeah!” Hanatarō insists loudly. “They also say she killed a bunch of menos even stronger than that too! They're called adjuchas, and they're at least ten times stronger than a gillian!”
Ichigo gulps loudly, suddenly quite terrified at the thought that this woman could actually be his aunt.

“That's the end of the first day,” Yoruichi announces. “Get some rest, Ichigo. You'll resume training tomorrow.”
Ichigo seems to notice you for the first time, as in the last few hours of his training session you've taken a seat together with Tenkotsuki and Rosa's manifested forms. You proffer a small cup of barley tea.
“Here,” you insist. “It's a matter of hospitality.”
“What are you doin' here!?” Ichigo demands loudly. “And who are these two women?”
“I am Tenkotsuki, one of Lady Riku's zanpakuto,” Tenkotsuki greets calmly, her many tails swaying idly as she pays the young man the barest modicum of attention.
“And I'm Rosa,” Rosa replies, taking a sip of her own tea. “I guess you can call me Riku's other sword. It's close enough to the truth.”
“You've got two zanpakuto?” Ichigo asks, his suspicion and aggravation at your presence suddenly replaced by confusion. “I didn't think that was possible.”

Meanwhile you head to the entrance to greet Renji, who has been poking around the inside of the little shack at the top of the ladder down into the training cavern. When he sees you, he tries to draw his sword only to find your hand pressed against the hilt.
“What are you doing here!?” he demands loudly.
“Laying low,” you reply calmly. “I take it my Division is under house arrest?”
“For you mauling two Captains?” he growls. “You bet your ass.”
“My ass is none of your business,” you snap, “but I could probably afford to catch you up on what's been happening.”
After a few minutes, you manage to convince Renji that you're not actually a madwoman spree-killer, and that you may be innocent of all the things people are saying you may have done. He follows you own into the training area, where Ichigo reacts to his presence with absolute shock.
“Now THIS asshole shows up? What the hell, Yoruichi!?”
“Captain Shihōin!” Renji stands up a bit straighter at the presence of another Captain. “Sorry to barge in on you, but I needed a place to finish training. I'm guessin' you know about Rukia's execution?”
Ichigo nods sternly. “I do. I'll be ready, so you better be too.”
“Save your speeches,” Renji shoots back, a strange monkey-like woman and a boy with a snake tail appearing on either side of him. “I've already manifested, so I should be ready even before you are. It's you who's gotta keep up.”

A loud splashing sound greets you after you bid Renji and his zanpakuto goodbye for the time being, as Yoruichi has thrown Ichigo into a healing hot spring.
"It's your own damn fault," she insists dismissively. "You should have just stripped like I told you."
As for you, you crash into a pool of water on the opposite side of a large boulder, allowing you to speak with your nephew without being seen. Your wife seats herself against the boulder as well, seemingly grateful for the relief.
"Babysitting these kids is too stressful," she sighs. "You keep freaking out all the time, like they could get killed at any point."
"Hey, Aunt Riku," Ichigo interrupts from his own side of the rock. "Didn't you say that Yoruichi was your cat?"
A devious glance tugs at your lips as you exchange a glance with Yoruichi.
