Had some goings on with another deity. They used to have a very good friendship with them, until he wanted to be more than just friends. He tried to broach the subject to his favored one, but was rejected every time by the other deity. They only wanted things to remain as they were.
He makes a daily voyage to the godly city to convince the time god to slow time's progression upon all things, and afterwards, indulges himself to make the most of the day. He must do this continually as the time deity is a forgetful, scatterbrained sap who forgets the deal when the day is done.
He despairs when an old night gives way to a new day, as it is still not long enough to let him completely dance away his sorrow. Yet he has bargained for the longest delay the time god will grant him.
As a side-effect, everyone else has more time in their days to do more shit as well, from the lowest bug, to the greatest divinities.
