So is Most Holy Terra meant to be Earth in the future? I was reading through some of the fluff and I think GW has put clues suggesting this. For example Terra means Earth in ancient Greek. Also one of the planets in Terras solar system is Mars - coincidence??!?!
Has anyone else noticed this and if so, is it just a running joke from GW or do think they will reveal it as a plot twist in the future, for example in one of the summer campaigns?
This isn't news, or hidden by GW. Terra is actually earth in the 41st millennium. Mentioned or obviously hinted at in many canon texts

There are some similarities, sure, but I think you're reading way too much into it. There's no way that it could actually be earth.
It's probably some retarded patois bastardization like Yrth or Uaerth or something copyrightable.

This copypasta is so stale you could construct bricks from it.

Are you actually retarded?

I swear they literally mention Earth as Terra, if not, it's blatantly obvious.
The Emperor's throne room was originally carved from either Mount Olympus or Everest, can't remember which.
Mars is the very same Mars next to Earth, they terriformed it, but countless wars and technological advances made it barren again.
The Emperor was mentioned to have been important religious figures, like Buddha and Jesus, in the past.

Trolled in your own thread. Appalling faggotry OP.

This is an old stale and moldy pasta

How do you miss this? It's not exactly like GW is subtle.

Man, some days, I can't even tell anymore what is bait and what is a retard.

Neither, it is where current GW hq is now.
The carving was the secret lab where empy made mahreens

yeah, exactly.

Oh man, I remember these threads.

This is an old fan theory. Kirby has confirmed that it's not true.
It's a funny idea to use in your home campaigns, but don't mistake head canon for what's an official part of the setting.

>This copypasta again
Oh boy...
So what do you think Earth would be like if it was put into the 40k setting?
I'm betting they'd likely have Tau-level technology, with a heavier emphasis on aerial combat and no suits.
