Why so obsessed with BBEGs, /tg/? To me it's much more important to have a good soundtrack going overall. Even more so if I'm gonna have music for the BBEG, otherwise it feels out of place to suddenly put music on. Besides, finding a soundtrack for just one fight is easy, building a solid soundtrack for an entire campaign is harder.

This was what I used for the final boss fight in a decade-long GURPS game of ours. With all those adventures behind them, the characters were already bullshit-superpowered, so all that was left to do was give them an epic final battle at the end of the universe to finish it off.
We'd used Dvorak's 9th symphony (the classical melody this is based on) as a general adventuring theme for ages already, so once I found this I decided there could be nothing else as suitable for the final battle. To set up the leitmotif further, I then dug up 7 other remixes of the melody to use as character themes for the BBEG's seven minions. All in all, it worked out pretty damn well.
