The idea behind outposts is bringing a bit of the World in question to wherever you're setting it up.
Take Rim for example, look at the theme and the effects that are prevalent across the World, then look to popular mythology for hints. Mechanically your Serfs wouldn't have the breeding restrictions in an Outpost that they have on other Worlds, and you might be able to play with the time difference to create some interesting effects. The land around one might find itself subtly shifting to be more encouraging of Conan-esque adventure, with the wildlife getting just a little bit primeval.
The hidden elf village that time passes so quickly in could be an Outpost, as could the surreal rabbit hole that leads to a place so like, but unlike Earth.
As far as Outposts go though, a Rim Outposts (different name for each one? Still an idea on the list of maybes) would be useful primarily for it being the site of a Gateway.

I find the idea of just drifting in the stars to be a relaxing one, and it was that feeling that started the idea for Kuiper.

The point of creating the Saint wasn't about God's security anyway. It's not that God was making a plan for a hitman to protect him and didn't think it through. God was perfectly secure. Sitting on his throne of eternity, surrounded by devoted seraphim worshipping night and day, no worries.

My stance is that a tempest or typhoon is a big fucking deal, and should take a day's meditation in location to bring it about. Once in place the Creator can direct it but do little to diminish it; however without the Creator's sustenance it will disperse eventually. Lightning can be conjured once without conducive weather; with conducive weather it can be brought about multiple times a minute and with good accuracy.
For others:
Demon: Solar flares are powerful bright burning blasts that blind and destroy. The user can store up to fifteen such charges, which about 4 hours of strong sunlight to 12 hours of overcast daylight to build. Up to three can be released back-to-back or at once as a powerful blast, then about half an hour must pass. Pyrokinesis is just heat manipulation, and is more powerful the warmer the Demon and its environment. In a typical room-temperature situation the Demon can light a match-stick by touching it, and then guide the flame around the room swiftly without putting it out. The Demon can create powerful but short-lived anima from large fires like bonfires, and can wreak havoc with a furnace.
Warrior: repeating my earlier input, the Warrior can summon any object that it can carry with two hands without immediate strain with which it has killed another human. It immediately knows how to use any such implement. Using ammunition-based weapons and explosives temperorally diminishes the Warrior's regeneration if spammed. The Warrior can regenerate if all three of his heart, lungs and nervous ganglia are intact and connected with vessels and nerves etc.. He can regenerate beyond the requirements of nutrition but will be weak until he eats.

Yeah I'm figuring out a way to make good, not OP and not too weak abilities + other stuff (companions, areas, mounts, gears) to expand the Quest CYOA further.
