Normally not even a debate, you should take the 1-cost instants. But in my deck, the enchantments "combo" with claws of gix and teferi's care. After they've exiled something, I can grab it back with Hanna and keep exiling permanents every turn. More durdly advantage.

Leyline is love. That being said, I have thought about cutting it in the past. However, it's either bait for removal, or it lets me flash in a win condition eot. For those reasons, it stays.
As for the removals, I don't think mine is up to date (I might fix that after work actually).
The truth of the matter is that in 90% of situations, Swords/Path will be better than O-ring and friends because they're a 1 mana instant that permanently removes a problem. Ring has the added benefit of hitting non creatures and being recurable with Hanna, which can't be ignored. This is by I run Detention Sphere. Multiple nonland targets and comes back with the commander and Sun Titan. My most recent slot was making room for Stasis Snare because while it can only hit creatures, it's an enchantment with flash, which puts it well into the realm of playable in Hanna control. I really want to use Aligned Headron Network, but it's too narrow for the mana investment.
I've put a lot of tuning into my deck, and my answer is use both. Even without Gix, having repeatable removal is never bad, and worst case scenario, you bump a commander back to the command zone. Just be careful because some o-ring effects (funny enough, not actually o-ring) will pull commanders back from the command zone of they never left when the ring dies.
Ok, so how do I make her work?
Her playstyle seems like Memnarch's, but are there any special cards, other than Leyline of Singularity, that could help her case out? Like, anything that could alter their type to Legendary Creature?

I need some suggestions for my Simic deck. I had a vorel deck and then bought the simic one today to try and make +1/+1 counters.deck work just because I love counters and the mad scientist vibe of simic. Anyway, the issue I have is that my pieces are really vulnerable to removal. My deck has to have pieces out and if my board is running it's pretty easy to fuck with. Obvious answer is counterspells and the like, and I'm probably gonna get an aspect of endurance, but is there anything else that does pretty well at protecting my guys?

You need an instant speed effect.
1) Put exile effects on the stack.
2) Bounce/flicker/sacrifice/etc Parallax Tide
The exiled lands then go under a Parallax Tide that no longer exists and are exiled forever.

The other is that it might even be helpful to my opponents. If somebody has no threats in hand, people will leave them alone. However, because my hand is always hidden, people will always see me as a threat.

Of course legend isn't a creature type. Shapesharer can turn shapeshifters into copies of other creatures though. So you use Unnatural Selection to turn a creature into a shapeshifter, and then turn it into a copy of a legend to steal it.
You'll probably need that leyline that stops the legend rule for this to work.

I basically want ensure nobody ever draws anything fun, but I need a way to stop threats that get through. Ensnaring bridge won't work, since I'd like to use the combat step too. Any ideas?
