Which quest would you take first?
-A newly built inn offers a free room for whenever you like if you manage to bring back some monstrous head from the dark forest, preferably a dire wolf or similar, so that it can be stuffed and mounted over the fireplace.
-A little girl offers the party three copper pieces in exchange for escorting her to the next town's cemetery to lay flowers on her mother's grave.
-A farm has been attacked by a band of halfling bandits. The mayor offers six month's wages to anyone who tracks them down and brings them to justice.

With current character: Going by importance, bandits obviously win, but urgency goes to the girl - shouldn't take more than an hour or so, right? Plenty of time to go take care of the bandits after.
That said, the rest of the party are greedy fucks. If I could talk my DM into it, I'd say he'd split up briefly and catch up later (perhaps by blowing spells or with a mount), but alas we are ultimately beholden to the character-splitting principle.
First the bandits, they're a danger to the good people of the town.
Then the little girl, she deserves to pay her respects to her mother.
The head can wait until last.
My character would probably help the girl first, because he lost his mother young. He'd probably do it for free.
Knowing my DM, I take the little girl escort quest, knowing that i'll wind up fighting at least 1 mega-fauna monster along with the halfling bandits on the way to the next town.

Knowing my DM, we'll wind up awakening some horrible monster in the graveyard along with a hoard of skeletons, and half of us will die while the rest of us will escape only to live bitter lives, refusing to ever help anyone ever again.

The monster quest can be done if you fight a monster on the road, and rooting out the bandits might be a wild goose chase.

The little girl, tracking the bandits will be a large time investment and even if the little girl is leading us to some big scary death trap, it's probably a bit more up there on the priority list than bandits
