Hmmmmm Hmmmmmmmmmm
>>43545873
What is that? A chapter of ants?
What's an Alpha Legion?
>>43549105
>them rusemasters
Jesus, why can't HYDRA be half as based as Alpha Legion?
>>43545873
What is a chapter?
>>43545873
>>43549105
So how much of the Ultramarine's current strength in astartes and human auxilia is actually Alpha Legionnaires in disguise?
>>43549167
All of them. Even Robby G himself is actually just Alpharius. Or Omegon.
>>43549195
Alpharius and Omegon are actually a pair of Squats in Space Marine armour.
>>43549105
So wait, are these the good alpha legion or the bad alpha legion?
>>43549428
Yes
>>43549428
Alpharius went traitor, Omegon stayed Loyal and became the first grant master of the Grey Knights
>>43549428
>implying Alpha aren't all loyalists
>>43549475
So are these the good alpha legion or the bad alpha legion?
>>43549514
A little.
>Khornate warband
>specializes in daemonmancy, the summoning of daemons
Hmmmmm....
>>43549514
>implying Alpha aren't all Chaos
>>43545873
> Unknown founding, possibly Cursed 21st
> Claim descent from Ultramarines, but their geneseed has notable variations and the Ultras deny association
> Based out of a Mobile Fortress-Monastery named Raptorus Rex (Word Bearers prior to HH had an ancient ship with the same name)
> Fervent devotees to the Imperial Cult; very close ties to Ecclesiarchy
> Known for desolating and burning enemies in close-combat; specifically target enemy civilians and cultural symbols
> After disappearance, they manifest as the Imperial equivalent of daemons
Hmmmmm....
>>43549777
how about you actually name the chapter senpai?
>>43549777
The Word Bearers Raptorus Rex was a Battle Barge. The Fire Hawks Raptorus Rex was a Star Fortress of some sort.
>>43549844
Fire Hawks
>>43549869
It's unlikely that it's the same ship, but recycling names for vessels has pretty potent connotations, especially for a name (formerly) used by a Traitor Legion.
The fact that it was gifted to the Fire Hawks specifically under the orders of Sebastian Thor is noteworthy.
The WB's Raptorus Rex was later renamed to Infidus Imperator, if I remember right. The Fire Hawks using the old name for the similarly ancient homebase of theirs could be pretty potent symbolism.Especially if they're Loyalist Ashen Circle
Is there a chapter that seems like the Night Lords? I used to think Space Sharks, but it was more or less confirmed they were Raven Guard successors.
>>43549475
>implying omegron is real
>>43549990
>Is there a chapter that seems like the Night Lords?
Raven Guard
>>43549990
The only named Chapter as far as I can remember to really have a boner for terror tactics on the scale of the Night Lords is, as you mentioned, the Carcharadons.
That said, Loyalist Night Lords were confirmed in the FW books, so it's possible that survivors could have formed a Chapter in the aftermath.
>>43549475
Oh hey, fan fiction bullshit.
We know for a fact the "Primarch" of the Grey Knights is the Emperor himself moron.
>>43549556
Those daemons aren't gonna summon themselves anon.
And it probably involves some kind of psyker bullying or some shit.
>>43550102
>We know for a fact the "Primarch" of the Grey Knights is the Emperor himself moron
>>43550096
You mean these guys?
>>43550907
Considering how overwhelmingly likely it is that any NL loyalists would have to be Terrans, it's entirely possible they could be the Crimson Sons.
>>43549428
There is only the Legion. These guys are working towards THE PLAN
>>43550162
Remind me where it says in any GW material that the Grey Knights carry the geneseed of Omegon, and not the Emperor?
Oh?
You can't?
Looks like it's still shitty fanon then.
>>43551194
If you believe in the 'Emperor's Gene-Seed' theory you have no right to be calling anybody on shitty fanon. All gene-seed is simultaneously both the Emperor's and not the Emperor's. It is the Emperor's in that he made it. Its not the Emperor's because you have to be a Primarch to have gene-seed based on your genetic template.
That hypothesis has always been dumb as fuck.
i imagine using the emperor for the genetic template would result in more primarchs, so he wouldnt be suitable for your average super joe that the grey knights are.
>>43551445
It's from a reaching interpretation of a pretty vague and mystical sentence. It's a supposition based on a flimsy interpretation of a vaguely phrased sentence in an old piece of fluff.
So, you know, definitive canon.
>>43549556
I mean, Khornate "daemonology" basically just boils down to "Hey guys, build like.... a ditch or something so we can catch all this blood for a few moments."
>>43549556
Word Bearers.
>>43552325
So? >>43551954 sounds reasonable enough, but if it was using pyskers or any sort of magic, it'd be against Khorne.
>>43551194
The emperor doesn't have geneseed. It's literally the shittiest cover story for "we picked a bunch of traitor geneseed and hoped it wouldn't go too terribly bad" the inquisition has come up with.
>>43551194
How retarded are you?
>>43546337
>that fucking HHMMMMMMMMM will be stuck in my head for hours no.
>didn't even click the link, just had that horrible memory resurface
FFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKK
>>43552351
I still think people blow the "Khorne hates magic" thing way out of proportion.
I always got the impression that Khorne has psykers but they are more..... visceral with their "magic".
To use standard RPG parlance. Khorne's psykers are the buffers. Khorne is going to have his rituals and rites and he's going to have his warped gifts. Think less librarian and more chaplain.
>>43552599
So why his genetic clone sons do have?
>>43549105
So Ultramarines are basically getting keked by the Alpha Legion?
>>43555388
Alpha Legion think they can outsmart emperor's finest, too bad they don't know that there were never Alpharius and Omegon and they have Guilliman geneseed.
>>43545873
Does anyone know where I can find trays meant to move all your shit from one table to another?
I've searched all sorts of phrases, but I keep finding trays meant to move grouped squads across a table.
I've started playing more tournaments recently and breaking all my shit down is a pain in the ass and a real hassle for my opponent.
>>43549167
It's actually a red herring to trick alpha legion cells into rifling off all their hidden kill phrases in front of loyal troops.
Because fuck that obviously crowbar'd "we am alpharius" twist. I want it to blow up in their faces for once.
>>43551194
I wondered what the deal was with that ferryman.
>>43555376
Translating your awful attempt at communication as "So why do his genetically cloned sons have Gene Seed?"
Because they're not just clones, they were designed and built by the Emperor, including all the extra special Space Marine organs, the most important of which is the Progenoid Glands. Also known as the Gene Seed you uneducated philistine.
The Emperor is the physical manifestation of shit ton of psyker souls. He doesn't have neck-ovaries.
>>43555702
>they were designed and built by the Emperor, including all the extra special Space Marine organs, the most important of which is the Progenoid Glands
Geneseed was made of samples left from primarch creation, not by extracting it directly from primarch himself.
>Emperor is the physical manifestation of shit ton of psyker souls
And he was also called "New Man". Besides 5e-7e GK codex literally mentioned that they have Emperor's geneseed, all grey knight superpowers came from their direct bond with Emps.
And all space marines have his genes. Learn the lore faggot.
>>43555867
left of primarch creation*
>>43555867
they're Alpha legion you dork. Why else was the AL gene seed developed in secret and in isolation from the other legions?
>>43555902
Alpha Legion geneseed = sneaky beaky faggotry.
Emperor's = antichaos psyker superpower.
Got it?
>>43555315
It's stated very clearly - Khorne hates magic/pyskers.
>>43555966
he's cool with magic so long as it's just being used by magical artificers to make badass shit
>>43555925
Bullshit
>>43556027
Alpha legionnaires are generic csm with stealth and sabotage specialisation, they never had strong psyker powers and never fought with daemons.
https://youtu.be/OIUEVdF9gFM
Wasn't there that one CSM warband that is almost certainly descended from the Space Wolves? That's pretty fucking shady imo.
>>43556680
It's not really something to hmmm over. They more or less outright say it, even if in legends and rumors. They were also first sighted in the Fenrisian sector, and their symbol is a red wolf's head with a pointed tongue.
>>43556862
Yeah, and there was an entire heresy-era traitor grand company.
>>43546337
Thanks anon, i watched this movie as a kid and couldnt remember its name for the life of me
>>43556893
The one mentioned in here?
>>43555966
Khorne hates combat magic, because it's cheating. He's totally cool with magical engines, enchanted weapons and armour, and summoning more dudes to spill more blood.
>>43549499
>thinking that the alpha legion are all loyalists
>>43557392
>thinking that any member of the legion actually knows if they're loyal or heretics
>>43549105
The fuck are the Ultramarines doing battling on a Crone World?
>>43557516
They heard that there was an Avatar on the planet, and Papa Smurf couldn't contain his excitement.
>>43549105
>>43549167
>>43549195
>>43549156
>>43549105
>inb4 they are an AL sleeper cell
>>43549475
no source for that at all.
>>43550077
No, not at all.
>>43555500
LotR trays?
>>43555500
take a piece of sheet metal and put it in the bottom of a shallow cardboard box a couple inches deep. Glue a magnet into your models bases. They'll stick to the metal sheet in the box and you can carry everything in one go. Since they're magnetized, your squads won't get mixed up when it gets bumped around.
>>43555315
Rituals, daemon blades and daemon engines in the RPG, much less the wargame, aren't governed by psyker abilities.
>>43550096
>That said, Loyalist Night Lords were confirmed in the FW books
That's wrong. It was confirmed that the Carcharodons are Raven Guard successors. Which is a shame, the mystery was awesome.
>>43559885
>tfw you will never have a chapter that uses carefully measured amounts of fear to control a populace, but will treat them otherwise with nobility and restraint
>you will never have a chapter that will live up to the goodness that could have been Curze's legacy if not for his dual personality and visions
>>43560524
Make one faggot.
>>43557022
That's the one
