/tg/ makes a spacehulk

Ok here are the rules
>Only one post per Anon
>The post may contain a part of the hulk, e.g a big cargo hold, or a long dark corridor
>Posts can also add something to an exisiting room, but only once, examples are: the elevator shaft is flooded, the engine room is genestealer infested etc
>3 votes or more removes a post from the "cannon" stuff onboard/on the spacehulk

I think I'll start:
The spacehulk has a 10x10 room filled with metal crates

Have fun /tg/

>there is an large auditorium, modified to be a parade ground, with a commisar's voice on an endless loop through the speaker systems, as he orders a nonexistent guard regiment through their marching drills.
>>
>There is a large, sealed room filled wit Guardsmen corpses and a bunch of orks. Someone apparently closed all exits so that Work spores wouldn't float out, and they decided the Guardsmen inside weren't worth opening the door. They filled it with gas and it killed all inhabitants, but ork spores remained and managed to grow up. They are now a savage group of cannibals with one slowly eating the others and becoming a warboss-tier ork.

In the depths of the ship is a broom closet, the door was blocked by a giant piece of scrap. Inside is the curled up corpse of a guardsman. In his hands is clutched a small picture that probably cost him months of pay. On it is a small family, clearly standing on their farm. Probably an agri-world.
On the walls is scratched "Ill see them . . ." over and over again, hundreds of times. Likely with the mans bayonet.
The floor is littered with devoured ration packs, hundreds. This room probably stored a few boxes.
He could have been trapped here for months before dying, wanting nothing more than to see his family again.

>The Barnacles feed by swiping the air with whispy filaments that are only strong enough to take in dust from the air.

At the edge of the hulk is a pristine and active military tug, clamped firmly to the surface of the hulk and straining to boost it towards an unknown destination. No life signs are detected within.

The tug, while in near-perfect working order and appearing fresh from the assembly line, is listed as being built more than 3,000 years previous. The craft's sole irregularity is that its cognator banks were apparently never installed. Despite this, the tug will attempt to adjust it's thrust should the hulk's orientation change.

The grandiose, mostly intact hangar bays of an otherwise unrecognizably warped and disfigured vessel can be found if one traverses deep into the twisting corridors.

Entire fighters squadrons are lined up, prepared for a launch that never came. The launch bay doors seem to have been opened, tools, fuel tanks and ammo racks lie around untouched. No corpses can be found, neither any signs of struggle.

There is, however, a large, rotting mass of unknown material that clogs up all launch bays.

A portion of the hulk consists of hundreds of thousands of 140'x50' cylinders patched and welded together seemingly at random. Closer inspection reveals that the cylinders were originally microhabitats, each one containing living space, hydroponics, fuel cells, a solar array, and thrusters, all sufficient to keep a human being alive unsupported for several years.

Pods throughout the structure have been cannibalized and their parts consolidated. In one, cooking and refrigeration units from a dozen pods have been jury-rigged into a professional kitchen, while others nearby house seats and tables. Others have been made into bunkhouses, workshops, schools, and farms.

The pods along the outside edge of the construction are all oriented with their cockpits facing outward. In each, the controls have been stripped out and replaced with a floormat, a legless chair, and a small bowl. In each chair is an upright skeleton, facing the viewport.

>Sometimes, it's in parallel. Stay too long, you might find you haven't been there long enough, and some of you has been there entirely too long. One of you might have even never been born yet.

>And sometimes, stranger things than that.

>Thousands of Tzeentchian Daemons infest the room, yet they take no notice of any intruders.

>They are enraptured. Perhaps they think they're communing with their master. Perhaps they're talking to themselves. Perhaps both.

>It is easy to bind them.

>They won't even notice they're gone.

>Swords swifter than time itself. Bullets leave chambers before you even knew you needed to fire them. Shields spring to life moments before the fatal blow.

>Careful, though.

There is a hallway leading towards the captain's chambers. Its walls are covered in a variety of paintings, all of which seem to be tipped a few degrees clockwise. Scouts reported feeling as though they were walking up an incline while traversing its length.

>This section appears to have once been a merchant ship of some indeterminable make. Displays of lavish wealth (gold molding, crystal chandeliers, bronze statues, oil paintings, fur rugs, expansive tapestries, etc) abound, though statues and painting seem to show up more often towards the center of (what remains of) the ship. As the explorers wander the halls, something seems off. Out of the corner of the eye the eyes of figures on paintings seem to move. Tapestries seem to waver and transform into other scenes, but when carefully inspected they appear normal. When walking back to down certain corridors, statues have changed ever so slightly. A finger or an elbow moved, head tilted slightly, toes splayed, and so on. As the explorers get closer to the center, an oddly upbeat song seems to come from the walls, getting stronger as they get closer to the center. To make matters even more confusing, each explorer hears a different song, each song striking a chord in the heart of it's listener. When the explorers finally reach the center of the ship, they find a lavishly appointed room with a skeleton sitting behind a desk. It is dressed in expensive clothes. On the desk is a picture of two children and a woman, all dressed in similarly expensive looking clothes. The skeleton is clutching a small grey box from which the haunting melodies seem to emanate.

The box has no blemishes, holes, speakers, visible power source, or any other feature which would give it any right to be emanating such joyous music. If removed from the hands of the skeleton, the box abruptly changes from bright happy songs to soulful haunting melodies. The skeleton seems almost reluctant to see it go and slumps over in its chair. The children and woman in the picture change to skeletons. Even if placed back into the skeleton's posession, the spell of happiness seems to be broken.
>>
>>43505364
Sorry, it got too long and I had to finish it

> All along the way back out of the ship, the explorers notice that everything had changed for the worse. The ship seems to have fallen into a sad state. The molding and tapestries show signs of age and wear. The statues all change stance to dejected states and the eyes are filled with sorrow. The paintings all seem to be crying.

If the explorers take the box with them, it continues to play haunting melodies, a different one heard by everyone who listens to it. The mechanicus is quite interested in the box if they get it off the space hulk, though the explorers find themselves reluctant to part with it.

This room has 9 complete human skeletons leaning against the walls. The only damage you can discern is that their skulls appear to have been shattered from the inside.

On the outskirts of the hulk rests a ship that seems to be ouf newer origin. Someone with the knowledge of such things would identify it as most likely built in m39.
Yet on the inside it seems old. Very old. Everything is broken down and rusted and large parts of the ship seem to have seen heavy fighting.
On the bridge there's one comm terminal still intact, though most of the data has been lost due to age and neglect. A single transcript, albeit heavily damaged can still be opened.
It's a warning. The forces of the dark gods have finally breached the gate of Cadia and are marching on Terra.

A massive room made for testing the logic of the machine spirits for new combat servitors. They analyze combat as it happens and what is the best way to fight in any given situation.

Their experimental machine spirits are connected to a larger network so that they all learn from each other's mistakes, meaning that a second wave won't get slaughtered the same way as the first.

The overseers left--or died--long ago, and these servitors have been facing each other over and over and over again in team-deathmatch-style trials.

When it is over new servitors will be built by a massive automated machine and placed in the testing grounds to do it all over again.

After thousands of years, the servitors just stand there.

They have figured out everything to do in the testing arena, and every single move made by any of them has a counter move. The best move is to not move at all.

Anyone new entering the testing grounds who--in any way--changes the presence of the battlefield effectively adds in new potentials for the machine spirits, and the deathmatch begins anew.

Any character that tries to disturb the peace by killing a servitor is immediately turned on by all of them. Then the endless war begins again.
