What are the worst painted models you have/have seen?
I asked my friend some painting tips and he told me thinning wasn't necessary, and then promptly insulted my paint jobs when I told him to thin paints....here's one of his master works.

I use Army Painter Uniform Grey as my primer and army's main color. It's almost identical to GW plastic grey and makes it hard to see if I primed properly or not.

Normally I'd recommend primer, but if you want to strip them easily, spray paint will work.

thin your paints, don't thin your paints, Ultimately how you paint your models doesn't matter as long as at the end the model actually looks good. this requires picking a style you are comfortable with and practicing, as well as picking up tricks from other painters and incorporating it into your own.

Oh fuck, I've been to that store. I don't really go anymore because the Denton GW is slightly closerand Age of Sigmar has pretty well killed any enthusiasm I have for this hobby, but I always thought that the Preston manager was alright. Guess not.
