Letting Third Impact and GNR happen.

Just so you can waifu Lilith as GNR
>>
>>44161110
I do jump settings I don't know, and have put FR fairly far back in my chain due to drawbacks and the times thread has mentioned FR has a god (or divine group) that stop tech from advancing, and since I have and consistently use extremely advanced tech, and have a habit of uplifting people, I wanted to leave it till I could try to deal with it.

Essentially I'm after either an alternate 'build your own angels' perk to the Bayonetta one, or failing that being able to summon holy/divine humanoids with wings and maybe halos and have them stick around for a while. Doesn't have to be too long, but I'd rather they not be the sort of summons that pop up in one attack and disappear once that attack's over.
>>
How do you enter a world jumpers? Is it a mystic portal? Is there a jumpchain that whisks you there? Do you just get REALLY lost? Or maybe you wake up?

I prefer the falling-from-the-sky approach really. Drop-in is litteral right?
>>
>>44161353
Depends.
If I have an Origin, I wake up in bed or whatever.

If I'm a drop-in? I just show up in some random alleyway
>>
>>44161353
>Or maybe you wake up?
This for all origins, unless the fluff specifically mentions something else.
>>
>>44161353
I take it as I wake up in an alley or other semi-secluded public area unless the Jump says otherwise.

On an unrelated note. Has there been a consensus as far as a height for the Warehouse? does it have a set ceiling or does it just go up forever?
>>
>>44161353
If I go drop-in I tend to go with a literal drop. If I have an Origin I'm usually waking up and have a little bit of time to get a grip on my new memories before anyone else shows up. Some lee-way to make sure jumps don't always start with the same 'Aaah I don't know who I am and have to pretend to be someone I sort of was just moments ago' routine. Some origins don't give me that luxury, but unless otherwise specified that's what I go with.

So I'm in the future and I'm already disappointed. Seriously, I was hoping for some really hoping everything would be different but hardly anything's changed since I left. Oh well, at least I can talk again. If I remember correctly there are some extremely powerful nanites available here, so I suppose I'll try to grab some while I'm here.

>>
>>44161402
The general idea is 'big enough', but with the idea that you shouldn't try to abuse it. There's technically no limit, in the sense that you could fit some damn tall things in there, but... well, Someone who I won't name tries to use the no set height thing to get more space, so take that as you will.
>>
>>44161353
Usually my pre-jump self getting hit with something. Getting my bell rung for some reason is essential to my ability to jump in. The worst was Infamous where I had just been hit by a car and had to stumble to a friends house with a broken leg so I had somewhere safe to get to my warehouse to use my medical bay. For drop in It would be a small fall in a relatively deserted area.
>>
>>44161353
Well my wank for how i move between jumps is pretty much i chill in a room with a couple beanbag chairs for a couple hours, followed by blacking out and waking up wherever the jump says i do. Drop in is usually a bit of a pain, because i'm woken up by slamming against the ground. Origins have me poof into whatever poor sod that has always been me.
>>
>>44161458
>>44161402

Thought behind this was tiered/stacked shelving, with four or five stories of shelves taking up one half of my Warehouse.

Soooo many books and DVD's. Also droid parts.
>>
Have you ever thought that maybe this is a jumpers SOL jump, and they are being dicks and not using Princess Bride's adaptionator to give us good Star Wars prequels?
>>
Nah, that's just O being a cruel cruel bastard
>>
>>44161402
I just go with the Warehouse pictured in the PDF, and double the height for buying Loft. YMMV.
>>
Are there any perks that let you permanently give others copies of your powers besides the ones from Imaginary Friend?
>>
A question on Fall from Heaven: Can the godbreaker engine literally kill gods, or are the machine spirits being a little overoptimistic?
>>
>>44161496
>Getting my bell rung for some reason is essential to my ability to jump in

I want to imagine that there was a particularly nimble version of you, perhaps from a jump with an emphasis on kung-fu, who managed to avoid getting hit for such a long time that Jumpchan got frustrated and just slugged the poor sod.
>>
>>44161402
I've fanwanked it as being just tall enough to fit the tallest singular piece of equipment I own within reason. So the practical height is roughly 25 meters.
>>
So in your fate\ jump were you a servant or a master I'm trying to decide which is better
>>
>>44161328
Well, jumps with summoning pretty much include all of the final fantasy series, most MMOs, plenty of RPG games actually. Those with angels in them are a bit more limited, but if you can bear with the length of the jump, FF9 might have a perk that works. Dissidia has a "build order" specifically for minions, but not in the numbers that you're looking for if you're looking for hundreds. Some of the digital settings might work as well, maybe TOME? Ragnarok Online is probably the last place I'd "recommend" since its sheer length deters most people, but the minion perk in there is a bit..."particular", angels are in the game.

The Elder Scrolls doesn't have the aesthetic, but it has spellmaker and conjuration magic, which can serve as a good base for summoning if you think Final Fantasy/JRPGs doesn't have "valid summoning" to it or you'd prefer not to have to deal with those jumps.
>>
This sounds really cool, but am I missing something? It seems like its just a connected set of CYOAs, but everyone talks like there's something to do after the chargen bit. Care to enlighten me?
>>
>>44161833
Do you want a waifu/husbando? Go master. If you want straight up power, go servant.
>>
>>44161555
Well, unless you're using one of the relevant supplements, it has to be big enough to fit everything you get from random mecha jumps. Or you're fucked for trying to buy them.

Simply having enough GuAIZ for an army of waddle dees take up plenty of space.
>>
>>44161849
How close can you get to KingProtea with a regular servant or whatever you can do with perks from other jumps on a servant or something. A Noble Phantasm being their body? Or stuff
>>
>>44161833
Regular fate I imported Hooligan Tuesday from light of terra as my servant. Then in fate extra Tuesday was my master and I went servant.
>>
>>44161871
Very likely nowhere close at all. KingProtea is a completely different class of spirits called High Servants. The power difference between the two tiers is nasu levels of ambiguous. You have High Servants that are hybrid Divine Spirits, with no real "gauge" in power besides whatever the plot demands. They're all intended to just be walking plot devices that have "as much/as little" power as needed.
>>
>>44161781
Given that it's claws can shred dragons, beasts so powerful there's a specific perk to give you those precious extra seconds of combat needed to beat them, I'd go out on a limb and say that it's not too lofty an ambition. You probably just have to upgrade it with some extradimensional tech and then go toe-to-toe with your chosen deity.
>>
>>44161847
Tell stories, mostly.

Given the plethora of Namefags and Avatarfags running about, some of those stories are rather nice.
>>
>>44161842
Thanks for the ideas. I'll have a look.
>>
>>44161847
Step two is "what do you do with these powers" much like with most CYOAs, except there's an simple route to continue gaining more powers in more places.

And they're built for working together, unlike some other CYOAs with "+1 CYOA" as an option somewhere. As such people are somewhat less likely to call you a cheater when you tell us what "you" did.
>>
>>44161945
Fuckin,

>>
>>44161849
So servant seems the best one I'm eyeballin those gates of babalyon and data EX item creation how big of a stroke do you think a mage would have if it's servant had a giant Laser cannon as a np
>>
In the Rwby jump is there any way to get past that one semblance restriction ?
>>
>>44162219
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaJqEVBOtuk

These lasers are an A rank skill, if that works
>>
>>44162315
Nope. Not even with something that grants you extra bodies. Semblances are representations of the soul. Like stands.
>>
>>44162315
Having two whole souls.
Good luck with that.
>>
>>44162315
You could take Represent.

Wonder if I need to update it for Season 3.
>>
>>44162356
What about the soul eater perk that grants 9 separate souls that are still yours ?
>>
>>44162315
You could try using Represent, that Semblance is literally the ability to use a bunch of different Semblances. Try unlocking Auras and training people in other jumps to help you gather more.

Other than that, you might be able to get around the restriction by messing around with souls. I can't recall a canon example of this, but it might work if you use stuff from other jumps. This could lead you to the power you seek, but it could also be a BAD IDEA in all caps.

They did drop a lot of plot shit recently, but I'd hold off until we know exactly what the fuck they're talking about.

If you do however, will there be an option to be a robot like Penny? I realize there's plenty of other jumps for that but if you wanted to round off the racial options, there it is.
>>
Guys.

Does Giant Naked Rei from EoE count as one entity?

Because if so... Time to use that one perk that let's me grant full power of one of my perks to a person, make it be the gunnerigs court shapeshifting or something to make it possible for GNR to get up to 10 times bigger.

Then use Make My Monster Grow.

I think that's like... I think 20 000 kilometers?
>>

Sadly I made a lot of bad ideas the train never ends some of my best hits include using the power of dominace against Dracula dipping a pokemon in the F.E.V though that one was a kind of accident

That's...

I want to say no. I wouldn't think that's possible, but I can't with 100% certainty say so.

So maybe? Fanwank away you crazy bastard.
>>
>>44162429
Giant Naked Rei starts off as one entity, but rapidly absorbs the rest. Arguably, it doesn't matter, though. It only counts for podding or companions if it has self-awareness and identity. Instrumentality is defined by the erasure of those traits. You could take the entirety of humanity once the Giant Naked Rei absorbed them. Same principle as fusing a bunch of souls into a Philosopher's Stone and bringing that with you. They're objects by that point, not people.
>>
>>44162469
I'm gonna check with my magic 8 ball hold on
>>
>>44162460
That's one thing you can do.

Another is a living planet buster who can crush planets in her hands.

Another is just... You know, seeing how far you can take it.

Then you must find a way to shrink her to your size if not a bit bigger.

Best waifus are those who can crush planets during the day but will still cuddle you at night
>>
>>44162469
>>44162526
It uh it said maybe
>>
>>44162521
Nonono.

GNR is not the combined souls of humanity. She gathers them up but she exists before that. That's Lilith as a hybrid essentially. Lilith primarly in control.

Just do Third Impact on another planet
>>
>>44162544
Well that's a sign. I'm not sure what it's trying to tell us, but that's totally a sign.
>>
>>44162579
I doubt it's Lilith in control so to speak since Shinji was given the choice as to whether Instrumentality happened. I don't see why Lilith would care how Shinji felt, while Rei would.
>>
>>44162579
Yes, like I said. Starts as one entity then absorbs the rest. I'm just pointing out that even if it does absorb humanity it wouldn't keep you from podding it.
>>
>>44162544
>>44162584
Wait hold on, I had a thought. Dio had multiple stands didn't he? I might be misremembering this.

Regardless of whether or not I made this up, he could only ever use one stand at a time. And since stands and semblances both come from souls...You see where I'm going with this right?
>>
>>44162369
Honestly? I don't think enough has been added so far to necessitate an update. The only things that immediately come to mind is some flavor text for Remanent Arcana or the Grimoire that mentions magic is rare and special, and possibly a very expensive Season Maiden option, though I also think we don't know nearly enough about that spoiler to justify it being included in the jump.

I wouldn't object if you decided to add more stuff to the jump just for the hell of it, but I don't think season 3 has changed things enough by itself to warrant an update.

2 quick errata questions about the jump though: the jump makes no mention of location having a bearing on which combat school you're accepted into, is it okay to just pick one we want and say we're studying abroad if it disagrees with our location roll? Also, is it okay to just spend a year farting around and say we're going next year if we decide we want to be in the same year as the main characters?
>>
>>44162584
Would all nine souls just together? would I need to get another person to unlock those extra 8? Would it let me make taste the rainbow jokes if thier all different colors so many questions
>>
I work with something between Quantum Leap and Transition. There's a blinding flash, a disorienting feeling of falling, and suddenly I'm in a completely different time, place, and body. When The Lady is feeling nice, she gives me a couple minutes warning ahead of time.

I usually wake up in bed, but sometimes I'm in medias res- such as in the middle of a conversation, chase, or fight. Once, memorably, I appeared in the middle of an orgy. And then there's LoT...

If I'm not in IMMEDIATE danger, the first few microseconds are spent acclimatizing myself to my new host, getting a brief overview of them memories and personality, and a preliminary impression as to exactly how their psyche is going to be affected by their sudden possession by (what is probably by their standards) a terrifying extradimensional superintelligence.
>>
>>44162645
Dio had two stands because Jonathon had one and Dio had one. Since he had Jonathon's body, he got to keep Hermit Purple.
>>
>>44162645
I think his ability was having his descendents powers or he had pucci get him a stand disk

>>44162395
Aren't all 9 of your souls the same? Wouldn't that just get you the same semblance 9 times?

I could see it giving you a shit-ton of aura though.

I think Servants have more power, but Masters get a powerful companion and have more freedom during the jump.

How survivable is the jump as a Servant? Which war is the least dangerous? Are there any easy-mode, meta-knowledge ways to win as a Servant?
>>
>>44162731
I'm thinking about being an archer that shoots entire motorcycles out of my Gates of babalyon conceptual motor cycles of course

Question:

I don't know if it's been talked about recently, but is there still that 'can only take towards the end of your jump' thing regarding Index and Railgun?

Hmm. A bit disappointing to here about the plot.

1 Sure, just be aware that international travel usually demands an armed escort big enough to clog the skies.

2 That kinda was the intent. A year to familiarize yourself, or a year to be a sempai.

I've been negligent, Mea Culpa. Redwall was pretty much finished a month ago, I just haven't been of /tg/ long enough to actually release it. Expect some spit polish updates later (eg: if anyone points out typos or things that need clarification), but the attached document is fit to be put in the "Complete But Need Image Work" folder.

Real life is still kicking my ass on multiple levels, but I've got preliminary sketches of an Arabian Nights Jump and an American Revolution Jump sitting on my hard drive, plus my earlier attempt at a Cold War/DEFCON/Dr. Strangelove Jump. If I've got time, I might post a draft of one of those later this week.

FYI, pic used in Cosmic Warehouse PDF is interior of a CFS (Container Freight Station) warehouse in Ningbo Homeny Container Yard. Interior floor space is about 4000m^2, just little over 40k sq ft of Quicksilver's Cosmic Warehouse. Height of warehouse is 6m at walls (maybe max 7.5m at centre), but keep in mind ceiling girders use bit of that.

What's the name of that perk? I'm having trouble finding it
>>
>>44163164
Yeah, past a certain point I don't persue options that increase the breadth of my powers that much. 'A tool for every job' is fine, but much more personally interesting to me is 'The tool for every job.'

Maybe that's a poor way to put it- I'm interesting in consolidating the powers I do have so they cover gaps and complement each other. While I don't have perk synergy projects like Red's garden or ASA's... being-ness- partly a result of being a fairly dedicated vanity and harem jumper- I still find that developing along certain thematic lines to be satisfying and rewarding.

Certain options are too interesting to pass up- expressions of the soul or spirit are fascinating. Stand, Reality Marble, Semblance, Fullbring- when you choose these powers you're making deliberate statements about the Jumper and perhaps yourself.

In XCOM do you need to buy the 700CP item to be able to use Gene Mods? I'd think that the science perks would let you learn to use Meld, or you could just volunteer for them in jump, but then you can pay 700CP to... volunteer for them? It also doesn't say what happens with conflicting mods. Does the item make it so you can get all of the gene mods, or do you have to pick?

The MEC body for 600CP at least gives you the body as a robot you can control post jump.

I usually just assume it's about twice as tall as it is wide, because that seems pretty generous enough without being completely stupid.

Other people are free to assume it's whatever height they want. Doesn't really matter.

>>44161353
If I have a background, I generally just "wake up" in the middle of the day, generally during a very quiet moment. Sometimes it very quickly becomes not-quiet, but the thought is there.
Drop Ins drop in from a height of about three feet. It's just enough to make me fall flat on my face without giving me time to react. Never gets old to Jumpchan. Bitch.

What's more interesting is how I leave, which usually entails disintegrating into light. After Gurren it started coming with spiffy spiral energy effects.
>>

Well... yes, actually. It is a good place to start.

Between jumps I meet jumpchan at any table and I tend to arrive at a similar table. I usually leave at dinner time and arrive at breakfast, barring the origin having a specific entrance to the world. My companions usually join us.

As far as I can tell, you can get BodyMod at any point after your first jump. Does the same apply to the Warehouse?
>>
>>44165394
Yes
>>
>>44161353
Entering a world usually depends on my background and whatever flavor text the jump creator has added. If I pick Drop-In I either arrive through a portal in some inconspicuous location or find myself falling out of the sky and landing face first on the ground.

If I pick a history however I'll wake up either in bad, on my desk, in the middle of nowhere, etc. Basically I just suddenly come-to with a whole new set of memories.

As for when it's time to leave, I always depart though a bright swirling portal for maximum dramatic effect. It almost always appears in the middle of the night so I can leave without having to say goodbye, but sometimes J.C picks me up in front of my most trusted allies from that jump so they can see me off to the next world.

Dark Binding from Hellsing

Just awaken the Auras of your preferred victims before you murder them and steal their soul.

For a less murdery solution, take Represent and bunch of perks that boost 'soul power' or whatever.
Maybe with enough power you'd be able to match the Semblance-user you're mimicking?
>>
Do wut people keep assuming Dark Binding involves a lot of pain?

>>44166599
You kill people to activate it and if I remember right, it's stated in Hellsing itself that the souls suffer in their confinement.

>>44166374
Supreme Commander gives a warehouse for your ACU. With the Import options, that could mean the Light of Terra.
Meaning that one could have a Hangar attached to the warehouse that is not only large enough to hold a 32km long ship (200 if you took all the proper size increases), but the hangar will replace the the ACU if it is destroyed.

One could use this to develop the tactic of literally throwing the ship at a planet as a weapon and not give a crap.
>>
>>44166604
Pip didn't suffer when Seras used Dark binding on him. I think they imply souls suffer in Alucard since he wants it or maybe dunno. The perk doesn't state it though
>>
>>44166599
You literally have to eat people in order to steal their soul and the souls are stuck in a conglomerated mass.

>>

>>
>>44166374
Remembered that Zerg and Metal Gear (one of them) also have add ons, and the Terran jump adds an ammo machine to your warehouse. Borderlands adds an ammo vending machine too. Teen Titans adds a Library, and I think there's another jump with a library as well, though that (or the Teen Titans one) may follow you in jump.

I think the Steven Universe crystal gem room attaches to the warehouse post jump too.

To keep them with you when your jump ends so you can take their souls out of you and put them into a new body.

I want it to be THEM, not copy or clone, and since I roll for jumps, I am looking for various ways to do it depending on in what order my jumps take me.

So I am waiting till I get that ship or other methods of soul containment.

The issue is that I won't be able to import these smuggled people with an origin, neither will they re spawn if they are dead, as in, I didn't get their soul. This would set up a tragedy if one such person goes into battle to save my ass or something.

And hell, I need time before jump ends to absorb them and when I await jump end, if someone kills me, one of the souls in me dies. If it is at random then having more souls doesn't straight up STOP them from being chosen, and the bigger buffer I want to lower the chance, the more are my people in agony

>I want it to be THEM, not copy or clone, and since I roll for jumps, I am looking for various ways to do it depending on in what order my jumps take me.

If you want access to people you met before I can think of a safer combo.

Step 1. Get Summoning Magic from No Game No Life. This lets you summon someone from a previous jump for up to five minutes.
Step 2. Get Crimson Saint from hero and demon king. This lets you convert spells to tech and tech to spells.
Step 3. get enough resources.
Step 4. Make a device that auto-casts the NGNL summoning magic/spell and that recasts it every five minutes.

This should let you well not exactly keep people with you, but something close enough. And since time is frozen for them normally they won't experience having to wait if something happens to the device.

For the longest time, Drop-In was literal for us too! Although it was more our puny limited mind being unable to comprehend the bullshit involved in being quantum dunked into a retroactive history.

Nowadays, given that the vast majority of our very being would squash reality if that happened and that due to its nature kind of...exists out of synch from the universe because of how Reality Marbles and demiplanes work, what usually happens is we have one avatar (think Zion's golden man body) that comes equipped with all the racial traits, backgrounds and so on that sort of blips into existence in the starting location, while the rest of us just sort of slips into existence from the void between worlds.

Oddly enough, we've always liked having Jam as our sole semblance. Just...seems very representative of who and what we are, y'know? Instead of trying to branch out, what we did in the past was focus on buffing and buffing Jam; we did take all the soul-related perks in Soul Eater, amongst other things. And took Anathema, A Ragged Wound, Cross to Bear and Exploitation Now! to make it hit even harder. And took Soulfire, Angel Slayer, Thaumaturgical Focus: Boundary Fields and Cursed Land to /really/ ruin the day of anyone who steps too close.

Perhaps you could give it some extra fluff that emphasizes how your summons stick around, which we haven't seen Schnee summons do, claim that your summons are stronger somehow, make rapid-fire summoning a thing, or imply that "fixing their anger issues" is going to lead to something really crazy?

Alternatively, put more emphasis on the whole "taming" aspect. It'd probably be a really big deal if there's a passive "don't attack me" level of taming you can reach before you're more actively giving orders.

Use some calm spells from TES first and you should be able to hopefully convince it before they wear off. If you can become its friend/ally while it is under the effects of the calm spell it will remain so but only if it has sentience. If it isn't when the spell ends, it will kill you with a sad look on its face (which is hard to discern unless you've extensively studied xenomorphs)
>>
>>44168517
Luckily the sentience granting spell is instantaneous so it's effects are permament and can't be dispelled
>>
>>44168531
Ah, then a combo of that, high charisma, TES calm spells and time are all you need to make friends with anything.

Congratulation, you are now Kamen Jumper Fourze. Use your powers for good.

Maybe (if you mean the 3.5th edition version) it depends on if a xenomorph counts as an animal or not. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but in D&D the animal type doesn't cover everything considered an animal in real life.

For example bugs and other similar stuff have their own separate creature type.

There's also a creature type for weird alien stuff that's also separate from the animal type.

However if it does work(and your not using a different edition than I'm assuming) this post is partially wrong >>44168472 since the Awaken spell says the awakened animal or tree is friendly towards you.

So if it worked the awakened xenomorph would be your friend, but nothing says the spell changes how it prefers to behave.
>>
>>44168458
Awaken only works on Animals, and I'm pretty sure Xenomorphs don't meet the specifics of the D&D Animal Type. The closest equivalent I can think of in D&D are Kythons, which are Aberrations. You might be able to research an equivalent spell based around Aberrations (or just Xenomorphs, given just how widely Aberrations vary), but given it's a 5th level spell there are probably easier ways to make them intelligent.

>>44168472
Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure the exact opposite is true; that is, that Xenomorphs don't meet the target criteria for the spell, and that if they did the spell would prevent it from trying to kill you.
"The awakened animal or tree is friendly toward you. You have no special empathy or connection with a creature you awaken, although it serves you in specific tasks or endeavors if you communicate your desires to it."
>>
>>44168656
>>44168657
Well that's good news for anon then.

Also, xenomorphs are hard to classify. Considering that the embryo SOMEHOW absorbs DNA from the host and becomes a hybrid, they're much closer to humans than you may think. Seriously, look up what a xenomorph's bone structure is like, it's basically just a stretched human skeleton covered up with some extra bits like the tail and phallic head.
>>
>>44168458
If I were your DM, I'd rule no, but I'll doubtless be shouted down.

The spell specifies that it only works on monsters with the "Animal" type, and I don't think xenomorphs could reasonably be classed as "Animals".
Xenomorphs are too smart to have only 1 or 2 INT, and nearly every fan-made stat block for xenomorphs I've seen put them in the "Aberration" or "Outsider" type - for reasons including Xenomorphs can survive in space, so they don't need to breathe, they have acid blood, have some hivemind shit going on, etc. etc.
So, you cast the spell flawlessly, but it doesn't work because you have an invalid target.

But people will undoubtedly say "It works anyway!" in defiance of all reasonable interpretation.
>>
>>44168711
Outsider is not a fitting type. People think 'outsider' when they think aliens of most sorts, but Outsiders in DnD are off in that their soul/being is part of the realm around them. They're basically elementals after a fashion, not simply beings from another realm/planet.

Also cut out that salt intake. Being needlessly hostile to people will cause them to be hostile to you. It's a bit of a circle and after a certain point you need to decide to be the nice one.
>>
>>44168704
That makes them even less likely to count as Animals for D&D purposes.

>>44168711
>But people will undoubtedly say "It works anyway!" in defiance of all reasonable interpretation.
I don't think most people would, no.
>>
>>44168747
That wasn't meant to be a suggestion that they are in fact Animals, rather, that deciding what their type IS exactly will be hard.
>>
>>44168711
There are equivalents of the spell for vermin or other types, wouldn't be too hard to find or make one for aberrations
>>
>>44168780
How easy would it be to do research or create a new spell while being chased by a Xenomorph, though?
>>
>>44168755
Not really, they fit into Aberration, maaaybe Monstrous Humanoid or Magical Beast, pretty neatly. They're certainly not Animals, Constructs, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, Giants, Oozes, Plants, Undead or Vermin. Humanoid is not technically impossible, but they don't meet a lot of the common features and there are much better matches.
>>
>>44168796
I think deciding between three types is hard, since that means it's not clear cut. But whatever anon.
>>
>>44168796
Plus, as mentioned, Kythons are an existing species of Aberrations that are basically "Xenomorphs: The D&D Version."
>>
>>44168827
Are kythons a parasitic human hybrid?
>>
>>44168815
No, it's pretty clear that Aberration is the best fit for them, Magical Beast or Monstrous Humanoid are just the only other two types that it wouldn't be a massive stretch to put them in if you had some specific reason to not want them to be an Aberration for your game (say, because you're a cruel DM and you'd noticed that Magical Beast HD are rather beefier than Aberration hit dice, or because you were a nice DM and wanted to make them a type that the Ranger player had Favoured Enemy against, or because you were a DM with a story to tell and wanted them to have a specific associated Knowledge skill).
>>
>>44168794
Just make the awaken spell for magical animals and one for aberrations while you are in d&d jump, then use it in Alien jump.

If you want a neggro-alien, also get predator DNA.
Get it? Negro?

Cuz Predalien is stronger.

And has dreads.

I will excuse myself.

Percy Jackson can get you a decent chunk of Valhalla.
>>
>>44168835
No, that would be the Illithid, which are also Aberrations.
>>
>>44169020
Ilithids are human hybrids?
>>
>>44168889
>Just make the awaken spell for magical animals and one for aberrations while you are in d&d jump, then use it in Alien jump.
That's kinda meta, anon. Make a spell during a jump for another jump that you haven't taken yet? Your game, your call, but unless I had a reason to research a spell like that during my D&D jump I couldn't run with that.
>>
>>44168835
If I remember correctly, they can be. Pretty sure they are descended from a group of prime bound demons and humans(oberyths though, not the more common and more recent rulers of the abyss)
>>
>>44169037
People have different approaches to how jumping works. In some people's interpretation, they could know that they'll one day end up in Alien, and thus make plans for dealing with it.
>>
>>44169031
they are little slugs that eat the brains of humans and then convert the body into their new illithid body.
>>
>>44169063
>People have different approaches to how jumping works.
I both get and support that.

>In some people's interpretation, they could know that they'll one day end up in Alien, and thus make plans for dealing with it.
I generally schedule my jumps in blocks, so I get that too. Like said, though, the idea mentioned here >>44168889 is too meta for my tastes. It feels like cheating.
