Infinity is a 28mm scale skirmish game by Corvus Belli where if you're not link spamming, you're not trying. Also, your ugly cheerleaders never will get resculpts.

Wow... Throwing 40 dice sounds boring. You're never going to get a lone line infantry taking out a tag(I think they're called dreadnaughts) when it's ballanced around that many dice. I don't like burst 5 weapons, they're too reliable for this reason, 5% chance to crit on each too, but I guess I also hate the idea of dividing through firing lines.

"My dudes are literally a millimeter behind one another, don't peek out your base a millimeter to only face one...". Anyone else get frustrated by this, it's like you can only get to ARO with two models if one is in hidden deployment.

Shikami when?
>>
>>47644053
Konstantinos. Just don't. He's strictly worse when not infiltrating.
>>
>>47652872
Guardsmen are not there to kill dreadnoughts with lasguns though, they are there to survive until last turn or mop up what hasn't been pounded by artillery, tanks or mortars.
Imperial Guard can do many things, but subtely is not one of them.
>>
>>47652872
When you actually properly draw line of fire, doing what you describe is incredibly difficult. This is where move as intended becomes a big cause for arguments
>>
>>47652872
It does feel kind of game-y, but I've gotten over it. Even if your opponent is going to slice the pie and murder those two cheerleaders in his turn, he's still basically wasting some of that movement in his orders to move 'just in the right spot where I can see 1 but not 2', and then moving a millimeter over during the next order to 'see 2 while still having cover'. Sure those two guys are probably dead, but you're still doing tangible damage to your enemy's active turn.
>>
>>47652872
>My dudes are literally a millimeter behind one another, don't peek out your base a millimeter to only face one...

As long as people aren't pre-measuring while doing this, I don't have a problem with it. It's a skill picked up by experienced players, and very effective when you get consistant with using it.
>>
>>47652696
They might get resculpts
>>
>>47652872
I used to, but now I just see it as making him spend multiple orders...and make sure when I ARO I have good range/camo/supressive/TR fire so I have a good chance on winning/making him spend multiple orders.
>>
>>47653360
I prefer all my troops to be able to step up and take an active role if necessary. Having a lone Moderator put the last wound on an avatar was an amazing moment.

Guardsman #237 surviving till turn 6...not so much.

Part of the reason I sold my 40k guard lol.

Thorakites get Feuerbachs and HMGs now
>>
Quick question:

I was looking at the Bashi Bazouks, and I was wondering how Holo L2 works with Parachutist? Do they walk on with 2 holoechoes, or do they have to spend an order to generate them after they walk on?
>>

They'll walk on with 2 holoechoes I believe, same as the initial deployment for any other H2 trooper. Haqq has soooo many holo echoes now eesh.

Speaking of which, I'm set on trying a 3 link list similar to this, anyone got any suggestions for it?

I'm wondering if Drakios makes sense with Ajax anchoring the Myrmidons, I originally had Eudoros there so I wanted to clear out MSV for him to be scarier, but now I'm not so sure.

I'm also wondering if it makes sense to have the HMG in Thrasymedes' link which is meant to push up the board while Alke's stays back, but then I also question the value of the HMG when I'm already paying 1.5 SWC for Alke's Spitfire, maybe I just drop the HMG altogether and use the SWC elsewhere or I make it a second Feuerbach so I've got 2 to use as ARO pieces.
>>
>>47654419

They walk on with 2 holoechoes, there actually used to be a FAQ specifically saying this (it's still on the holoprojector wiki page), and nothing has changed it the rule that would indicate otherwise.
>>
>>47654567
thanks for the info.
>>
>>47654625
One problem with the new Thorakitai weapons is that there's no long ranged character to lead them. You can take as many HMGs, feuerbachs and marksman rifles as you like, but you still have to saddle them with a spitfire or LRL.
>>
>>47655048
>you still have to saddle them with a spitfire or LRL

>implying thats a bad thing in a link. both those weapons cover range bands hmg, feuerbach, and smg dont
>>
>>47655048
Yeah, I hate having to take that Spitfire on Alke, wish she had picked up a Multi Rifle profile like Diomedes (because I'm willing to cop the points cost of the Multi Rifle I don't plan to use much if it lets me get out of spending SWC)
>>
>>47655048
You can also link them with Hector, I guess. It is their only 0 SWC option for a link leader.

7/7 1 dog per list. Primary units are the AP HMG Miniuteman and a five man link team lead by a Marauder. It has a few observers and a medic now. Thoughts?

I also snagged the US Ariadna box. So soon to start painting.

Burst 2 EXP CCW on auto-succeeding dice is nothing to sneeze at.
>>
>>47656031
I think it's fine the way it is, but maybe a vine pattern? I dunno.
>>
>>47655863
Put all the Grunts in on group so you have reloads if one dies, 5 man bonus will be key. Go 10/4, as it is easier to move a few over with tokens once they die. The 4 man group should be 2 'trots, II Grunt and Maverick. Maverick usually only needs 4 orders to do stuff or die, and the fox trots van be recycled into group 1 turn 2 to do stuff. Turn 1 you will want to supercharge one or both wolves.

Do FTs have a minelayer profile?
>>
>>47656031
No, it looks good. Don't make it too busy.
>>
>>47654625
I think you want to keep the HMG but switch it out for the FO in Alkes group incase you draw designation or something.

Looks good though.
>>
Tohaa player here why does everyone say my faction is OP?
>>
>>47656793
Cheaper effective two-wounders and some neat items to put into multiple fireteams.

Personally I've never had complaints and the recent changes are welcome in my FLGS since the few Tohaa players are now playing more aggressively with their symbionts and such.

Won way too many games because they didn't want to lose their Gao-Rael.
>>
>>47656865
>multiple fireteams
Kinda null with Haris and duo being handed out like corner store candy.
>>
>>47657325
Tohaa has more freedom of what their teams are. I don't get the complaints over the prevalence of Haris and Duos now from Tohaa players.
>>
>>47657325

Returning Nomad player again with a revised list. The intention is to make it out of the models I've got, with tactics that I mostly understand (I've got N3, but learned the game in the tail end of N2.)

On an unrelated note, the pic is the intended colour scheme.

Could use advice, but if it's a workable list, I'll worry myself with painting from here on out
>>
>>47656793
Probably the fire vulnerability of all but 3 units being removed. That new ruling still seems to me like it wasn't thought through. It would have been easy to keep the old rules for LI while the bigger guys get the newer rules and become more survivable. It would probably stop the Ectros from being totally fucked over by the Sukeul, too.

>>47657325
Being able to mix and match units in a link is pretty damn good.
>>
>tfw can't paint minis :(
>>
>>47657537
Why is the Sukeul being held to a much higher esteem than an Ectros? ML option? The Mimetism and Vet L1?
>>
>>47657509
I'd give the Rudy a HMG and the Grenzer a missile launcher, to give you a long range active turn gun and some anti-TAG capability. then spend the points to upgrade that Zero to a forward observer.

That Wildcat is quite expensive for a decoy that isn't going to be doing much. I recommend removing him and putting something else in his place.
>>
>>47657671
Both definitely pieces of advice I'm comfortable with.

Would another Zero work in the place of the Wildcat? I wasn't intending for it to be a decoy, but to fight. If it can't fight, might as well use it as an infiltrator, right?
>>
>>47657645
Cause it's cheaper and does the same thing and isn't effected by the fire vunerability as much.
>>
>>47657645
Mimetism, primarily. There's also the ML option, the specialist Lt option, the lack of vulnerability to fire or hacking, cheapness, and nice extra shit like stealth and veteran.
Ectros aren't totally inferior. They can dodge and they've got 3 wounds on a good day, but a Sukeul is still 10 points cheaper and mimetism means they are a lot less likely to need 3 wounds.
>>
>>47657826
Sounds like a solid idea to me. The main problem with Wildcats is that they work best in the midfield but they're also slow to get there. They're best used in a link team.
>>
>yfw ice losers
>tfw glorious CB tricks them and instead adds glorious Varuna
>>
>>47657897
Done and done. I guess I can figure out an E/Mauler or another Observer later.
>>
>>47655271
And both have 360 visors, which only low range thorakitais have now. And thras is a specialist troop and has an ODD, which make him interesting option for a "budget Phoenix".
>>
>>47658385
It's a possibility. They've both got fuckall units.
Glorious Yu Jing is far more prepared for both of its future sectorials while PanO once again demonstrates its stupidity and lack of planning.
>>
>>47658570
Well, it's Nisse, Hospitalers and Jotumn vs Fusiliers, Croc men, Kamaus and Cutters. Though the latters are in more dire need of Resculpt.
>>
Another question:

I play FRRM and I was wondering what was better: Wardrivers or an Aguacil? I was mainly planning on using them to help boost my Traktor muls and objective grabbing, if that helps.
>>
>>47658649
Aggy, less SWC, and less situational gun. Unless you really like boarding shotguns i guess
>>
>>47658670
fair enough. Just thinking that the 6th sense and the defensive hacking device would do more for the remotes. I don't know much about the hacking rules.
>>
>>47658685
Defensive hacking devices are only really good when the hacker themselves is being hacked. The only programs they have that apply to someone not hacking them are programs that hack guided missiles, and AD L3 troops
>>
>>47658700
Fair enough. I have an Aguacil from Icestorm so I can just say he's a hacker.
>>
>>47657596
Get some of those cheap GW snapfits and practice on them. That's what I do.
>>
>>47657596
Theyre metal minis so you can always strip them and try again until youre happy
>>
Ok had a few first games with my ASS. Lost bad everytime, but am new so it is normal. But it would be nice to get some tips. My first 2-3 games were rather close, lost them on scenarios[no FO/specialists to actualy do missions], but learned a lot from them. Right now am mostly facing armies with 1-2 snipers that ignore ODD.

This is my list right now.
Thorakites combi
Thorakites LRL
Alke
Myrmidon Chain
Myrmidon Chain
Machaon Lt
Yudbot
2xNetrod

How do I counter snipers with it?
>>
>>47659451
Those snipers probably have MSV2. Machaon has Eclipse Grenades which is just like Smoke, but NO LoF can be drawn through it including MSV2 and 3. If Machaon is linked, he can send 2 of those templates out to block the Sniper, so you can make your way up the board. Also get Alke into optimum range. Her Spitfire at Burst 5 is almost guaranteed to waste any B1 Sniper. You just need her to get up field and in good range bands.

I also see you have a Yudbot bot in the list. Remember that if the Servant bot is Synch's to Machaon, he can't link with the Mymirdons or Coordinate Order.
>>
Has anyone here ever taken Diomedes? Also, is the HMG Garuda worth it?
>>
>>47659529
oy good call on the bot. I was cheating then. I will try to use alke better.

Considering the yudbot be kind of a counter productive, what could I replace him with a third net rod?
>>
>>47659451
Those snipers have MSV, probably MSV level 2. MSV units are the bane of Myrmidons since they ignore ODD and the higher levels even ignore smoke. Luckily you have Machaon, and he's got smoke grenades that MSV can't see through. Throw down them while you advance and use your other units to fuck up the MSV units as soon as possible.

You're really lacking long range guns. It's important to at least get one, even if you plan on rushing into the midfield with most of your army.
>>
>>47659558
I don't take him often. but when I do, he always delivers. He's great for those turn 2 or 3 attack runs after the opponent has moved forward a bit, or going after rooftop snipers. You just need a good place to walk in or land.

>>47659563
Steel Phalanx can only has AVA2 of Netrods. How many points are you playing?
>>
>>47659563
You can't. They're AVA2 in ASS. What points are you playing at, anyway? Your list adds up to 135.
>>

>>
>>47659590
150. but as a house rule everyone who plays vs aleph or ariadna in the noob tournament gets 20 less points. Do not ask me why, not my decision.
>>
>>47659645
Probably because those factions are seen as OP. Which is funny, considering they're polar opposites.
But there's no need to handicap them like that.

ALEPH was already a very competent faction before N3. Now, they got some new toys that make them really scary. Mostly because alot of their base units got more choices, and some stuff like the new Feuerbach in a Link team will surprise alot of players.

Boltfag from yesterday. How do you decided on a colour scheme?

Does highlighted black/dark grey armour with lighter grey clothes, brown bags, straps and holsters and earth washed then highlighted guns with wood furniture and finally white masks and possibly white and/or red markings here and there sound like it might work? Would wood furniture and leather bags clash too much with the infinity feel for a group like Neoterrans? Maybe I'll throw in a miss matched set of grey jacket/pants with flektarn jacket/pants here and there.

Or I considered a mix of Vietnam war tiger stripe camo and olive drap, as well as at last one of them having his spitfire or missile launcher painted like a tiger.

Or I have considered going with them being space Aussies and paint their guns like the fancy new modernized augs like pic, with matching colours for the rest of the model.

Or something dusty and desert like, possibly with desert storm 90s desert camo, the one with the little black and white dots.

Or fuck all this and do something really colourful.
>>
>>47660254

>Tfw guns named after Philosophers.

I also think they look pretty rad ...mini and rules wise.

Hard to play due to low mini and order count, but mostly every dude is hard as nails.

Robits are fun.

Personally can"t decide between onyx task force around a unidrone link with a hacking nexus agent and maybe a xeodron harris or a Hector lead steel phalanx slap squad.

>Combat Group importance
Combat Group do have a major importance because they cannot share orders. Groups are limited to 10 units and there are many rules that involve groups: all fireteam member must be in the same group, synch'd models have to be in the same group, coordinated model must be from the same group, etc etc etc

Merc with a Bike.jpg
636 KB, 900x675
Here's a first world problem for ya I've been bothering people with.

I got the biker bounty hunter due to a case of biker-envy, seeing as none of my factions have them and I share the flat with a Haqqislam guy with Kum Bikers. So I just wanted a biker if only to look nice and I'm kind of a sucker for pink hair.

However I also got a Chandra kit with a spare MSR, so now I'm thinking of gluing it to the BH and having her stand solo, so that I could actually use her as the cheap sniper she's meant to be. As luck would have it I have a base that fits perfectly, pic related.

But I don't really want to get rid of the bike and having it stand on it's own would look kind of silly. And as you can see I already got a pretty bade for it too.

So I thought I'd get another Biker BH maybe, since she's not that expensive. Question is: what do I do with an empty bike? What would you do with one? Would you buy one off without the rider if someone offered?
>>
>>47661636
Make someone surf the bike as I'm terrible with conversions

or just use it as the dismounted bike marker.
>>
>>47661636
I have a couple extra bikes as well. I plan on using them for terrain details like wreckage or parked in a garage maybe.
>>
>>47661679
>bike surfing
I have a feeling most Tactical Rock miniatures could work great for that.

Using a separate figure for a dismounted bike sounds a bit fiddly. But considering there's a scenario with Booty lv2 rolling it could be possible to get one regardless.

>>47661687
I think I'd be getting a Jotum eventually so maybe one would not look out of place between it's legs.

Eh, knowing myself I'll probably just buy one by the end of the week anyway and care later. I doubt anyone would be selling the girl alone.

New player here.

Are regular dog warriors better than Devil Dogs? What is the point of a shotgun variant when his BS is 10?

When making a link team with Fireteam Core do they all have to be in the same unit or could you say take 2 grunts and 3 miniutemen and form a 5 man team?

Why take a 112 when you could just liter paramedic around your army?

If I throw smoke how long does it last? Is it always a big template?

Is the blackjack a robot?

JOAN.png

>>47668451
>>
>>47672254

1) Boarding Shotgun is a impact template weapon, chain rifles are direct template ones. What that means is that the chain rifle auto-hits, but then the enemy gets to shoot back with no input from you. With the heavy shotgun, you shoot it like a normal gun, and then your templates come into effect if you hit. But that means when you shoot, you're rolling face to face rolls, potentially canceling enemy actions instead of just letting them roll straight. 10 BS isn't great, but he will still be firing with that +6 within 0-8 range. It's not a bad choice, but the chain rifle is great too and cheap to boot.

2) Unless otherwise noted (and there are a number of exceptions) everyone in a team must be the same unit profile. There are no exceptions in USAriadna, so you can make a Grunt team, a Minuteman team, a Marauder team, and the Marauders can also Haris link on top of Core link.

3) Doctors are waaay better at healing people compared to medikits. Doctors use the WIP of the doctor to roll to heal, and they can re-roll with command tokens if you have a cube (but this is Ariadna, so... Actually no). Medikits don't use the WIP roll of the Doctor, instead they use the PH roll of the dead trooper, with a -3 on top of that. So a 112 just needs a 13 or less to bring up your AP HMG Minuteman, while a paramedic will need a 10 on that roll. Remember, if any healing roll is failed, the model loses another wound and dies.

4) Smoke lasts for one game round. If you throw a smoke grenade in your turn, it lasts until your turn ends. If you threw it as part of your last order, it still ends when it becomes your enemy's turn. If you throw it as a dodge in the reactive turn, it stays there until it becomes your turn. Smoke is the size of circular blast template (120mm), with infinite height.
>>
>>47672254
They're a bit different. Devil dogs get better weapons and an antipode buddy, while dog warriors get their dogface form. As for the shotgun, it extends both his range and damage output. Shotguns are piss easy to hit with at short range, even with BS10

They have to be the same unit. There are some exceptions, but they're very specific and USAriadna doesn't get any.

Paramedics are fucking terrible at healing people. They force a PH-3 roll while real doctors use their WIP, 13 in the 112's case. They're equal when healing Dog-Warriors but paras are less likely to succeed for any other unit.

It lasts one turn. It's always a circular template.

No, it's a guy in bulky power armour.
>>
>>47672629
>>47672748

Ok I understand.

In my current list I have room for a Dozer or a 112. Right now I have a Dozer and a few paramedics. I picked the dozer because I figured I could complete more objectives that way with an engineer, medic, and observers. (only missing out in the hacker area)

Is this a good strat or is it worth going for the 112.

Current version is like this. It seems like the Grunt medics would hardly be effective at all. And the Marauder would fail 50% of the time. It doesn't even seem worth wasting an order to do it. Then again a doctor is only succeeding 65% of the time. I am not sure if I should bother except for objectives.
>>
>>47675517
The paramedic's chances are dependent on the PH of the target, not the PH of the para. Healing is always a risky business, but sometimes it's worth it to try reviving your more valuable units.

As for your list, a Foxtrot Lt really isn't worth it. They're not very tough, cost fuckloads of SWC, can't have any fancy skills or weapons that make infiltrators great and are best used near the middle of the board where they're likely to get killed. You're lacking reactive pieces so I'd give it a sniper rifle.

>>
>>47675633
You should switch the Sierra and Croc Man. The TR bot will only really need orders on the active turn if you lose the Orc, and at that point you can just use a command token to switch it over. Infiltrators tend to eat more orders early on.
>>
>>47675742
Makes sense.
Also one question: if you go second and start with TeamPro via Command Token, do you need to use another Command Token to form the Duo? What about when you activate the program on your turn, do you use a Command Token after that?
>>
>>47675618

I figured that was a good way to protect him. I am not using the SWC anything else right now, but maybe I will relook at it.

Why take a Foxtrot sniper? It costs six more than grunt sniper has the same BS and no marksman. Is the bonus from surprise shot worth 6 points?
>>
>>47676220
Infiltration means you can start the game in a good sniping position even if it's outside your deployment zone. Camo means that enemies have to discover you before they shoot you, and even then they've got -3 to hit.

You're also lacking ARO weapons in general. There's the Grunt sniper that I assume you're going to link, but that's only 1 unit.

Bad with combat groups, I just liked the symetrical look and forgot about the whole no orders from one group for the other.

My basic plan would be to create space with the Xeodron Harris team which I would use to step up with the unibots under improved reaction by hackers.

Repeat until enemy is mulched.

K1 makes sense so I don't have to rely on the unidrons to combat Tags and stuff.

I will proxy an unidron with some extra bits as nexus operative.

Probably some kind of improved bot anyway.

I'm working on a homebrew and I can't come up with an idea I like for automatic fire.
>>
>>47680097
What do you mean by "homebrew"? Like a self-made miniatures game?
In Infinity automatic weapons often have a Burst value of 3 or more, allowing the trooper to split shots between different targets as well as enter a Suppressive Fire state, to have Burst 3 in reactive turn.
>>
>>47680058
/tg/'s infinity crowd only barely acknowledge that tournaments exist, despite it being a huge part of the game

also no, travelling across the world is a bit much for a tournament, even if I like the game
>>
>>47680167
Yeah, a wargame. Thanks for the answer. One thing I'm playing around with is letting units with automatic weapons automatically hit a target for half damage, at the cost of having to reload in the next round instead of attacking.
>>
>>47680061
Rate of fire is roughly simulated by way of giving more dice to the weapons with a higher RoF. When attacking with a HMG, you roll 4 dice. When attacking with a Missile Launcher, you roll 1. When attacking with a Sniper Rifle, you roll 2, and a regular assault rifle equivalent rolls 3.

That's it. Automatic fire isn't represented so much as higher levels of sustained fire.

In the RPG, higher ROF weapons can typically elect to spend 'reloads' to gain increased attack pools, and slightly more damage. Some weapons also have special pseudo-critical effects that represent high RoF, like dealing damage to nearby enemies.

>>47680058
Eh, one of many. And one very far away from me.
>>
>>47678748
But whenever it lies, another Aspect also tells you an equally believable truth. Really, it's your fault for not picking the right one.
>>
>>47679423
Remember to picture your opponent looking at your deployment. If you go second they will be trying to kill the Unidron link, especially the obvious Lt/hacker who's about to buff them. Even if you do go first and enhance reactions that's a target well worth suiciding into. If my AD troop eats a bazillion AROs but outshoots the Nexus that's a great trade. When that target isn't on it'll be the Umbra who'll get sniped, so be careful how you position it while you're kicking all the doors down.
>>
>>47680379
Thanks, I know that is a big weakness of my list but I somehow really like the idea of multiple link times through stuff like Haris or Duo etc.

Was sort of worried about that and thought aboutplaying some Trackers as well as a Lt decoy, but that would mean not having WormDoc.

>>47681660
Apocryphal, but the game started as a homebrew RPG setting for the guys who started the company. They previously had made a bunch of weird fantasy minis, like bondage elves and freedommurica elves and whatever.

Most of the named characters were PCs the team made up and were Nomads. All the original six factions were there at the start.

Much of the plotline is EXTREMELY HEAVILLY influenced by 'Hyperion', by Dan Simmons, which is pretty much a very similar setting to Infinity. They pretty much hammered whatever they liked together and made a setting.

>those models have some bad mojo
Did you get a cursed one? Like my Sniper anything, Nisse in particular?
Wildcats I'm consistently happy with.
>>
>>47681686
>supposedly focusing on Bakunin
New Sin-Eaters and Zeros?
>>
>>47681737

Thanks man, you are a good person.
>>
>>47681771
My entire Wildcat squad is cursed, save for the female from the Corregidor box, who I don't really use anymore.

Spitfire takes crits far too often, the other two can't hit to save their lives. MVPs are always my Tomcats cleaning up their failures.
>>
>>47681776
4-model Riot Grrls box set almost guarenteed with the addition of the new profiles.
Taskmasters too.
Bakunin is now weird HI sectorial
>>
>>47681840
My Carlota usually gets AROd shortly after landing, which prompts me to drop the Doctor Tomcat right next to her to put her back up. Then she usually works.

Daktari is good at shooting in ARO, not so much at healing.

Wildcats are heroes, not zeroes.

But anything I give a sniper rifle to is guaranteed to get critted first turn.
>>
>>47681922
>Bakunin is now weird HI sectorial
But why though? Riot Grrls can't hold a candle to the sexiness of the Mobile Brigada, and Tunguska are the ones toting around the HMC-TAG.
>>
>>47681993
4 man link team of mobile brigada in corregidor.

To sexy but so expensive.
>>
>>47681943
I've never actually made room for Carlota, but I've had almost identical experiences with my Engi/Doc Tomcats if I'm actually dropping them in on an Engineering objective. But if I'm just dropping them in as a flamethrower ambush, they always wreck house.

Daktari ARO remote sounds hilarious.
>>
>>47681993
Riot Grrls do something different: They're far more optimized. Cheaper by a good amount. Secondary high-powered long range weapons on the grunts (Blitzens).
MSV1 neutralizes most of the danger of modifiers against them.
Still BS13.
Still got access to Tinbot B.
Still got missiles and spitfire.

Being 75% the cost of MBs mean they're the not the only focus of your list. You can have a second big punch thing to support them or for them to support. Like say... Taskmasters Duo. or TAG. or Furries.

It's an armed catgirl having a a real bad day. After a few too many shots coming from the Fusiliers she's gonna snap.

You could probably put a gecko in as evolution step 3.

So, Druze or Kaplan?
>>

Kaplans look borderline broken to me. How on earth can they cost so little?

You have much to learn, grasshopper.
>>

Not guaranteed at all. The only model missing is the missile launcher. The old models look great and fit scale just fine. If wildcats and combi intruder didnt get resculpts, why would grrrls?

Save it for models that need love like the sineater.

I'll be there. Really excited, Galizia looks beautiful.
>>
>>47682765
You are paying 20-30 points for a one wound model.

They have a good statline and being mimetic is great, but one 5 point chain rifle can mess up their day real bad.

Druze are great too, love the grenade launcher for +3BS spec fire, and DEPs are my favorite weapon fluff wise.
>>
>>47682577
The cutter really holds up for such an old sculpt.
>>
>>47687855
It helps that there doesn't need to be a scale it adheres to. It's unmanned and it's oversized, so it helps.

Of course, you could say something similar about the Szalamandra, and it's a potato.

It's got a cool pose too.

>>47688001
Well it doesnt have to follow any other PanO TAG designs since it and the Zeta Units are the only ones in the series

However, I still didnt like it overall for how thin the waist is and how short its legs are. The upper half is comically huge imo
>>
>>47682733
Druze are simply not good. They've always been subpar, their weapons don't take much advantage of their x visors and they're rather meh hackers. Sekban do fireteam duo better unless you really want a hacker.

Kaplan are wonderful.
>>
>>47685797
OK, now I am OK with this

(although to be fair high school age seems more fitting)
>>
>>47689661
Actually all three of those profiles make great use of the X-Visor. Spitfire not quite as much as the Combi Rifles much since it already has the longer range band, but they all can go into Suppression Fire ignoring that -3 spot. And in a 5-man Core team, the DEP with X-Visor can be a deadly ARO.

But real talk.. Nothing will replace my KTS Core team. Druze are best in a Duo, because they're cheap. Spitfire+Hacker makes a great little specialist team.

>Sekban do fireteam duo better
I prefer Sekban in a Haris with the HRL, a weapon that works best with the extra Burst.

My biggest complaint is that CB made Druze and Sekban so good, that Odalisques are pretty much out of the picture so me
>>
>>47689837
Well, you can field several duos, or even Sekban duo in addition to dekban haris at the same time!
>>
>>47688718
God I hate you sometimes.
I'm that guy who always whines about lacking motivation.
Still going strong.

Har har.
For the record, clipsos minelayer is a good source of board control.
>>
>>47689837
Odalesques are still really cheap for psuedo HI.

There are now tough choices in QK now, which I love.
