Welp, it's time to tell Tenten that she lost the Kon bowl.
Your night of sleep is as restful as you ever remember getting, and you even manage to sleep in. An extremely rare occurrence for you. It's nearly noon when you drag yourself out of bed, and you head downstairs to find no customers in the restaurant at all.
As you wonder why, you make your way over to a meal that's been laid out for you and start eating. You can hear some noise from the kitchen, and eventually your uncle emerges with a basket in hand.
"Hey there, Kon. You're finally awake." he chuckles. "Well, you've earned the right to sleep in as much as you want, for sure. You're probably wondering why no one's here, huh? Well, I closed up for the day. I'm taking it off. I've got a date, you see?"
Your uncle smiles as he holds the basket up.
"Gonna spend a day at the park, and have a nice picnic!" he goes on. "Let me tell ya Kon, cooking has never steered me wrong. Tsume just can't get enough of me! Anyway, I'm running a bit late. Lock up for me when you leave, will ya? Oh and, good luck to you Kon."
Your uncle smiles and shoots you a thumbs up as he leaves.
You finish eating, then think about what you want to do. You still have completely free reign.

You eventually reach that all too familiar weapon shop. A place you've visited countless times. With some hesitation, you open the door and head inside.
You find Tenten within as usual, in the middle of stocking some wares. She puts on a huge smile as she sees you enter.
"Kon, it's so good to see you!" she says. "I thought we'd be seeing each other more often now that the war was over, but it's been over a week! I was thinking about just teleporting to wherever you were, but I decided against it. You saved the world, after all. Who knows if you were in the middle of an important meeting or something? Anyway, it's good that you're finally back. I had something really important to say. I've been thinking a whole lot. I'm might be the strongest kunoichi in the world, you know. That's what I've always wanted, it was my dream. Well, was. I guess my ambition kind of... expanded a bit."
You see Tenten blush. You get the feeling you know what's going to happen, and your nerves get the better of you. Tenten notices your expression.
"Kon, what's wrong?" she asks. "Did something happen?"

The only one who I came to care about more than my dream. But I realized it too late... These feelings won't just go away, Kon. I still love you, and I can't help it. Please don't do anything like that again. I just... can't take it. How am I supposed to go on being your friend knowing that you'll never love me like I love you? How am I supposed to use this stupid technique..."
Tenten pulls out her kunai and throws it to the floor.

You take a seat on the floor, then extend your hand. Tenten hesitates, but she eventually sits down in front of you and takes your hand. You replicate what Naruto did, connecting you and Tenten together.
You find yourself inside Tenten's mind. There's no one here to guide you this time, so you make your way through Tenten's memories on your own, feeling all her emotions along the way.
What she's told you proves true, as her early years are focused on being told tales of legendary kunoichi, and aspiring to be one of them. As soon as she could hold them, she was practicing the use of all kinds of weapons. For years, all her thoughts were focused on this goal.
You eventually reach your academy days. Her thoughts toward you are friendly, but no different from the others at this point. Until graduation, when you start spending more time with her. As time goes on, you feel Tenten's emotions begin to change. As she spends more and more time with you, she starts to think of you all the time. Your encouragement drives her harder to achieve her dream, and she begins to associate you with it. Your presence in her dream becomes as natural as being a ninja at all. You train together, encourage each other, go on missions where you risk your lives for each other. It's not quite love... But you have become an irreplaceable part of her world. Where her every decision before was weighed solely against her dream, you are now as much of a consideration. More than her teammates, family, superiors. You still don't quite believe she didn't realize her feelings at this point, but you eventually reach that very night when she does.

You quickly get through the rest of the memories up to the present. And as you get to the end, you feel the utter despair. The realization that her own efforts to reach her dream have made it unattainable. You fade back into reality.
Tenten is in front of you, crying even harder than ever. Whatever she saw, it must have effected her greatly.

You consider heading home and fixing something yourself, but you decide against it. You're not in the mood. You decide on ramen instead. You head to Ichiraku's.
When you arrive, you and Neji take a seat and order. They may be your uncle's competition, but one in a while surely couldn't hurt.
You're eventually served, and the two of you get to eating. There's something cathartic about eating ramen for breakfast. You certainly feel at least a bit less down after finishing.
"I can see why Sai recommends this place, it's quite good." Neji says, paying the bill. "Though your uncle surely fixes a greater variety of food, so I prefer it."
The two of you leave the ramen stand, then just wander around the village for today. You spend some time at the Memorial Stone, somberly remembering those etched on it. You pass by the academy and see some young ninja in training hard at work. You generally make your way around to see villagers going about their lives. After a full day of watching the lives of others, you feel much more calm. You've made mistakes, but you can't let that slow you down.
As the day comes to an end, you and Neji find yourself in front of the restaurant.
"Hopefully you're in better spirits now." Neji says. "I can't do much, but I can a least keep you company. Anyway, I need to head back to the compound. I've been missing all day and I didn't tell anyone where I was going. Good luck to you, Kon."

"Oh, yes it did!" your uncle assures you. "Let me tell you Kon, I feel like a new man! Like I was young again! It's been a long time since I had something to put my heart into besides cooking and taking care of you. I had almost forgotten the feeling. Anyway, Tsume and I are getting on real well. We aren't thinking about anything serious, but I think we'll be involved for quite a while."
You're glad to hear things are going well for your uncle, at least. You chat over dinner, while avoiding answering any questions regarding your recent activities for now. You'll bring them up another time. After a while, you head upstairs to sleep in your own bed. After a night on solid rock, you fall asleep in almost no time.
